So next week i'm recieving £250 and im kinda in a predicament over which console to buy. I've seen a pretty good deal on a Wii (Including Sonic game and Wii Sports) for £179.99, or an XBox 360 Arcade for £149.99. Trouble is the money that i'll have left will have to last me for another fortnight. With the Wii, the positives include getting games included which will keep me entertained until the next wage when i will be able to afford Mario Kart, which is one of the only reasons i'd be buying the console in the first place but on the flipside there's a serious lack of games that interest me and i'd only really be entertained with the multiplayer, so eventually it would probably just be an ornament. With the XBox, the console itself is cheaper, but there are no games included and i wont be able to realistically afford any until the next time i get paid (3 weeks time). Grand Theft Auto IV and XBox live are the main reasons i would be buying it, but eventually I would have to fork out more money on a harddrive, XBox live subscription fees and various other things to get the maximum XBox 360 experience. It may appear that i'm answering my own question and swinging slightly towards the 360, but i'm curious as to what you would do if faced with a similar situation. (Feel free to promote the PS3 if you think that might be a better option, but i hadn't considered it at this stage)

Man I forgot all about Battletoads, the hardest game ever! Did they bring out a SNES version of it too?

I never really got the big deal with Tombi, why did it end up becoming so popular? I played the demo but didnt really find it as enjoyable as people make it out to be.

If this topic already exists then feel free to close, and i realise the spelling error in the title Anyway I hear a few good bands are releasing albums in the coming few months including the long awaited Metallica album, and possibly Guns N Roses (If it ever actually happens). Just wondering what albums/artists you're looking forward to hearing this year.

Honest to god, Timesplitters 2 may well be the best game of its kind to grace any console. I managed to pick it up quite cheaply recently too. It's got great multiplayer and single player modes, and all the game modes keep you entertained for a good while.

Allan Rickman 8. Denzel Washington 9. Russell Crowe (Beautiful mind, nuff said) Am I correct in assuming this is limited to Hollywood, or major production actors or can it be TV too? If we are allowed to nominate those who have predominantly stuck to TV acting also then I would name David Jason as my number 10, if this isn't the case then Nicholas Cage recieves my vote.

Any chance of Transformers being in there, whether it just be the movie characters or all the cartoon ones too. You'd have a pretty wide range of faces and heels, but might struggle in terms of gimmicks and stuff.

Absolute shame. Although he is already a renowned actor, it's sad that he passed away practically on the verge of superstardom. RIP Heath Ledger

I'm loving this years installment, definitely an improvement over the others. I cant seem to find the cheat menu anywhere, is it available on the PS2 version, and how do you set attributes for your CAW's?? I'm presuming you have to gain experience in 24/7 mode with them?

Was just wondering what people's opinions are on HIM. From what i've heard they have quite a bad reputation, and watching them get booed off at Wembley supporting Metallica didn't do them any favours either. I've heard quite a few of their songs and they don't seem as bad as people make them out to be. Anyway, opinions? Any good songs?

I'm a huge Metallica fan but to be honest I didn't find the movie all that good. Some parts are entertaining and it really gives you a big insight into the band, but it can drag in parts and it's alot longer than what it should be.

Nessun Dorma is beautiful ,and it is sad news considering I have been listening to alot more opera recently. RIP Pavarotti
