  1. Please DO NOT remove Shantelle (Taylor Wilde) Malawski from the game, although she is "retired" from wrestling, I still use her as an active wrestler in my games.

Well, that's kind of saying do not remove Chris Benoit from the game, although he is "dead", I still use him as an active wrestler in my games. If you want to use her in your games, just request stats and make her in the File Editor anyway, but if she is really retired, she has no business in the game, that's how it goes.

A lot of people temporarily retire and come back. Look at Jericho. Look at what Beth Phoenix is doing.

    I'd leave her in as a non-wrestler.

  2. Found it odd that Vitor kept pulling guard, but given he was hurt by Jones' kicks and had a short training camp and thus wasn't in top shape, I suppose it makes sense. Add in the fact that he was able to trap Jones in that tight armbar in round one and got him in triangle position in round two, it wasn't too farfetched for Vitor to think his best shot at victory was a submission... Still wish he would've gone for broke and tried to knock Jones out, which I guess he did in round four, only to get taken down and put in that nasty Americana. Sick fight all around, though. I don't regret watching it or the Flyweight Title bout for that matter. Not sure what the booing was about, but the fight between Benavidez and Mighty Mouse was fast, furious, and fun. I'll look forward to Uncle Creepy working his way to a rematch against Johnson and hopefully taking the belt, though.

  3. If relationships and Alter Egos are all that is left, List the workers here you need help with I can post here what I find....

Well, I used all the relationships you had (thank you for that). There were a lot of guys who didn't have any relationships, even after using your file. I'm nearing the end of that. Alter egos, I have over 300 guys done for that, I think.

I still have work to do on other areas, though... everything from staff, tag teams, sponsors, and rosters for promotions range from somewhat incomplete to very incomplete.

It's definitely a work in progress...

  4. NOC SPOILER

add JBL to WWE working in an open contract

Bryan and Kane are the new Tag champions

Eve is the new Divas champion

Expanding on the Night of Champions spoilers:

Make JBL's gimmick Staff Member. Make him the color commentator for PPVs and possibly Raw (guess we'll find out tomorrow).

If not in already, add a tag team of Daniel Bryan and Kane called Team Friendship. Make their experience 2 or 3 (I forget the # of tag matches they've wrestled).

Not sure if it's mentioned already but make Paul Heyman CM Punk's manager. Change Punk to a heel if he isn't already.

  5. add Matt Morgan back to TNA

Might want to wait a week or two (closer to the end of the month) for clarification. I know he attacked one of the Robbies at a house show, but he's still doing this free agent gimmick, so who knows what he'll end up doing. I know it's a stretch, but he might be on an open contract or just making one-off appearances to throw people off Aces & Eights? I have no clue, but it wouldn't hurt to wait a couple weeks.

  6. I was still going through relationships one by one because there are a LOT that were missed, especially for the lesser known workers. I want the game to be as detailed and complete as possible. I also was still entering in alter egos. That said, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it, but I'm still working on it sparingly. I'll try to post an update as soon as possible, but it's not looking like this weekend I'll get a lot done.

  7. Tammy Lynn Sytch's/Sunny's behaviour/attitude down a couple of points.

Tammy Lynn Sytch arrested twice this week..

I can understand lowering her behavior (and I'd suggest lowering it to 44). But why would you lower her attitude? Attitude is how willing she is to work angles and lose matches and things like that, I think. What happened there is a reflection on her real-world behavior.

  8. - I'd say Michael Cole deserves a stat raise. He handled the situation on RAW very professionally. As mentioned already, while he did professionally handle it, it wasn't within the scope of actual commentary. He gave medical updates and didn't say anything, and even said out of respect there would be no commentary, so it shouldn't translate into his talent.

    - Lower Bret Hart's charisma. Why? 81 is the low threshold for having good charisma. I think Bret Hart showed he can still cut a decent promo. While he's a far cry from what he was in his prime, due to all the problems he's had, he still has an intangible quality to him, which goes beyond just overness - it's his personality, his charisma, his character - whatever the case may be, it's charisma, and I don't think he needs to be lowered.

    - John Cena's charisma needs to be the same as CM Punk's. Mondays segment proved that. It was one segment out of several dozen the two have had where Cena finally looked on the same level as Punk. I still think CM should be a point or two above Cena in that regard, considering ON HIS OWN he cuts better promos than Cena, and while they each did a great job this Monday, Cena doesn't typically churn out the quality of mic work that Punk does.

    - Raise Kane's overness to 92. Agree

    - Raise Paul Heyman's charisma. To what? He should be around 93 IMO.

    - Raise Sheamus's charisma by one point. lol why? I personally don't think he should be any higher than he is now. 84 is pretty damn good, and considering his promos - especially the one on RAW where he was a poor man's Stone Cold in that meeting - come off as stupid most of the time and it's hard to buy into them.

Comments in bold on the side....

  9. Jerry Lawler's girlfriend Lauryn Laine McBride released the following statement regarding his medical condition late Monday night: "Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It has been confirmed that Jerry did have a heart attack…he is in stable condition and breathing on his own & heart is stable.

I don't know if Su Yung's real name is Lauren McBride, but yeah.

  10. Raise Jim Cornette's charisma to 97. To this day he is one of the best talkers in this industry.

Cornette's very good, but not to the point where he'd be a 100 over household name after cutting 30 promos (which is what you're suggesting). 85 or so makes more sense.

I don't follow your argument. You are saying because of game mechanics, we should lower his charisma? Cornette is still one of the premier talkers in the business, right up there with Flair, Jericho, Rock, McMahon and Austin in my book.

...yes, I *am* saying we should make stats based on what they mean in practice in EWR.

So if someone is a great high flyer, but they aren't over because WWE isn't pushing them, we need to lower their speed?

The fact is, Jim Cornette could easily get to an extremely high level of real life "overness" based off of his promo skills, just because he was never put in a spot where he was able to by management and the creative team isn't a testament at all to his skill. As a matter of fact, in real life he WAS at an extremely high level of popularity (more like disdain, since he was a heel) during his early NWA/WCW and WWF days. It's like saying Colt Cabana's skills should be lowered because he never received a push when he was Scotty Goldman.

The argument by Quickquid reminds me of back in 2006-2008 when people claimed CM Punk wasn't good at promos and didn't deserve higher than Randy Orton in charisma because he wasn't given promo time in WWE and wasn't entertaining on the microphone and was overrated on the indies.

Seriously though, I'd leave Cornette at 94. While he is one of the best talkers in the business, I would put him just a cut below the true elites in the 96-100 range - like Jericho, Punk, etc.

Ric Flair is at 94. I'd put Cornette around that, or maybe bump Flair up to 95.

While on the topic of charisma, with Daniel Bryan's recent awesome work on the mic - catchphrases, segments with AJ, segments with Kane, segments with everyone else from Rock to Cena to Charlie Sheen (lol) - I think he should be around 90 or so in charisma. I know that's really high, but he's shown more charisma in the last year or so than guys like Orton, Del Rio, or a few others around the upper 80s.

  11. Add them to WWE

    - Baron Corbin

    - Chase Donovan

    - Memo Montenegro

    - Mojo Rawley

    - TAC

    - Turn CM Punk heel

Stats are needed before workers can be added to the game. I do not do stats, as I am not very good at determining them. If you can find matches for those you listed to back up your stats, then they will be added at Bill's earliest convenience.

    Are you his PA?

After someone does updates for 5 or 6 or 7 or however many years Bill has done them, you kind of get a feel for the standard operating procedures if you view the update threads on even a semi-regular basis.

  12. Can anybody confirm that the download link worked, please? I'm seeing around 12-15 downloads for each file (you'll want to check alter ego and relationship primarily btw, as those are the two I spent more time updating recently and most of the others still need work).

Anyway, I'm going to try to keep plugging away at this in my free time. Meanwhile, any feedback is appreciated.

  13. Change mine to a 100 so the average comes out closer to correct, because it's obvious the guys saying 61 are trying to bring down the average.

That's the problem with doing those. Some people are going to abuse the mean and state something 10 or 20 points lower than what they actually feel it should be so the average will come out closer to what they want.

The fact is, Undertaker is still a great brawler. By EWR terms, he should still at least be an 81.

But the same can be said about those voting higher, they're just trying to bring the average up... Point invalid, sorry guy.

And I do not think he should be in the 60s at all... Not 80s either though. Honnestly, 74-77 would be more than enough for Taker at this stage in his career.

As someone else pointed out, though, there's a lot more variance from 0 than there is from 100. Someone could be a jerk and say he deserves 30 just to throw the average off.

But anyway, I digress. I'm not really interested in arguing about it anymore. There's more important shit to worry about than one guy's rating.

  14. Well, I was being sarcastic about changing my vote to 100 to make a point. I think 81 or 82 is fine. Even the upper 70s is fine. In the end, if I really want to change it on my own, I will, and others will do the same. I just don't think it's accurate, and it's weird to me I suppose that people are suggesting low 60s for a guy whose main wrestling is brawling and he's been having 5 star matches or near 5 star matches for the last few years.

  16. Here's a link to the raw DATA files that I've recently updated:

    http://www.mediafire.com/myfiles.php#5xs0xn763vz9b

Sorry about the delay. That's what I have so far, but there is still much work to be done. It's hard to find decent amounts of time to work on it, but I'm trying.

If someone could help me out with Antonio Inoki's relationships - guys he would have been friends with who were around at this time, people he trained he'd have friendship or loyalty with, and even other people he disliked or hated... That would be wonderful.

As of right now, I'm going back through the workers and double-checking things like relationships and promotions they're assigned to. I also need to set up a replacement txt file that shows which Touring promotions are used to represent the actual Touring commitments (example - World Japan wasn't around at this time, so I was using it for GAEA, but I don't know if I've been consistent...)

Anyway... have at it. Any advice or suggestions or whatever is appreciated.

  17. Add a dislike or possibly hate relationship between Shelton Benjamin and The Barbarian.

    http://www.gerweck.net/2012/08/30/shelton-benjamin-shoots-on-the-barbarian-on-twitter/

Shelton Benjamin and other talent booked by The Barbarian apparently didn’t paid for a tour of Africia. Benjamin tweeted:

“If any wrestler is asked by UPW/ Barbarian of Powers of Pain 2 got 2 Nigeria, get 100% of your $$ Upfront. stiffed me & the entire Crew last yr. or if U know a wrestler planning to tour with UPW/Barbarian “P.O.P” please inform them of my warning. I respect all talent that came before me and appreciate what they do but when a so called Larry Zbyszko stiff his talent, some of which are not as fortunate as me to have made quite bit of $$ that person and his spouse Can go to Hell. Yes I’m referring only to The Barbarian. NOT WARLORD. to mention myself @valvenisent @jefflewis and a few other guys basically could have been killed when the bomb went of in Abuja the day before that bomb went off we were yards away from the embassy, and this MO’Fo turns around and stiffs talent. F— YOU BARBARIAN!!!. To my fans please excuse my language but I held this in a long time hoping that Barbarian would reconcile the situation but like a true liar and Thief he nor anyone else answers calls or returns and if by accident they do pick up they hang up immediately. Thank God I have and still make a good living but I feel sorry for those guys who really depended on their pay-offs”

Someone getting scammed in Nigeria. Hard to believe.

  18. Still planning on releasing something either today (Sunday) or tomorrow (Monday).

I'm happy to say there are over 1500 relationships in the game and over 300 alter egos.

There is still a LOT more to go, though. I've done quite a bit of work in those areas and a little in others, but again, the scenario is a work in progress.

It's more difficult finding relationships or guys like Abdullah the Butcher, Abismo Negro, and other guys who are not in the game or deceased, for example. If anyone can get me a list of relationships for Abdullah and Abismo, that'd be great.
