Wasn't there some sort of fuss a while back about WWE trying to shut down games like EWR? ... The picture was taken of the SDvR06 box in an Australian Electronics Boutique, and posted on GameFAQs. I dunno how real the box is, but it looks rather shifty. I can't see this being real, since they've never mentioned it before (as far as I'm aware) but if it is then I'm just going to laugh at everyone who bought TEW >_>

The online mode looks fantastic. I can understand not putting in the Rumble in, but you've gotta admit a 30 man multiperson match would be fucking incredible. The CAW swap feature sounds nifty too, I can see these CAW sites giving up on formulas entirely soon enough. Although I've heard that there'll be even less CAW slots this time round, for some strange reason. You wouldn't happen to play SDvR online, do you? I've got a bit of spare cash and I'm thinking of getting the network adapter in advance for SDvR06, but not if I have to fuck around with GameFAQs cheats till it comes out

Ah, I see. I know all about the alterate attires using different models as well, I only mentioned it because it makes more sense to have three attires rather than three seperate characters. If the movesets are gonna be drastically different though, then I get the point. Thanks for clearing that up (Y) I didn't know he was gonna be a different attire, so that makes me very happy If thats so then Legend Taker probably will just be an alternate, being in from the beginning I can't see them dropping him completely. Three Hogans seems way overkill, I mean, does alternate attire not work anymore? The only reason I can see them having three different version is if they're sticking Voodoo Child in for Hollywood Hogan :\ I'm surprised at the lack of Legend Taker, and no Masked Kane makes me a sad panda. The locker room looks surprisingly nice. I've noticed a D-X poster, a British Bulldog, Kurt Angles medals, a Kane mask () and interestingly, what looks like the end of a wCw poster. (Yes, the WWE's 'wCw' logo) There's also a trophy case, with stuff like the Tough Enough trophy, so I guess thats from challenges and whatnot. All the belts aer there, and the Million Dollar Belt looks surprisingly good. It doesn't look as though there's a default WWE World title, other than Cena's, so there's a bit of a fixer-upper >_> Overall looks pretty fucking good. It seems as though they've spent their time adding worthwhile extras instead of stupid crap no one needs, like bra and panties and stuff. Lets hope the gameplay doesn't let it down, and I'll be happily throwing down my 40 bucks when it comes out. Well yes, but they've got to have something to balance out the Hammerstein Ballroom >_>

I've played a few FF games, but other than the PS/PS2 version, don't have a clue which is which. This is where you lot come in >_> Which FF is it where you fight some sort of misty dragon early on? I think one of the main characters was named Kane, by some AMAZING coincidence. I liked this one. Which FF is it where there's seemingly dozens of playable characters, has moogles, Ultima dragons/weapons, a ghost train and a Ninja with a dog? I'm fairly sure it was all in one game, and if so is the one FF I've started and not been able to finish, so far. Is the above game the one with Kefka? I can't remember VII, VIII and X were awesome. I'm actually in the middle of playing VII after a looong space of no FF action. I've gotten to the part on the third disc which is where I usually get bored running after the Weapons, in an effort to avoid having to face Sephiroth I played about half of IX and couldn't get interested in it at all. I played a bit of X-2 so I could finish off the X story, but gave up feeling rather dirty, after being slightly too interested in the Dress Sphere aspect >_>

For instance, in that first pic I can only see Spiderman, a kid and the front bumper of a car. Fuck knows what else is going on there. It might be different playing the game, I don't know, but those screens don't make me think "Wow, I need to get this game", especially after the superior graphics of Spidey 2. I get that Spidey2 and USM are supposed to be different in both graphics and playability, but my point is that those shots don't really make a good case for cel shading.

Thats the main thing stopping me from getting the game. I can't stand cel shading, and it doesn't look particularly good in this either. That being said, I loved Spidey 2, so to hear the gameplay follows that is good news. I hadn't read any comics in ages, so the continuity doesn't really bother me. Does it still feel as cool swinging randomly around as it did in Spidey 2? Have you played as Venom yet? That was one of the major selling points for me, even if they did remove the symbiote spider symbol, for some reason.

Seconded. Most shops around here dont even stock GC games in themselves, let alone multiplatform games. It'd be frustrating, if I didn't already have all three GTA games on PS2 >_>

It's blatantly easier on the PS2, with the two analogue sticks. Kaney, they might be refusing to stock it for it's mature content, the European version hasn't been censored like the American one, there's shower scenes and an interactive sex game too. In response to TRB, I was actually meaning the way you have to open cupboards, take something out, close cupboard and whatnot within a certain time frame, stuff like that. I don't mean button allocation And Dragsy, I guess thats it, but they never bothered about GTA's hot coffee, apparently. Meh, I'll just have to find the independant store and see if he's got any. Fucking hate the independant store around here >_<

Is it worth buying outright? Apparently my local Blockbusters is refusing to stock it, for whatever reason. I know it's supposed to be pretty fucking good, but it's not one of those -hate-it-or-love-it games, is it? From what I've heard, and read of it I'd probably love it, but I'm not sure about the controls, it seems a bit naff to me :\

The books are fantastic reading, and are suitably different from the films to warrent new interest, if you ask me. The chameleon dinosaurs you mentioned were Carnotaurs, but I think Crichton took a bit of creative liscence on that one. The first film is the only good one, in my opinion. The second one was just too far removed from the books for me, and I just couldn't enjoy the third one at all. I no like seeing T-Rex being bitchslapped >_> Agreed, although all of the kids bugged the fuck out of me
