I took a general Pop Culture class my first year of college and we took a day to talk about quotes and their significance in pop culture. Based on the stuff said in that class, I think this is an excellent list of quotes that had an impact on pop culture, not just cool quotes in general. As far as the Star Wars quote goes, I agree, it should definitely be here. I actually just finished up a Pop Literature class where we read a book called Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs. It basically analyzes the importance of pop culture. One chapter was specifically about Star Wars and since my prof was a big Star Wars fan, he discussed how that particular scene had a huge impact (pop culture-wise) on his generation and was probably the defining pop culture moment for people his age. Of course, he is a bit biased.

The Turtles were held captive and forced to wrestle in the Intergalactic Wrestling Federation (I'm pretty sure that's what it was called). They were given costumes and Raph's was a full body black suit. After they got back to Earth, Raph decided he liked the costume and wore it for a while. I don't know if there was ever a really good reason given other than he just sort of liked it, but he stuck with it for a while until he switched back to normal. I don't think a reason was given for that either, but my memory's a little fuzzy.

I've heard nothing but good things about Rollins' spoken word CDs, but I haven't heard them myself.

I just bought some books today and ordered a few from Amazon. Fahrenheit 451 1984 Frankenstein Treasure Island The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain The Chronicles of Narnia box set (7 total) The Book of Ralph The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe I plan on buying and reading a ton more this Summer as it is vital for my major (and something I love to do anyways).

This Survivor was okay. It got way to predictable once Lex was voted out and just sort of dragged from there. IMO, Rob deserved to win the money, but I don't really feel sorry for him. As nice as it was to see older Survivors play again, I think it's better to see fresh faces.
