  1. The OG Half-Life is currently free till the 20th. https://store.steampowered.com/app/70/HalfLife/
  2. TBH it's more about cutting a promotion that I feel I'm updating for the sake of updating, the only reason I added them was so there was more than 1 promotion in Europe.

    Doctor Who

Two Hartnell episodes have been found, with one reported to being a dalek episode, but reading through it seems they are in the hands of former BBC staff collectors, who don't want to give them back since they were not allowed to take them and they risk any repercussions if they were to return them, with calls for an amnesty for anyone who has footage to not be at risk of any issues if they return them. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2023/nov/11/lost-doctor-who-episodes-found-owner-reluctant-to-hand-them-to-bbc

In relation to the previous post, that story is going to be released on home media in February 2024. Looks like Channel 5 is going to air one of their Secrets & Scandals episodes on Doctor Who on the day the new series drops.
  5. To be fair, Young Sheldon is a lot better in comparison, a lot of the criticisms of Big Bang Theory such as the laughter track and over use on references as punchlines are absent, it's a proper sitcom, and I would actually recommend watching it. Also if you marathon it, you can catch up in under 3 days. I TAKE NO RESPONSABILITY IF YOU MAKE THE CHOICE TO WATCH YOUNG SHELTON!!!
  6. Makes sence, the AI is bad a text, come minor PS work could fix it.
  7. What's the Long one meant to be?
  8. It's in the AI thread here
  9. If you've seen the AI Image Creation Thread I posted in the graphics section, I mentioned that gazwefc is working on an AI graphics conversion of the C-Verse over on GDS, well he's also converting the C-Verse to PWS and it's just a tiny bit of an upgrade.
  10. Since that tends to be the light/cruiser limit, it's light under 220lbs, middle over 220lbs.

There is going to be a colourised, rescored and edited version of The Daleks to air on November 23rd.
  12. Here is the update for November, a bit low key since I've had a few things on, the big thing would be that WWE/NXT has had a pop update, beyond that just the usual updates and fixes. I'm looking into possibly shutting down Italian Championship Wrestling, I only seem to be updating it for the sake of having more than one fed in Europe, also I'm thinking of removing The Crash and trying to add in Big Lucha, or as best as possible with what's out there. Other than that just the typical for the month, not many additions/renames, all info will be in the editor, so as usual if you see anything out of place mention it and I'll fix it up for next month. Enjoy. Database: November 2023 Graphics: September 2023 (Google Drive) BUMP Workers and Belts: July 2023 (Google Drive) KyKy Workers: January 2022 (Last KyKy Pack) KyKy Worker Expansion: June 2020 (KyKy) Worker Expansion contains pictures of wrestlers holding titles, along with non wrestlers cut on the same background used for workers. TEW Mods by TheWho87 on Discord Frequently Asked Questions Why is [Promotion] closed when they are active? Due to how slow the game runs with more promotions active, I have included active promotions but have them closed, to identify these they have their opening date and closed date the same. To activate the promotion simply remove the closed date.

I think that logic can be used for Classic Who in general, although I think the 80's stories do play into the cheesy campness more than usual. YES! I forget Black Orchid, that's "the other cricket one", although I think the main cast were not fans of it for that same reason, although I will say if you want an Agatha Christie story, Robots of Death is way better, and has one of my fave Doctor Who quotes from D84 "Please do not throw hands at me."

I'll add them, and that first/last story is good, just as long as you avoid Twin Dilemma and Time and the Rani, I'd even give credit to Robot and Castrovalva, they are not perfect but still good fun. A colour animated Marco Polo I feel would be one of the few I think would be an improvement on the original, I really wish they would do a pure historical story, I don't think there has been one since Highlanders, it does really play on the whole morality of time travel, if you had the chance to change the past, would you and what damage would that do, it would make a good modern two parter, interestingly that kind of story has been done with The Ark, it's not a stand out story, but it's 2 episodes where they introduce the common cold to a colony ship, then return some point later before they reach their destination to find out that it nearly wiped out the crew and made their servant class (think the ood in NuWho) take over the ship.

These would be my recommendations for each Doctor First Doctor - The Daleks (Season 1) - The Aztecs (Season 1) - The Romans (Season 2) - The Time Meddler (Season 2) Second Doctor - The Tomb of the Cybermen (Season 5) - The Enemy of the World (Season 5) - The Web of Fear (Season 5) - Mind Robber (Season 6) - The War Games (Season 6) Third Doctor - Spearhead from Space (Season 7) - Inferno (Season 7) - The Daemons (Season 8 ) - The Sea Devils (Season 9) - The Green Death (Season 10) Fourth Doctor - Genesis of the Daleks (Season 12) - Pyramids of Mars (Season 13) - The Brain of Morbius (Season 13) - The Robots of Death (Season 14) - The Talons of Weng-Chiang (Season 14) - City of Death (Season 17) Fifth Doctor - Kinda (Season 19) - Earthshock (Season 19) - Snakedance (Season 20) - Resurrection of the Daleks (Season 21) - The Caves of Androzani (Season 21) Sixth Doctor - Attack of the Cybermen (Season 22) - Vengeance on Varos (Season 22) - Revelation of the Daleks (Season 22) Seventh Doctor - Remembrance of the Daleks (Season 25) - The Happiness Patrol (Season 25) - Ghost Light (Season 26) - The Curse of Fenric (Season 26) I'll add these seperatly, but the recent full animations of missing stories are amazing in how they have done them, the two dalek stories are the best of the 60's era, they should be a must watch for anyone. - The Power of the Daleks (Season 4) - The Macra Terror (Season 4) - The Evil of the Daleks (Season 4) - Fury from the Deep (Season 5)

So I guess this means the plans for different in universe shows are go. This is also a day after they announce Tales of the TARDIS, a miniseries where old characters are reunited within the Tardis to go over their run.
  17. Just a heads up, next update should be out tomorrow or Thursday.

    Doctor Who

The worse part was the waiting, they had Flux and the Jodie specials in the bag for a while and took ages to drip feed them out, it seems like the plan is to get back to the old schedule of a series a year with the Christmas specials. Also The Star Beast airs November 25th, Wild Blue Yonder airs December 2nd, The Giggle airs December 9th, with all the 60th specials will be out on DVD/blu-ray on December 11th.

    Doctor Who

They've got the specials in the can, they've got the first series of Gatwa's in the can, and now they are starting to record the second Gatwa series, guess this proves that they want to bring back Doctor Who as a regular annual series again.

I'm pretty sure the comic has 4 and Kirk team up. They tried with Avengers, it didn't work out well.

I recall there were rumors of a Star Trek crossover during the Enterprise era and when Doctor Who got rebooted, but Enterprise got axed before things went further.

Well isn't this fun news, the son of the writer of the first story of Doctor Who An Unearthly Child/Tribe of Gum, due to licencing reasons around his fathers work that he now owns the righrs to, including the fact that he seems to argue that he owns the rights to the term "TARDIS" because it was created by his father. https://bleedingcool.com/tv/doctor-who-why-bbcs-who-niverse-will-be-missing-an-unearthly-child/
