Staltieri like Smith should probably have had an early bath and him not going was the one concession we received. As for Pyo, there was one dive in the box after minimal contact with Rooney there was NO contact. How about the ball hitting Ferdinands hand deflecting a Defoe shot on goal? How about the numerous fouls which left everyone incuding United players in disbelief at the lack of a freekick? There were so many "odd" decisions you would have thought Styles was refereeing a Chelsea match. Perhaps things do even themselves out, but at Old Trafford you know how even those things will be. Not incredibly. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if a "did it cross the line" incident this year wouldn't it?

I could point to so many games on "Home of the Underdogs" which are underrated and don't get the kudos they deserve. It'd be impossible to list them all. Even now I'm thinking of some games that are deserving and ones that the more I think about the more I wish I could get hold of/would work on mah pc.

I don't understand the point of infinte lives cheats and the like so have never used them and the only other form of cheat I've uysed is the slot machine on Premier Manager 2 and there was a chance of losing money on that so it was more mini game then cheat. However on the Lion King on the mega drive I always used the level skip to get past the second level (with all the monkeys) since I could never get it to do what I wanted. I redeemed myself though by playing through to the end oince I'd got through that level.

Draw sounds a fair result. I've been waiting for the buzz to die down and us slip into our traditional spot battling for UEFA but I think it's safe to say we are definate Champions League contenders now. Liverpool dropping points again was great news.

Don't be blind, everyone is in it for the money. No one just goes, "Well alright, we'll live in poverty... but at least we can play music!" any band that says that doesn't make it far. The goal is to get your music across to a broad audience, get your message out and make as much money as you can in the process.

How the fuck are Green Day that high? Can carry a decent tune but they've never been new/original or particularly influential in any major way. The same sense I could say for SOAD. Again nothing ground breaking there with a few decent tracks but I wouldn't rate them that high. Will be interesting to see how the rest pan out now. Looks like an obvious candidate won't be number one if these are anything to go by.

I fail to see the logic in what you just said. People waited for years for American Idiot, fuck, I waited ten years for that album. Because as a Green Day fan, anything after Insomniac sucked huge amounts of cock and to see them come out with this album and it be so damn good, it's a treat. People bitch about it being overplayed, but that doesn't change that the album itself is fucking awesome. Radio and MTV suck, sure, but that doesn't take away from the album. And I don't see how releasing every track as a single says you're only in it for the money, that says you're busting your ass to showcase your work. Releasing new albums every year with one or two singles looks more greedy to me. A "good quality album" is one where every song could be a single, that to me says there's no filler and I should throw down money for the CD. And in case you forgot, every band is in it for the money.

I don't think the problem is that bands don't release mopre singles at every moment to shill every penny out of you it's the new album every year that's the problem. It suggests that like releasing every track as a single you're only in it for the money. The best album,s IMHO are the ones we've been waiting desperatly for a few years for. Maybe if people spent more time making good quality albums they wouldn't need to release 50 singles.
