  1. So Roman's billions meant nothing to Chelsea's sudden rise or to Gretna winning almost every game in 2 years? ←
  2. My thought's exactly TRB (Lanky and TRB agree, must be a first ) I'll never be able to understand these people who hack consoles and the like just to play a game that's coming out in two months time, in English It's all well and good until you damage it and need it repaired...
  3. Nice header, made me appeciate Robbo's save even more seeing that goal!
  4. Yes, and thats why I fear Scream 4, it might just be the Alien 3 of the franchise. ←
  5. IF playing - I take menthal notes, look at what made us lose and talk with the coach about what we think needs working on, ball retention, handling, kicking for touch. Whatever it may have been and we work on it at the next raining session. As a fan - Depends on the game, last year Spurs lost 5-4 at home to the gooners. I was there and it was a shame we'd lost but it had been a good game and was far better then a 5-0 blowout. Last week at the lane we lost to Chelski 2 - 0 at home, all stemming from a ridiculous refereeing decision and I'm still bloody anoyed now!
  6. On the subject of Lennon (what I saw of him) against Chelsea he looked quite threatening. Loads of pace there and he had a good chance. Shame he's behind Routledge, Jenas and Tainio in the pecking order.
  7. That will only happen if we can get another striker. We have improved our bid for Lucarelli to £3.4m while Govou from Lyon is another possible option. ←
  8. Well someone had to pay for Owen to go to Newcastle, no idea why it had to be us though Was it just me though or is it all propoganda, trying to make the Geordies forget that they are in a shitty state? The whole thing is bizarre you have people trying to make a big thing out of him going there over back to Liverpool, when everyone including Owen has said that was always not going to happen.
  9. K! Went down hill the day it dropped Sonne and The American Heacharge song I can't remembers name as it's main anthems in exchange for the above artists. These days it's mainly Skuzz although out of habit I still find myself reading the mag every week, no matter how much they infuriate me
  10. It's always good for these players when the starters get injured. There are a lot of good players there who if Sven had his way would never get a look at the international squad. They may not be the absaloute best players but it's good to see them get a reward for the hard work they put in and Zat Knight is one who deserve the recognition.
  11. You aren't wrong. I noticed it aswell. The crowd seemed to have gone there to see Blake winning and not to see some good Tennis. ←
  12. Kind of like Live 8 then in that respect.
  13. hehe, I can see where this is going already. *grabs popcorn and ringside seat*
  14. On a similar subject, what do you think of novelisations of films. I can remember reading a Ghostbusters novelisation years ago as a kid and enjoying it, rereading it after finding it at the library I wasn't massively impressed. On the other hand though I've just finished reading a good version of Alien. Good with the suspense although obviously I knew who was going to get "it"
  15. Good to see the potenial for a Spurs spine to the side there, shame King's injured and Sven'll pick the same midfield to the day he dies but we're gradually getting players in the squad anyway. Looking at that what seems to be Sven's starting line-up, I'd guess at something like this. GK - Robinson LB - A Cole RB - P Neville CB - Ferdinand CB - Terry ML - J Cole MR - Beckham MC - Lampard MC - Gerrard ST - Defoe/Owen* ST - Rooney Bar any injuries or sendings off for breathing on players we should be comfortable for picking up the points here, probably only 1/2-0 though.
  16. It was a piss poor game, well what I saw of it, collapsed mid -way through the second half and find myself rushed to North Middlesex flipping hospital Later get told final score by the club doctor (who happened to be the hospital heart specialist) was 2 - 0 after the ball seemed to hit the Chelsea players hand. Lanky has second minor heart attack of day
  17. It's just the regular NHL EHM. I've had a quick look around the interface and been playing a wee bit as a feeler with the Edinburgh Capitals, seem to be getting to grips with some of the basics well but no real idea as to what I'm doing, go to tactics, ask assistant to pick and watch games. It's got results but lets be honest, no real challenge in not doing anything but I've got a feel for it now at least
  18. Decent player but too far down the pecking order to really get in the frame, was unlucky last year with interests. A couple of million and I'd say we should take it. Not fair on him to sit stewing at Stevenage when he could be playing regularly at top flight level.
