I haven't commented on this thread a lot, but I've been waiting for RHCP to be listed. I was expecting them to be in the last update (because if they weren't in yet, I was suspecting a top 3 finish); but #5 is great, especially in a top hundred list.

I'm hoping that Cloverfield is what Best Week Ever described it as - a giant lizard with a top hat and monocle, with a bad British accent. "I say, I'm going to destroy your city!"

I just began a game as a guy who was born in Colombia. Emigrated to Mexico in my 20s and married, had five children. Emigrated to America in my late 30s, wife died, kids moved out, found new wife. Began work as Police Captain in mid-40s, second wife died. Stayed PC until mid-60's, became entertainment industry guy. Stayed EIG until 80's, became potter. I was a potter 'til I died at age 90. It looks like what Budd said was true: 'The number one killer of old people is retirement... if people have something to live for, they live a little longer so they can do it." Just born as Robert Barasai in Congo to a 20 year old father named Joseph and a 16 year old mother named Anne. I've had siblings born every year, and everyone in the family's contracted some disease. I'm not making it to 50, am I? EDIT: I made it to 31. I contracted damn near every disease there is in the Congo at age 29.

My best game so far was with a Japanese guy- Yuki Yasuka or something. Anyway, the awesome thing is that I made a lot of money with him back in Japan - I switch over to the U.S., make about $300,000, go BACK to Japan, and I'm effing rich. About fifteen years of police captaining work with 1,080,000 yen a year... When I was asked if I wanted to retire, the age they gave me was 1373. (Of course, the year after, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and died one year (the year after) after my first daughter had died.)

Christ, that sounds stupid. I'm gonna keep saying Tidus as 'Tye-duss'. Auron > essentially EVERY other character in FFX... Seymour's cool too. And while I haven't beaten FFXII yet, Balthier's my favorite character in that game so far. I hate Vaan with a passion.

I so have to find a pic of 'Stached Jumbo Cactaur and make that my avatar now. >_> EDIT: Booyah, bee-hotches. (I kinda liked the whole slow-build Rinoa/Squall love story, that eventually led to the breakdown of Squall's 'omg loner' thing.)

FF9: TIE - Lindblum & Black Mage Village. FFX: Luca FFX-2: Besaid FFXII: Rabanastre, I guess... I haven't beaten this one yet. >_>

Also, one thing I was hoping for while playing an old FFVIII file the other day - it was during the last boss fight... I was so hoping for Angelo's Rush attack to be the hit that'd win, just imagining (in my geekdom) how it would be explained in their world. "And so, with all their efforts combined... the world was saved by a dog." Or, y'know... something like that >_>

Personally, I like VIII the most. Probably has something to do with it being my first FF game. My least-favorite FF has to be XII. It just seems like way too much of a change from the norm; it's like FFX-2 kicked into overdrive (no pun intended). And I wouldn't say that some are better; they all have their famous moments.
