I guess considering since they don't really fight back (while attempting to get away on foot/in a vehicle) if you could kill them as quick as you could, people would complain about that too. I'm ok with the chase missions, I just check on the guide to see if I have to wait to shoot or if I can do that from the beginning.

That was great. I eventually opened fire, the Patriot down the road may have been caught in the crossfie, killing the driver. It stopped in the middle of the street and the guy on the moped crashed into him, flying off onto the curb. Then I just ran over him a few times with my scooter. Awesome!

How does the scope of Saints Row compare with this game? And more on topic, I finally passed 3 Leaf Clover by calling in Dwayne's favor. Not sure if I'd like to kill Dwayne the next time through...

I remember wanting to see it in the theatres when it came out, but never got a chance. Got it a few weeks back, but haven't had time to watch it yet (Before the Devil Knows You're Dead), but I should have enough time this weekend. Has anyone seen "Midnight In the Garden of Good & Evil"?

Dang, that 3 Leaf Clover mission may just be the end of me (though I was thinking that about Paper Trail since Jacob has such crappy aim at times)...I was getting onto the north bridge (middle of the top 3) to get away. My car caught fire and got out, figured I could steal the police cruiser two cops were shooting from behind of...but it was locked. And Derrick died. Dumbass! And it sucks that you can only carry 5 grenades for the mission. Going to try again later.

Sorry for bumping this, but is there any way of having two profiles use the created characters (with gameface) when only the main profile is hooked up through Xbox Live? I remember hearing it was possible. But every time I try, both characters are under my profile. GRRR!

Waste not want knots was horrible for me. Took me far longer than Snowstorm. And then on whatever try it was, I went straight through. Helps if you have full health/armor and let the goons do most of the shooting outside.

Thanks...up to the Dwayne/PBX choice now. I figure I'm doing the "right" things now, then second playthrough go with the evil ones.

What are the choices you have to make in the game? Kill/Spare Ivan... What else? That's the only one I can remember choosing on so far...

Turismo + airport x ramps = rolls. I went to the airport and got a 4 or 5 star wanted level.... Maybe it's achieved in multiplayer.

The last car given by Little Jacob (not the rusted piece of shit) but the green car with big rims...is that available ever again? After much crashing the engine stalled so I couldn't store it in the parking space. If not, I will just make a point of saving the car in my second play through.

It'd be cool to see actual WM setups in the game, or at least arenas, since some have been used more than once.

How much does it cost when you die and are taken to the hospital?

Though I'm far from beating the game still, from reading the ending spoilers I have an opinion, which I may change once I get to the ending... Spoiler: Click here to viewFor the "Deal" ending, as described, yes loyalty and respect mean a lot, unless you've killed the people that gave you a choice to let them live. And a lot of movies/stories in this genre don't seem to have "happy" endings...for example Scarface and Carlito's Way. Again, my opinion may change once I've experienced these endings, but if the dude's a criminal (albeit one that seems to have a conscience at times) I find it acceptable that both endings have consequences for the main character. Lesser of the two evils perhaps.

There are gas tanks you can shoot in the far room (before getting to the one with two people in it).

The other one that comes to mind (though I haven't played GTA III in ages) is the park in front of the TW@ internet cafe in the first island. Isn't that where you meet the dirty old cop (voiced by Robert Loggia) in GTA 3?

I think I saw the apartment building where you meet up with Asuka, and I think I've recognized some of the apartment buildings in the first island (the ones in GTA III that were by your first safe house, where the train tracks went over the corner of the building). Not sure if the second island has that parking garage close to the bridge, as I haven't been driving much there yet. Haven't gotten to the third island, so I can't comment.

Snow Storm wasn't so bad, thanks to the boat (still takes a bit to get out of the radius, given the police boats). Originally had some trouble on "No Love Lost" because I kept crashing the bike into the lamp post (which shot me upwards to the beams supporting the train tracks...pretty awesome visual). Right now, Brucie's race can talk to my ass.

I guess it was that far back...I never played it on PC, but the Saturn had it. Back in the day when I ran 2 plays for the entire game. Still...if that was part of the game 11 years ago, no way it can't be incorporated again.

I think there's another achievement that the remaining special characters like you more than 90%. Not sure if I'm confusing that with something else.

I did the 6 star achievement, got gunned down coming out of the train station on the next island. That search radius is immense.

Hadn't heard of it...but I'd still watch it. Is it on DVD?
