Am I the only one who thinks that the ECW storyline is both the best and worst story in season mode? It's incredibly cool if you stay as the Smackdown guy fighting the ECW insurgence, but when you choose what SHOULD be the cooler option of joining ECW, it goes a bit mad. Seriously, RVD is the biggest flip-flopper this side of that presidential guy Holy shit, I take it all back. I just Van Terminator'd Van Dam :|

I prefer the second, although his face is a bit weird. The second guy didn't really explain how to make the beard properly either, so mines is a little off, and the skin type he gave him (The really really ripped one) looks as though he's been lying in pig shit on his back. Never made the first one.

Yes. It involves replacing the in-game music files with adjusted files of the music you want, burning the whole game plus music to a new disk, and using it in your modded PS2. No game I have ever played since first picking up that NES pad all those years ago has ever managed to frustrate the living fuck out of me as much as Stuntman did. My CAWs finishers are the F51, and the Ki Crusher. He uses the tazzmision fairly regularly though. And let me say Doc, you get a bit too into this

Ladders are easy because all the computer ever does is try to climb, regardless of the situation. If you beat them till they're red, then just strong whip them over the ropes they should be knocked out outside, leaving you an easy climb. I did however also lose that Tag match with Eugene, like Kraigy

ARGH Since when did they make title matches DQ again? I was playing through season with Austin on SD!, and got the story where I ran down Long. I chose to jump to Raw for the world title and fought HHH at Mania. Spent half an hour trying to find a suitable move of Austins to put HHH through the announcers table when he blocks, and goes to get a chair. I get frustrated, take the chair off him and wallop him one. I got DQ'd, season over. No cut scene, no rematch, nothing.

Just do what I did, and take a CAW though a season mode. It helps build their stats at the same time as unlocking the moves, and once you complete two seasons you get unlimited stat points.

The holy shh chants are alright the first time you hear them, but it's a bit silly when you get used to them. You get them pretty much every time you put someone through the announcers table, so I've heard them a lot

Holy shit. Thats pathetic, I wouldn't pay that price for a PS2 nowadays with the top ten games of all time, let alone for a launch console.

Stuff like Limp Bizkit, or Linkin Park I can understand, but there's a fair share of people I know that despise Audioslave (And to a lesser extent Soundgarden) which I find disheartening, seeing as they are my favourite bands (contemporary and past)

Play the match yourself, and make them win. Don't just put them up against a lower carder, cos chances are they'll job. HHH jobbing repeatedly to Trish Stratus may be funny, but it doesn't help matters

Stats count for very little, and interfering/slandering the other promotion rarely works. Star power is where it's at, get the most popular people you can, and as many as you can. Whore them all over your show, as many popular workers in one match without too much fatigue, and always hype your main events/PPVs. I swear I'm going to slap the next person who asks that

I mentioned LOD. CAWs Jake is ONLY available from PSP or a cheat device, such as gameshark. And he's awesome, even if I didn't realise his DDT was already useable >_> I still don't get the Buried Alive hatred. I got Taker inside it first time playing the match, and it's not as if it's difficult to hit a casket finisher, if you suck at the other bit :\

The little guys are usually easy to, you can just knock them off the apron with a strike. Look to wear some of the guys down too, usually when they are partly worn out, you can simply whip them over the ropes and they collapse down to the mat on the outside. Big Show/Andre starting 1st in a Rumble full of cruisers makes for an easy challenge. Reversing finishers are hard as fuck, I took about four pedigree's before I managed it. In the old games they needed to kick you first to stun you, so you had an idea of when it was coming, but not anymore. Hows your dexterity with using the second control pad as well? >_>

There isn't any, not in the way you're thinking. There are storylines that involve specific characters, but you can only get them if you DON'T play as that character. If you want HHH's story, you'll need to play as someone else, who isn't part of it. Raw storylines are different from SD!'s but thats only because the rosters are different. Don't know where you heard about a CAW specific story cos well, there ain't one. I dunno if Cena's got his own specific storyline, cos I haven't played as him In season? You have to go to your locker room, and select the lockers. You should be given a choice of what attires you want to wear, if there is an alternate attire. Dirty finishes are awesome. I just had a tag match for the SD Tag titles, Los Guerreros versus the LOD. Chavo hit the Gory bomb on Hawk as Animal tossed me (Eddie) outside, but when Chavo went for the pin, I grabbed Animal's feet as he started running, and we won. It wasn't a special dirty finish or anything, but it was damned cool cheating all the same

Anyone except Eddie, Angle, Booker and of course, Taker. I think.

Two player mode (Y) Just get two player to build up a finisher, store it, then hold L1 and move the right analogue stick. He'll steal your taunt, then you just kick him This one is a bit weird. I did it the first time and I know I eliminated ten people, but apparently it didn't count because someone else helped me with a few. Then I did it with Andre making sure there were only cruisers so I could easily eliminate everyone and I got it. Not sure if you need to do a 30-man rumble or not, but might as well try. I'm beginning to think it's based on weight classifications. I'm sure my heavyweight CAW has done different backstage brawl moves than I saw Tajiri doing, but then I could be wrong. The Matt Hardy one in his current camouflage is alright, but whoever wrote it sucks. He's missed out the actual camouflage on the pants, a belt, and can't describe for the life of him. He's also made Matt have a huuuuge long neck, but I haven't seen Matt for a while, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt >_> And is it just me or does the letters suck this time round? Trying to make Matts 'I will not die' shirt, and the letters are tiny :\

Yeah, I did the same thing with my brother. GM Mode is fun for a while, but it suffers from the same repetitiveness that makes EWR too boring to play for long. And this doesn't have even half of the features EWR did. Regardless, Jake is still locked, same as he ever was. Action replays or Codes it is, kids. I do believe you can edit how quickly the momentum meter fills through the options menu. I'm pleased with it though, it makes it so much more fulfilling when you have a long back and forward match always just on the brink of a finisher, only to finally hit it, without having to do the stupid 'kick to make them groggy first'. Although I hate the fact that storing your finisher too close to the opponent actually makes you use it. Can't count the number of times I've unwittingly used a finisher when the guy's only at yellow. This is why Benoit's new secondary finisher is the Pegasus Tombstone I was happy with it, but I've never played DOR. The loading times are ridiculous, but I still love having my CAW come down to a unique entrance all of his own. If only there were a bit more non-superstar animations. I agree here. In SDvR it was possible, though thumb-blisteringly hard to stay in the ring, even if thrown over the top rope. In SDvR06 if you're over the rope, unless you can counter the immediate grab attempt, you're fucked. Due to the fact that a third AI wrestler automatically helps eliminate the person on the ropes, all the time. Argh. And fucking Elimination Chambers. Going to the top too often doesn't bother me much, since usually it gives me time to work over one guy at a time, but the fucking pins are impossible. For an elimination/survival type match, it sure works like a triple threat. If I'm wrestler A, pinning wrestler B after fighting for ages and finally getting a finisher, why the fuck does wrestler C break up the pin? Because he happened to be targetting wrestler B? Fuck that. I never understood that, why did they go to the trouble of making Bret Hart in the game if they're just going to give him HBK's fucking moves? It's mind-boggling. Close, but no tubular smoking thing.
