  1. Either buy an XBOX360 or wait for a PS3. With a current system, you aren't going to notice much of a difference, because they weren't designed specifically for a HDTV.

    Amazing Race

I love the show. The "Family Season" has been OK thus far, not great, but still entertaining.
  3. I like a little diversity. The Beatles were sort-of diverse. They have a certain style, but there are songs that are different, nothing really sounds the same.
  4. Paul McCartney's "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard." Great album.
  5. I can't believe that FF7 is #1. I thought that the fanboys of that game weren't so strong over here. I mean, the game is good, but it's not THAT good. Same thing for the football manager series. Is it a good game? Yeah. But is it anywhere NEAR the top-five games of all-time? Hell no.
  6. MGS3 starred Naked Snake (Big Boss), not Solid Snake (Pliskin)....
  7. Probably about 1/2 hour per day on average. Some days (weekends mainly) I'll play for a couple hours, but on a lot of days I don't play at all. Of course, that could be because no games that have recently come out have really interested me...
  8. - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (+6) - Metal Gear Solid (+3) - Super Mario World (+1)
  9. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Super Mario World Dragon Quest/Warrior III Grant Theft Auto: Vice City Super Metroid Secret of Mana Mortal Kombat
  10. If you want to do it, go for it. It might be hard to get 100 though, I have a feeling a lot of albums will only get a couple points and there will be a bunch that are near the top.
  11. Nobody's ever going to be pleased with a list like this. Some people (like me) appreciate the Beatles' kind of music as good stuff. Others appreciate the stuff that System of a Down does. There are major differences in opinion throughout any group of people really.
  12. The Beatles are great for many reasons. They really did influence music. They're probably the most well-known band of all-time. I think "Yesterday" is the most played song ever. They've got variety. Lots of good pop songs, some good rock songs. They appeal to many different audiences. Look at the lyrics. The lyrics are fucking strong. I have yet to see somebody write lyrics as well as Lennon and McCartney could. Hell, even Harrison. And it isn't just a couple of their songs, they were puttin' out great stuff all the time. What I consider to probably be one of the most important reasons they're great is their voices. I listen to many of the bands today, and sometimes I can't understand what the hell they're saying, or I think "What the fuck...anybody can sing like that." Sometimes it's just untolerable. Harrison, Lennon, and McCartney have amazing voices, and Ringo wasn't that bad. I'm done, I don't have time to go into detail about reason why I like the Beatles and think they're the greatest band of all-time. All I know is that they're different than most bands today, and I think that's great (I don't really like the way rock went after the 80's). And Oasis....damn, I like Oasis, but I don't think they're deserving of a spot that high. They haven't really had that much of an impact, and their music isn't really that outstanding. Great (I'd rank them in the top 25) but not 11th in my eyes.
  13. Yes! I'm glad the Who ranked so highly, they're one of my favorites.
  14. If you're not going to post it all at once, could you at least update your first post in this topic with everything that has been posted so far? It's irritating to go through 11 pages, it'd be nice to have everything in once place.
  15. No offense, but could you please just post the list? This isn't "suspenseful" or anything, it's just irritating to have to go through all the pages just to see who the list (which isn't even complete.)
  16. Cool, they're pretty much the same store anyway.
  17. 1. The Beatles 2. The Who 3. The Rolling Stones 4. Led Zeppelin 5. Jimi Hendrix 6. Cream 7. Lynyrd Skynyrd 8. Van Halen 9. AC/DC 10. The Eagles

    Harry Potter

There is no such thing as a "children's book." Books can be read by people of all ages. You read the book, and tell me if you think some little 6-year-old is going to understand all of it.
