w00t, I finally beat Freebird on hard. Now onto expert mode.

How sweet it is to be a cowboys fan right now I've been telling people that the cowboys had a legit chance to beat the Colts but no one believed me (not necessarily on this board). So I've got two words for all you cowboys haters: COWBOYS WIN!!!!!!! (You thought I was going to be cliche here didn't you? )

Maxi is my favorite character. He's stronger in three then he is in two but in two he has some more deceptive stuff. In two I like playing Yoshi a lot. He's alot of fun to play and really good.

You've got to be shitting me. You think the mortal combat games are better than the tekken games? Thats laughable. The tekken games are actually much more techinical and complex and deeper then any and all of the Mortal Kombat games. Let me guess, you're just in it for the blood and gore right? Only someone who knows jack shit about tekken would even say that its gameplay engine is crap. I can actually back up my arguement if you'd like.

Just a matter of practice really. As a side note, I finally beat Misirlou to get to Freebird today and I prompty got owned by the solo from hell.

Took me awhile to get used to using all 5 and then moving my hand up and down the neck of the guitar. I started on hard because there were only 3 licensed songs in GH1 that I couldn't beat on expert so I thought I could handle hard and I was more or less right.

As a pre-caution, when I got the game I started career mode on hard. Glad I did, I passed every song up to carry me home and madhouse, and then I got owned (though I did beat psychobilly freakout and laid to rest) I'm not sure what my favorite song is yet, this requires more playing I this game so much, while I prefer listening to some GH1 songs more, the songs in GH2 are more fun to play overall to me.

Yeah because between the missed holds and the trip on ARE you were robbed. Just fuck off already and take a defeat on the chin.

The Cowboys got fucking robbed. The skins did not deserve to win that game.

All 3 games of the shadow hearts games are good.

Bonnar got owned by Evans (though not Silva-Leben owned). I was really shocked to see how quick Leben got his ass beat.

The way I play most fighting games on a pad is by using my fingers rather than my thumbs. It makes hitting multiple buttons easier. like if I want to hit square and triangle at the same time or x and circle at the same time I use my index and middle fingers rather than trying to hit both of them with my thumb Also using my fingers rather then my thumb allows me to buffer multiple buttons.

I know there are little things added, and it isn't just the same old game recycled, but since I'm not as in to fighting games as some people are, little things like wall push and wall combos don't really mean fuck all to me. It's just a preference thing.

I don't how you could say after two that its the same old recycled game. Game play wise, in each tekken following 2, new features were added that added depth and strategy to the game (tech rolls and tech traps from 3, wall push and wall comboes in 4, tag in TTT, crush system in t5 etc). The tekken series continues to add new features to itself that keep adding to the overall fun and depth of the series.

Other than I love Rock and Roll, take it off was one of the first songs I could play pretty easily on expert.

I'm still trying to master hammer ons and pull-offs, the long strings of them still give me trouble.
