The sad thing is the Giants pulled Eli as the starter right as he fell to .500 in his regular season career. As bad as the Eagles have looked recently, the Giants are far worse and haven't beaten the Eagles in years. So now Eli gets to lose to Philly one last time to go below .500 Yet if he manages to pull off an unlikely victory and mess up Philly's season in the process, it'll just fuck up the draft. Total no-win situation for the Giants.

If you get him a line and receivers who can actually get separation, you can win with him. If you don’t, his gunslinging nature will result in a boatload of INTs. I was reading an article where a bunch of high school Michigan and Ohio State fans were polled and the majority of them indicated that they didn't view any real extra importance in this game or the rivalry. Was kinda shocking to see until I remembered that Ohio State has won 14 of the last 15, basically the entire time these teenagers have watched football. It's like the rivalry got so one-sided that it skipped a generation.
