I believe Artest should be gone for the season. Hes pulled too much shit not to get the maximum here. He should have been the better man and let it go. Stephen Jackson should also get the max because he punched someone out that wasn't even involved. As for O'Neal, id be leniant on. He was protecting a fan from getting at his teammate. The guy could have had a knife or something for all he knew. He'll get like 4 games. Wallace too should only get 3-4. He had an incident on the court and that was it.

Apparently, Ben Wallace threw a punch at Artest. I didn't see it but thats what I heard from somewhere. He'll be gone for like 3-4 games and thats it. They'll say the time he spent suspended from figuring it out will be punishment enough. Stephen Jackson is likely to get sued. He hit a guy that didn't even do anything. Artest will likely have charges filed on him as well. Anyone know where I can find a clip of it?

Suspensions have been handed out. Artest, Stephen Jackson, Jermaine O'Neal, and Ben Wallace are all gone indefinately. All 3 should recieve very lengthy suspensions and Artest may not even be back this season...

I am a HUGE Tigers fan as I was born in Detroit and have been to many games. I marked out when they signed Percival because that shows how committed they are to the cause. I wouldn't worry about a payroll though. The guy who owns the Tigers (Mike Illitch) also owns Little Caesar Pizza and the Detroit Red Wings. Both franchises make him more than enough money to pay for the Tigers. They have great young pitchers so I dunno why they'd want to bring so many more in. I can see Percival though because hes an awesome closer. They really need 2-3 more bats. The pitching may help them stay in games but without the hitters, they cant win ballgames. Comerica Park is a pitchers park though. I went to like 20 games 2 years ago and I only saw maybe 10 homeruns the whole time. It used to be even worse.... The Tigers Come Alive in 05 BABY!
