  1. I think it varies from store to store unfortunately. You're best bet is to keep hold of them and then when Game or somewhere like that do a trade in 5 games get x for £5 get rid of them on mass.
  2. Which STILL means PASSIVE offside IS bollocks AND doesn't WORK. A Referee CAN still "NOT notice" the BLATANT offside and GIVE the GOAL. Thats the POINT people are MISSING. Until they TAKE a DEFINATE black and white RULING it will always be CRAP.
  3. I've seen it a few times to, I think the AI managers ability has way more effect sometimes on a clubs fortunes then the players managerial ability. I daren't say that Martin Jol or Santini (depends on an update) made a hash of things but was able to leave the core intact and someone has gone in and made some tactical changes linked with his preferences and things have clicked better.
  4. Tell me about the series, without spoiling anything, you've got my interest. ←
  5. The problem is as you pointed out there he's not interefering. A second late the shot comes in ball is dropped by keeper and spilled to the feet of B tapping it into the net. He is not interfering but a second later he is but the goal is given. That's the problem with passive offside, it's bollocks.
  6. Club all the way, I can't wish suffering and injury upon these players just to get behind them for a couple of weeks every two years and I really can't think of any reason why I would. I'm the same with supporting an English club in Europe, why just because I'm told they're representing me and my country should I decide to want people like Arsenal to be sucesful?
  7. There was always something similar in place as far as blocking the keeper went about. If a player ran off the field of play after crossing the ball he didn't count as offside, they were then able to casually stand in front of the goalkeeper and deflect the ball past. Similar to the way RVN and Henry as well as sooo many others abuse the "passive" offside rule. We need something black and white like it used to be, why should the game be open to corruption and simple fuck ups like this?
  8. Arsenal talking about trying to swap Campbell for Jenas apparently. Guess the talk of all the financial problems has a little more substance now :\
  9. You notice the ones dropped were the only ewvents for Regents Park? Sounds like a fix to me
  10. Which is how Rugby was invented way after football by some complete arse picking up the ball at a public school...
  11. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out as The Offspring and Green Day are the EWB Rock hall of famers I'm owndering how quick the mood will have changed for this batch.
  12. The PGA players would end up in this making it another PGA event more or less. I see no reason why this should be added. As much as I like Tiger, I'd rather see Golf off the Olympics than hearing about Tiger going for gold, or Vijay, Phil, Ernie, and the rest. ←
  13. Their not fantastic games and I think you have to have a fair amount of interest in the sport to begin with. Gallop Racer added a bit more then G1 by having training and breeding in there as well as the racing. There is a tactical element in there that means that no two horses should ever really be the same (breeding in GR means you can have very similar but not exact) so you need to learn to ride them before they can really reach their full potential. Might be worth a rent rather then buying straight out to be sure though.
  14. I'm not massively surprised that these two sports were dropped to be fair, they're not particularly globaly played as much as certain events on the waiting list. After the sucess of the commonwealth games I wouldn't be surprised if 7's got in, they did quite well and Rugby is perhaps the second biggest team sport in the world.
  15. 7 more years of Robbo, can't get much better then that at the moment. Atouba can go if we pick up a decent amount for him (how much did he cost anyway?). As for Saviola, would be a great signing but we're linked with everyone and his dog so you can't really judge that until it happens.
  16. Thats been the holding point in all his negotiations I think, I'm surprised Newcastle didn't pay it though, they have a habit of paying over the odds for name players these days. I think it'll be haggled down closer to 60k in truth, still to much though.
  17. They could always swap Gerrard for him instead If they go through with this though then there goes all their prize money from last season and the transfer budget for next few too due to the wage bill.
  18. Do Spurs have £20 Million? ←
  19. Young, English, Talented... Why aren't Spurs splashing the cash for him?
