    Sony PSP

I would say Liberty City stories is worth getting, but apparently thats being ported to the PS2. Might want to hold out for a while, since there was talk of releasing software that lets you play emulated PS1 games on it. Might not mean much since you can play them on the PS2 already, but I suppose it might make it easier to get the games? :\
  2. Just out of curiosity, is that the same tree Dochappy used in his graphic? It looks strikingly similar
  3. I know it's done, and I'm not particularly well known in this part of the board, but I thought I might as well chip in since I'm here I don't see any reason not to take AD's graphic seriously in a cinema, it looks fantastic in my opinion. The majority of people going to see it would be RE fans and seeing the artwork from the games being used to promote the film would make me think it'd be accurate to the games etc. I realise this is basically semantics rather than the technical aspects that you'd be judging on, but to say it doesn't work is a bit weird to me. I agree with Norris on the red Milla opposing the blue zombies, but I think it balances out well with the red text at the bottom. The font could be better though, and I think the III is too reminiscent of the JPIII logo, but it's still a great poster. Norris took the words out of my mouth (Fingers?) though with the comments on Xero Gravity's poster. Almost exactly what an official Saw poster would look like. The bloody handprint, the quote, the background. It's all almost perfect. The only thing that sells it short in my opinion is the fact that Saw posters usually tend to be a lot more raw, and uglier. Like the Saw 2 poster, there was jaggy sharp nails, cut fingers etc. A bloody handprint seems sort of tame in comparison, but it's still a pretty fucking good entry.
  4. Discworld Noir should be easy enough to get a hold of, but the first two are practically impossible, unfortunately
  5. Has anyone ever made this Samoa Joe? If so, how the fuck do you get his tights to look proper? I know you need an action replay, which I have but I can't get the codes to work right. There's layer movement modifier codes here which tells you how to move a design below the restricted area. But it always seems to be too far down or not far enough :\ What I'm asking is if you've made him and know which code I'm supposed to use, mind telling me? >_> I know how to get rid of crotch blur and whatnot, but this moving layers around thing is driving me nuts.
  6. Seconded. I got that with a bunch of other cheap games from my dad one christmas years ago (It included Deus Ex so I can't complain too loudly >_>) played it for about half an hour and never touched it again. I found it a few days ago lying at the bottom of a drawer and wondered for a second who it belonged to. Thats one game I'm glad I forgot
  7. The camera system in Super Mario Sunshine was so ridiculously bullshit that Satan himself broke down in tears trying to play it. And I forget which one (Most likely all off them) but the Simpsons game where you drive around was crap too. The controls for the cars were rubbish, you either turned far too sharply or you didn't turn at all. If we're allowed to put games we're just bad at then Gran Turismo was crap too. I found it impossible to turn The Getaway is one of the worst games I've ever played. It might just be that I don't care if the game is mapped EXACTLY like London and "Look I can drive to my house lol!" but the game was shit. The controls were shit, the driving was shit, I can't even remember the story. Worst game ever.
  8. See this is where I get all confused. A year or so ago I got and played a whole bunch of the old FF's, but due to the III in Japan, VI in America nonsense I ended up having no clue which is which. So. Which one was it you had to fight Kafka (?) and there was a black ninja dude with a dog you could get? I think thats the one you're talking about, which was indeed awesome, and incredibly large. But I prefered the one where you are a knight who ends up becoming a paladin or something, and had a partner called Kain >_> I've a feeling it was II, but fuck knows. People who hate Raiden miss the bigger picture. I'd gladly play as Raiden because of how awesome it makes Snake look. Snake easily gained more overness from not being the main character in 2 then he would have otherwise. But the story was good too. It was just way overthought, in my opinion. The half-hour (Or so it seemed ) conversation over codec before fighting Solidus at the end is ridiculous. Thats the reason why I think it's the weakest, but it's still good.
  9. I know Benji always shoots his load about FFIX, but I honestly think it was one of the worst ones I've played. That being said I only got through three disks, about a million years ago, so refresh my memory a little? I still think MGS had the best storyline of the series, although Snake Eater was pretty awesome, if only for the ending. Deus Ex was also damned good, to throw in something else.
  10. I understand the two hour bus trip, but you're going to sit with your MP3 player on for the entire duration of your time at college? Bullshit, it's unnecessary, stop making us feel inadequate >_>
  11. Still haven't got Paypal working? :ohwell: I have an iRiver that I've had a year or two and it's still working brilliantly for me. I actually dropped it the other day, stepping out of my car (It fell out of my pocket), landed on the concrete driveway, and smacked the battery casing off. Slide the casing back on and it's still working perfectly. It's 256 MB's, so it holds about 60/70 songs. I know it's not exactly a lot, but theres stuff on it I haven't heard in ages, and i take it everywhere with me. How the hell people need 200+ songs at any one time is beyond me. Like Ap Sham says, it's simply dragging the files from your PC folder into the removable drive and you're good to go. It gets FM radio, can record from the mic, has random, program, etc all that stuff. I can't really help you out pricewise, since I got mine as a free gift from work, but I think it's worth quite a lot. Amazon.com says it's worth about $100, but I can't find anything on the canadian page about it. I know you said it'd need to be retail, but it's just to give you and idea of the price.
  12. It's a flaw in the AI. It's nothing to do with faces. EVERYBODY climbs the cage a bazillion times each match. Good luck with that challenge.
  13. You should have a PC disc and a PS2 disc, don't you? My PC generally makes a loud noise when I insert discs, so I can't help you there >_>
  14. They're pretty shitty instructions then. I haven't used it myself yet but I'd imagine you download the save file, hook up the Max Drive to your PC and transfer the file onto the MD. Then, using the disc you got with it transfer the file to your memory card. You might have to use the PC software for the MD to get it onto the drive, I'm not sure. But I'd assume it's no more difficult than burning a CD then ripping it on another PC.
  15. I've rented it before, and I'd say it was definently worth twenty bucks. From what I recall it wasn't the most complex of action games, but it was definently immersive. I loved pulling the heads off of Medusa's. I hated the swimming part. Thats all I can remember right now, it's been that long since I played. But I just picked it up today for 15 bucks so give me a few hours I love the Platinum range.
  16. It probably could be done in 15 minutes. I had never played with Spike before and it took ages before I could feel out what all his submission moves were. Then I realised working his legs were useless since I couldn't sharpshooter him, so it probably could be done a lot quicker than 21 minutes.
  17. Spike Dudley is horrible when you forget to set him as a face. I finally made Bret tap out to a single leg crab thing that I don't know the proper name of, at 21.53
  18. Irish whip into chamber glass eliminates HHH at 2.08 Dragonrana thing from turnbuckle eliminates Big Show at 5.33 Taker tombstone eliminates Andre at 5.52 Taker tombstone eliminates Kane at 7.08 450 splash eliminates Taker at 11.29 Taker is a fucking machine at kicking out. His head was in the red the entire four minutes I was alone with him and he just wouldn't lie down.
  19. I did it in 7 minutes wondering what all the fuss was about, until I remembered it was supposed to be on Legend difficulty. >_<
  20. Wasn't that Nuclear Strike? I know for a fact I hated that one with a passion. It's making my blood boil just thinking about it :@ There are too many of them, that I haven't played in the longest time. Which one was it that the first level was you flying around Washington DC, protecting the Presidents motorcade? Thats the only one I can remember
  21. "Stoke, can you stop obsessing about the people shooting at your face for a moment and tell me what day it is already?" No, thats not annoying at all. I still enjoy playing the first Driver, but Driver 2 was awful. I never played Driv3r but #2 was absolute garbage. That being said I think Stuntman was an awesome game. If I wasn't a complete tit who accidentally deletes stuff from my memory card, I'd still be showing off my 100% of the final level on Stuntman. The only bad thing about that was the game was mind-numbingly difficult.
  22. I couldn't care less about seeing Snake through anyone elses eyes but Snake. I wanted to kill terrorists with style, not jump around as some pansy cunt. Did you hate MGS3 as well? I mean, you're not playing as Solid Snake there either. Playing through Raiden makes Snake ten times more badass than he was after MGS1. Playing as the ponce is worth it for the bit in Arsenal Gear when Snake going apeshit.
  23. Max Payne 2 was a horrible let down after Max Payne I thought. I don't know if it was just the change of the model actor, or the fact that it seemed to me to be a complete change from the first games character, but I just can't bring myself to finish it. The Getaway is another one. Easily one of the crappiest games I've played, and the most frustrating driving in a game ever. If we're counting games we didn't buy, but still didn't get the hype behind, throw in all the Gran Turismo games. To me they're little more than great graphics :\
