I love this game. I can play every of the regular songs on expert except for frankenstein, cowboys from hell and bark at the moon.

Does anyone here (who is old enough) actually play poker in casinos? I've taken my initial $100 I set aside to play poker and turned it into $800 so far with 4 trips. I play a 1/2 NL game in foxwoods and it's pretty easy to make money there. Playing in a real casino is so much better then playing online.

I don't know whether it's round robin or single elimination but if you remember in kazuya's story in t4, it says that kazuya's opponent for the last round before the finals didn't show up (jin) and he could move onto the finals. So it seems like there are rounds in which you have to fight a specific person.

My deal is that when I'm talking about the story, I tend to talk about what is official, ie what namco has written. I'm not big into the whole what if scenarios. Anyway, if I was annoying you, I apologize it was not my intent to do so.

out of curiousity, this has nothing to do with the story, wouldn't giving me a warning for arguing about the story even though I said I wouldn't anymore be an abuse of your powers? What rule would I have broken to deserve a warnining? edit: and by the way, I'm not bitching, I just tell things the way I see them.

His point is that you can't possibly be a serious (online) player and not know whether your hand is good relative to what's out there without a tool telling you what the odds are. Unless you're playing for big money, the quality of players is pisspoor just because most people will bet with any two cards. I really don't see how spending money to get something that tells you what you should already know is a good investment.

Ah, but you need the devil gene to be able to use Ogre's powers, that is made clear, so if my belief that Jinpach is controlled by Ogre is right, then Jinpachi WOULD have the devil gene, if it was the devil, then Jinpachi still has to do with the devil. I personally think that it must be dying that activates the devil gene in the family, Kazuya was thrown off the cliff - perhaps he died and then made the deal? Jin was shot - the devil was then activated. Jinpachi was already dead - he was controlled by a devil oriented power.

My point is that this tool is not worth paying for if you are serious about poker. But if you are new to poker, I can see why some people might want this but it will eventually become useless.

I believe a serious online player would be able to figure out the strength of their own hand without this tool.

But the devil supposedly has to strike a deal with the individual, which clearly indicates that he forecefully took Jinpachi, so going by your and my combo, Jin is a question mark, I still think his was 'activated' by that night in the forest when his arm got burnt into that logo and because his father accepted, it is down to his fate.

I'm sorry, but if you cant tell what your outs are against possible hands you are up against then that's pretty bad. As for the odds that you will have the best hand in the end, that I can see someone not knowing the actual math but even so, you can judge the strength of your hand based upon what possible hands are out there. All in all, I'd have to say the program is not worth money.

Or it could be possible that the devil added the devil gene kazuya's genome. Which would explain why heihachi doesn't have the gene but jin does. Note: This is only an idea not official So who knows, we will never get an explanation from Namco

bleh, why bother playing if you are going to have the program tell you how to play the hand. This program is for people who don't actually want to play poker.

unless it can actually read what cards the opponent holds, what makes it any different from what the odds calculator at cardplayer.com does? edit: on a side note: I doubt any major online poker site would allow such a program, especially if it can read what cards your opponent has.

So you were close, incidentally, I still have not figured out why Heihachi lacks the devil gene, the Mishima clan seem to have it and are able to 'activate' it when in contact with the beast, but Heihachi seems to have skipped a generation, seems he's the black sheep, no pub intended to those who understand genetics.
