  1. Tacko Fall is currently polling sixth in the East's All Star voting despite only playing 11 minutes this season.
  2. Jason Garrett is finally gone. I assume this was the start of his meeting with Jerry Jones:
  3. Domingo German suspended 63 games (81 game suspension less the 18 games already served last year).
  4. The stunt McDaniels pulled on the Colts still has me thinking he’s already been told he’s getting the Pats job whenever Bill decides to wrap up.
  5. I’m a Mets fan, I don’t trust anybody.
  6. He simply said "yeah, I plan on it" when asked in a Sugar Bowl presser if he was staying at Baylor. I trust it about as much as I trust Chase Young saying he was planning on returning to Ohio State when he was asked two weeks ago. It's an answer nobody can actually hold them to because they're simply trying to not cause distraction ahead of a big game.
  7. I’m not surprised. From 1978 through 2017 they only had three General Managers, and two of them retired. For the Giants to fire a GM in two years goes completely against their history. And as much as I dislike Gettleman, these were always going to be two rough seasons while they waited to escape cap hell. Any new GM would be handcuffed to the Barkley and Jones picks rather than getting a chance to build from the ground up.
  8. Two weeks ago, late in a tie game, my slow ass catcher gets on base, I sub him for a pinch runner. Next inning starts with the pinch runner behind the plate. I sub him out for a new catcher and the second I click yes to sub him in, the game crashes. Infuriating since it was a playoff game but I figured it was just a random crash. I got through the playoffs, did the offseason, starting a new season. Same exact scenario cropped up but with different players. And once again, putting in the backup catcher crashed the game. So that’s twice now I wasted nearly an hour on a damn game just to not be able to finish.
  9. Not saying they force an offensive coordinator on the new coach. More just that they retain him for now and allow the new coach to make a decision vs allowing them to hit the market. That said if they’re only letting the guys with expiring deals to that makes more sense. That would make me nervous. Unless the Giants really are Rhule’s “dream job” as some reporters have claimed, Dallas would put him in a way better position to succeed for the next few seasons.
  10. That would be a mistake on Dallas’ part. Garrett should go yes but guys like Kellen Moore and Jon Kitna should stick around unless the new coach insists on bringing in his own crew.
  11. I’m guessing with Tucker it’s more to do with the fact that he’s only in his 8th season. The majority of guys on the list had very long careers, and as a kicker who only just turned 30, he might not even be halfway through his career yet. If this list was done 5 years from now he’d probably be on it as he’s certainly on track to join Stenerud, Andersen, and eventually Vinatieri in the Hall.
  12. The very first comment trying to put over his 19-19 record at Baylor as indication that he’s overhyped. Just totally ignoring that Baylor was always going to be a dumpster fire in his first year.
  13. If Rhule actually wants the job, it’s his and whatever other interviews they conduct are window dressing or fulfilling their Rooney Rule obligations. It also means they’re going to have to find a minority candidate willing to take an interview for a job they know they won’t get...kinda like Louis Riddick interviewing for the GM job when it was always going to Gettleman. I get why the rule exists but it can’t work properly when most owners want to hire friends or previous connections and refuse to keep an open mind.
  14. I want Matt Rhule. He has some ties to the organization as he was assistant OL coach with the Giants in 2012. That said, I could see hotshot college coaches avoiding this franchise like the plague.
  15. Glad he’s gone. Now to see who they hire - hopefully not a retread I really thought the Giants were a logical landing spot for Rivera, so for him to take the Washington job before even seeing what openings are there means that Snyder backed up the truck and gave him money that would’ve been impossible to turn down.
  16. I was rooting against the Eagles always, but now there’s extra incentive of hoping to get a rubber match in two weeks.
  17. Brutal delay of game penalty that took them out of Lynch territory.
  18. All I can ask for is for the Eagles and Patriots to be knocked out as soon as possible. A Super Bowl that doesn’t have at least one team I hate would be lovely.
  19. So the Bengals take Burrow, Washington gets Chase Young. I really want Andrew Thomas at #4, but whether he’s available depends on what the Lions do. Taylor Decker has a 5th year contract option coming up. If they give him an extension I don’t know if I see them using a #3 pick on a guy they’ll play at RT.
  20. Mike Francesa sucks, but he was proven to be completely right about Pat Shurmur.
  21. Meh. As bad as they are, Washington are way worse. And with a team this bad Chase Young alone wasn’t gonna turn it all around. Besides that, nothing is more important in today’s NFL than the QB. And today’s game sure shows that they can’t possibly retain this OL next season. Get Andrew Thomas.
  22. Pat Shurmur, who surely has to know that today is the last game he’ll ever be an NFL head coach. No trick plays, no creativity, calls the most bland, basic offense just as he has all year. He can fuck right off.
  23. Not sure I’ll ever see the Giants beat the Eagles again in my lifetime.
  24. Jameis ends with 5,000+ yards passing, 30+ TD, 30 INT, and setting the pick six record
  25. Ahahahaha Pats They’ll probably find a way to bounce back and win next week but having to go to KC and Baltimore is no easy road for them
