There is a plan of actiion to try and preserve games that would die when the companies behind them end their support, it's mainly focused on games as a live service, so when they shut down the servers it kills the game, there is a website StopKillingGames.com that goes into the details and includes how you can take action. And here is a video explaining everything.

Doctor Who Season One Premieres 11th May 2024 Looks like it will drop simultaneously on iPlayer and Disney+, with a UK air time of midnight, both before the UK terrestrial airing. EDIT Didn't notice the trailer dropped too

I'm a fan of TheRetroFuture / Elliot Coll, he does a lot of Game Boy/Nintendo handheld content, his second channel has some good chill modding/repair videos if that's your jam.

Since this is the first I've seen it, I've just fixed it, I've got a twitchy scroll wheel, and if you hover the mouse over drop boxes you can scroll through them with the scroll wheel, and sometimes it happens without me noticing and knocks someone one space out of line.

Due to how slow the game runs with more promotions active, I have included active promotions but have them closed, to identify these they have their opening date and closed date the same. I've added some of those teams, I moved away from adding teams from stables since calculating that stuff is an utter pain, updated the rest though. Also heads up, the next update should be out Saturday, got stuff going on tomorrow so gonna push it back a bit.

If anyone is interested, I'm working on a mod for PWS, a reboot of the NWA Domination concept, starting in 1990, I've got the database mostly sorted and it's mostly fixing and expanding on things now. I think something bugged out last update, I noticed a little lag in the editor.

Okada contract ended, but was still lined up for some events in February. He'll be gone next month.

The financial update just dropped.

It has it's own clunkyness to it, mostly due to features not fully added/intergrated yet, it's very much in a sandbox phase right now, although I think in the next update money will actually be starting to be a factor and you could get fired or buy out promotions, currently you can just go into debt and nothing happens.

I had these down, I remember there being a name taking over Stardom and google gave Taro Okada.

It's a mix of both, sometimes there are features that are handy, like the preset promotion styles, and then there is a lot, which mostly is the stuff that I just can't be arsed with touching anymore. My biggest issue was that I hit burnout during the lockdowns, when there wasn't much else to do and was editing the mod a lot and to try balance that I started work on a different mod, but it was still in the same game, then when the lockdowns eased I got my new laptop that could run other games and they took up most of the time I was putting into TEW, I went from editing for multiple hours a daily to maybe a couple hours once or twice a week.
