Well having recently left my job and lost my girlfriend to a younger model (21 and being ditched for younger men already, typical!) I've had a lot of free time and spent loads of it playing Civ 4 , FM2005, City of Heroes/villains and a wee bit of time on other free games around.

I don't really visit many websites except offical and good fan sites of games I play regularly. As for magazines I don't really subscribe to any but every couple of months I seem to pick up a copy of PC Gamer.

The theory is as far as the actual movies go you can make anything and alhuogh people haven't bothered during the actual game yet I've heard that things like too much violence will affect the rating the game gives. The tycoon side isn't the biggest pull to this game for me so I hope that what we've been told about the movie making process is true and we can do decent drama as well as more comedic movies...

Well the Bolton goal stemmed from a hand ball and Defoe had a perfectly good goal disallowed so the draw wasn't the "fair" result but would have been the right one. I'm just pissed off it takes a goal against s before we play like that. Eventuallly you'll face someone negative enough to prevent the comeback, oh wait, we did....

I'm very impressed with some of the movies out already. I think it could be very easy to pick up and get some quite high quality stories very, early on. Definatly one the community will keep going for a long time I think.

Dichio was good until he broke his leg then went from good, too really, really shit... Interesting that in both the United and Arsenal games Robbo made stupid mistakes for the goals, one almost expects James to get his place back after the next game

Gah Lanky's pissed off (more so then usual) me dads just phoned up to say him and a mate have picked up[ tickets at the last minute, and he didn't fucking invite me. I know I'm a damn accident but the least he can do is take me to Spurs games when the chance arrises. Bastard

A couple of efforts cleared off the line to, I expect Oldham to come out all guns blazing and it'll take some good defending to keep them out early on but they've been impressive first half.

Broadhall way is renowned around non-league circles for having some of the most passionate fans there are. The fact is if a team are playing that bad in the fans should let them know, that's why our national team are so poor, they're told "never mind we were unlucky" when there should be bollockings. I remember after Paul Fairclough got us hammered 4 - 1 away to Lincoln, a team who were actually the league above us and completly outclassed on the day, when he said the only difference was the goals he was shown the door within 48 hours. That said I just saw the highlights again and noticed you were away, explains a lot more as to why it was like that after the game when you'd been pretty much outplayed for 90 mins and a little more forgiving for the performance, other fans would not have been that forgiving.

Dramatic finish to the game. Coming up to 2050 I was second but quite a way behind, both the Egyptians and English had blitzed me in the E-lliance at one stage and we never quite recovered and I was well and truly in the shit. 2040 I rush built the United Nations trying to make one last gambit for victory. Building completed in Rome, the vote comes around, me versus the relatively uneventful, yet highest scoring Chinese leader which I won due to strong votes from my Russian and French allies. 2047 I get the chance to notion for diplomatic victory and fully take advantage opf the chance. 2049 the results are in and... I failed, negative votes from a jealous Mao and the E-lliance meant that I failed by 6 VOTES cue time getting ahead of the game and Mao holding on for the win. Next time Mao, next time...

I regularly watch conference football (and below) and I can assure you if we'd been taken apart like that we sure as hell wouldn't have been singing their praises after a performance like that against a smaller club.

Nah there just stupid, christ you play like that against a smaller team heads must roll. Nice to show support for a team but there are times when you need to let the team know things aren't good enough.

Stampy gets the job done all the time. Eldinho, to score a second and we can all go home nice and happy. A rare away win if we can hold on, but our away form's been shit this season and the only thing between us and league two.

I hope they get fecking hammered personally, Gazza or no Gazza I'm sticking with the normal Spurs second team Stevenage

I've been impressed so far with it and just as addictive and so on as past titles have been. AI hasn't been bad either, I actually had to start a game again bvecause of it. Basically I'd only been able toreally expand in one direction due to shitty conditions and found next to no useful resources. Unsurprisingly the barbars soon picked up on this and they were attacking en mass with technologically superior forces almost every turn, first cuttting road links to the rest of my empire before taking out cities one by one. Really impressive so far.

They did the same with the initial relewase of Rome - Total War, think it's an activisaion thing to add some longplay to titles. It won't be long before somebody nlocks them all and patches it either way.

It's so difficult looking at Elisha when your brother watches Popular Mechanics for kids every day. Still think of her as this cute little girl rather then the hawtness she really is
