That leaves Kimi out in the cold doesn't it? He really set himself up for a fall when he said McLaren or no-one. He's either out of F1 unless he lowers his wage demands to less than Button will sign for. Really hoping Kobayashi gets a drive, I enjoyed watching him the last couple of races. He reminds me of Montoya when he arrived.

I say pay all teams equally and let Sky/ESPN broadcast the games they want but that doesn't really allow for 'compensation' for the big 4 getting more TV time than the minnows.

Couldn't agree more about the stamina in lower leagues, which I'm sure I read about being fixed for this game. I started an MM as Stockport County in League 1 and it's shocking after a few games. I've had to sign a few on loan (after letting a couple go as I'd never play them) to make the numbers up.

I'll probably cop some flak for this but I detest Blackadder. All the series just grate on me and I hate it. I can't sit and watch it, I insist on turning it over and if it comes on one of those 100 Best Comedy Programmes I sit there and shout at the TV. I like Rowan Atkinson, he is a very talented actor and I like Mr. Bean but Blackadder just isn't for me. Round The Twist too from my childhood. I used to go round to my granny's on the night it was on and I would do everything I could to make sure another channel was on because I refused to watch it. Which show is Hank? Is that the one when Kelsey Grammar presents the news?

Theme Hospital is deceivingly addictive. I can go months without playing it or even thinking about it, then I go through a few weeks of it being all I play. Championship Manager 01/02 is just arrogantly addictive though, I enjoy playing that more than the later versions.

Had a couple of bugs happen to me this weekend, this is a PS2 version so probably won't apply to the rest of you. I'm playing as Arsenal in 'The Season' mode against Bolton. Their striker hits a long-range shot and Almunia palms it upwards, it lands just behind the crossbar on what should be the netting but the ball drops down to the ground and it's counted as a goal! I was seething but luckily came from behind three times to win 4 - 3. My second 'bug' happened in the following when playing Lyon in the European Cup, premiership scores started appearing on the left only I swear they were the same scores I read in the Bolton game. Then I was even more surprised when my own score started appearing! Bolton 1 Arsenal 0 just like it started, then 1 - 1. Anybody else had similar things happen?

I'm on my PS2 version and I'm liking it, playing in the easier settings to get me back into the FIFA mode since been a Pro Evo-ite for many a year now. I find the Pro Evo graphics better but FIFA is more playable and realistic on the pitch (this may just be the PS2 versions). Add in the licenses, more depth (my team is Stockport County), a better season mode and I am finding FIFA a better overall game. I think this was mentioned a few pages back in the thread but I'd just like the clarify so I'm not wasting my time. I started a Manager Mode with Stockport and first thing I do is try to extend contracts but every single one declines! If I leave it till the end of the season will I get the option to automatically renew by ticking a box? I don't want to lose my star players!

Ordered mine from amazon earlier this week (on ps2, I'm poor) only £24 quid and hoping it's there when I get home tonight. I haven't played Fifa for some time, converted to Pro Evo a few years ago, just wondered if I would be able to change the controller settings to match what I'm used to? ie. triangle through pass, circle shoot etc.?

Has anybody ever had a problem playing this game where you sub somebody off and then all of a sudden they appear back on the pitch? I've only recently picked up this game on PS2 and I subbed my created player off for Rosicky and then next thing, my player is making a cross for a goal. I checked the substitute screen and it shows Rosicky as unavailable to come back on.
