  2. No new Eastbound & Down tonight makes me sad, but Game of Thrones is back so...yay!

  3. Looking forward to seeing Eastbound & Down tonight.

We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.

I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.

  4. All the X-Men movies suffer the same problem, it's like they only focus on Magneto, Xavier, and Wolverine. I remember Azazel but I always forget about Riptide being in the movie so I'll give you that his goons were pretty unmemorable. It's kind of like they scraped the bottom of the barrel for X-Men characters. Or just drew names out of a hat at random. Also the problem with calling it a prequel is the movie takes place in the 1962. Havok is Cyclops' younger brother, yet in Wolverine which I guess takes place during the Vietnam War Cyclops is a teenager. Meaning that Cyclops would be the younger brother and Havok would be the eldest. Also there's no mention of Havok by Cyclops in any of the other films and Mystique never makes reference to being an X-Men or knowing Xavier prior. Beast is the only one eluded to as ever being a member of the X-Men before in X-Men The Last Stand. Also, there's the case of the two Emma Frosts and the small matter of Xavier walking in the 1980s when being crippled in First Class in the 60s.
  5. I have "Man or Muppet" imbedded in my brain since seeing the movie. It's funny though it won by just a point over X-Men: First Class. X-Men: First Class was a pretty good return to form for the series. After the abysmal X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine they needed to do something to bring the series out of the doldrums or just bury it. As many glaring continuity errors there are between this film and the others I don't consider it a prequel. And while it doesn't have all the og X-Men like I was hoping it would(Cyclops, Angel, Marvel Girl, and Iceman) it has a good group of characters. It's a fresh start for the franchise. The castings of Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy were great choices. I love the ladies man Xavier trying to pick up chicks. Magneto's a straight up bad ass in this movie as well. The Darwin character as said before was pretty disposable and I don't really care for the Angel Salvadore character either. It was a much better film than I expected it to be. Probably because Bryan Singer was a producer on the film and I liked the first two X-Men films because of Singer.
  6. Damn I forgot about Trigun so I had to edit my list.
  7. 1. The Simpsons 2. Batman The Animated Series 3. X-Men The Animated Series 4. South Park 5. Trigun 6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 7. G.I. Joe 8. Beavis and Butthead 9. Clerks 10. Freakazoid
  8. I was never into the show but my best friend was a big fan of the show so I've seen some clips of it. Like of course the, "I'm gonna dip my balls it!" bit.
  9. Yeah well hopefully you can actually wrestle a full match this time instead of waiting to press Y. Then you just watch a cut scene in which just about ever match ends with a screwjob finish.
  10. That was the end to season 4. Lost Season 4 ending spoiler
  11. ... never fails to make me cry like a little baby. I hated Charlie.
  12. The first season of Lost is probably the best season imo, season 3 is when it starts to suck. There's too much filler in that season. More boring Kate flashbacks, a flashback to how Jack got his freakin' tattoos, and another stupid one with Claire in a car accident. It gets better after season 3 though probably because they shortened the seasons after that.
  13. You're an Angel Witch! You're an Angel Witch!!

  14. Yeah I also rated Captain America tenth on my list as well for a reason even though I also saw Red State which was only slightly better than Captain America. The last good Kevin Smith movie was Clerks II.
  15. I saw every one of those films in that last list except for Attack the Block. I've never even heard of that movie before.
  16. There's only 6 multiplayer maps and they all appear as N7 missions in single player.
  17. I'd like to see them add some more maps for multiplayer and some new characters. Like a batarian character would be nice, a hanar one would be pretty amusing but I don't think that's going to happen.
  18. CENTRAL BRACKET 1) Lost vs. 16) ER - No-brainer for me here. 8) Mad Men vs. 9) Game of Thrones - Never watched Mad Men 5) Buffy the Vampire Slayer vs. 12) Monty Python's Flying Circus 4) Breaking Bad vs. 13) Bottom - Breaking Bad's probably my favorite show on TV 6) Supernatural vs. 11) Fawlty Towers 3) South Park vs. 14) Batman - This was a tough one for me since I like both shows but I had to vote against South Park. The campy 60's fun of Batman wins out. I wonder if Batman The Animated Series made it? 7) Farscape vs. 10) Freaks and Geeks - I like both shows here but I had to go with Freaks and Geeks. 2) Doctor Who vs. 15) Sons of Anarchy - Never saw either show but I'm going with SOA here.
  19. EASTERN BRACKET 1) Community vs. 16) One Tree Hill Considering I've seen one episode of Community (the first one) and never watched One Tree Hill. 8) Only Fools and Horses vs. 9) The West Wing I've only seen the pilot episode of The West Wing and never saw the other show. 5) How I Met Your Mother vs. 12) Peep Show I've never seen Peep Show and HIMYM is one of my favorite shows. Granted it's a bit stale now but it's still one of my favorite shows. 4) The Office (U.S.) vs. 13) Columbo I'm not a fan of either show but I went with The Office. 6) Blackadder vs. 11) Eastbound & Down Never saw Blackadder and Eastbound & Down is one my favorite shows on TV. Hilarious. 3) The Walking Dead vs. 14) The Tick (Animated Series) I remember watching The Tick as a kid but I'm not as enamored with it as other people on the forums. For all it's flaws I went with The Walking Dead. 7) The Shield vs. 10) Frasier Never watched The Shield so I have to go with Frasier here. 2) Seinfeld vs. 15) Star Trek: The Next Generation This is was a tough one since I like both shows but I went with Seinfeld here. Besides I like Kirk better than Picard.
  20. For Shepard, it's resolved. It's kind of a dick way to think about it, but they did achieve what they set out to do. Ending spoiler.
  21. The writers strike shortened second season of Heroes was awful. However I think the show recovered after that and was disappointed that they shit canned it. Also I agree with you about Sliders, they ruined that show after the third season but I still enjoy watching it on Netflix. Also Also Skummy you are awesome for voting Twin Peaks at number one.
  22. I love the overall theme of all the photos from the films.
  23. Listening to the Allman Brothers Band channeling my inner Redneck.
