I always lioke high work rate, if we need someone who'll fight for every bal it can make up for having lower talent then someone else who may be better technically. just don't expect a 20 work rate conference south player to be leagues ahead of a top class but lazt international player.

Well I'd start by looking for specifics, a striker with finishing 15+ for example to go up front, you're on a budget so maybe players who are available on frees. Yup looks like your right, were pretty much outplayed in the first half but barring the greatest comeback in history now the Shrimpers should be through. Held on, overall throughout the season Southend probably deserved to go up after all but Lincoln, unlucky to get a goal in that first half, could've been a different story. On to Division 2 now, my gut instinct says Hartlepool but I think it'll be a hgoal either way.
