There are still some pretty good ones but sadly I feel like an era was over when George Strait hung up his boots and guitar
There's still a few good country artists, they just don't get any air play. And I think Strait is still making music, he's just not touring anymore.

When country artists try to be poppy. Needs more twang.

And the Elliott appeal is going into it's third day of debating.

Can soccer ever be as big in the United States as it is in the rest of the world?

Are NBA players allowed to veto trades. If not, why not? Having to potentially uproot your family from one coast to another with basically zero notice seems terribly unfair.
They can refuse to report to their new team, however. Happened to the Jazz in 1997/98. Traded for a center from the Heat but he refused to report. The guys that we traded went down to Miami, practiced with the team, I believe even set behind the bench for a game, and then the traded got reversed because the other player refused to come to Utah.
EDIT: It was actually with the Magic. Read a little more about it. Supposedly, the guy had a hurt foot and the Jazz pulled the trade off the table. But, still, he had 48 hours to report to the Jazz and never did. So, a player has 48 hours to report to his new team, and if he doesnt, the trade can be called off. But it rarely happens.

Don't worry, in a few years he'll get tired of not going to the playoffs and retire in his prime.

27 million per year, being reported. The NBA is laughing at this.

I don't even get into those arguments, its all irrelevant.
I love Eli, I've seen him lift two Superbowl victories in my 11 years as a Giants fan so any semantics about his quality mean nothing. Aaron Rodgers is statistically the greatest QB ever but only has 1 ring. Would Green Bay fans trade his stat line for another? Of course they would. The game is about winning and this fascination about stats, fueled by people who care more about fantasy football than football is ridiculous.
Is Eli the best QB? Not even close. But he's good enough to win, never gets hurt and is unflappable against pressure. Its just so much more than stats. Tony Romo is statistically the better QB for example but he's sat in the booth ringless while Eli starts his 200th consecutive regular season game.
He can throw as many picks and be as goofy as he wants, he's given me so many memories. That's my QB
And at the end of the day, isn't that what matters? He's won championships and provided his fans with tons of memories, both good and bad. Is he the most talented ever? By far, no. Will he hold lots of All-time records when he's Done? Probably. But he's won two Super Bowls, both against one of the greatest dynasty's ever and to me, that makes him elite.
-
One of the biggest arguments I've ever been in was me saying that Eli Manning was an elite QB. I kept saying that with his two titles he was. Everybody else kept saying he wasn't because of his stats. If winning matters most, than Eli and Flacco are both elite.

#1 Pick 2018 Draft: New York Jets -
Man, I know I didn't have the best draft and I reached a few times, but Yahoo is way harsh to me.

The Jazz roster is weird. Greg Ostertag and Derrick Favors? No Bryon Russell? No Boozer or Memo? Still would be fun to play with a line up of Stockton, Hornacek, Malone, Gobert, and Eaton.

I think it's a great trade for Boston. They weren't gonna resign Thomas, Kyrie will resign there, the pick and Crowder were expendable.

I think it's great. Irving is better than Thomas, having Hayward means they can get rid of Crowder, and it's not like they needed another top 5 pick from the Nets.
-
Big rumor that Cleveland is going to trade Kyrie Irving to Boston for Isaiah Thomas and others. When it happens, I think that outs Boston over the top.

To me, it looks like he was aiming right for his leg. He was looking at it the whole way, threw his arm and shoulder into it, and followed through. He should have either aimed for both legs or just wrapped him up and brought him down that way.
-
He's being called out for hitting dirty by a bunch of players on Twitter. It's an easy hit to make. Wrap up his legs and bring him down, don't throw your shoulder and one arm into one of his legs. Especially a preseason game.
-
Just a cheap, dirty hit. Looks like he threw his arm into his leg too.

Ha. The first time I clicked on it, it said the tweet was unavailable. Now I see it.

Fake? I'm not seeing anything anywhere else about it.
