Maybe because Gates and Philips have been there forever, are seasoned pros, and probably want to see their friend inducted? Anybody who is playing in the NFL should be allowed to see their old teammates get such an honor, regardless if they have a new coach and a new system or not.

Because they'd have to miss practice for it. Both guys have been in the NFL for ages - skipping a practice isn't going to hurt them. Conversely, Bruce Arians was more than happy to let Larry Fitzgerald skip practice to go see Warner go into the Hall.
Yea, thats idiotic. Gates and Phillips don't need to be there at practice. But also...why is the NFL or an NFL team scheduling something during the ceremony?
-
Why? That makes no sense at all.

Good thing I don't play a lot of stealth games. I am definitely not a stealthy player.
Game: Hey, you can play this entire game and not kill anyone
Me: Kills everyone in sight!Same here. I never could play Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. It would give me three bullets and I'd use all three on the first bad guy I saw.

I would still take him starting for the Niners over whatever crap we have now.

Got an Ultimate DDP for the log in bonus. Got 3 days left until my first WM33 fusion finishes. Also got a HD Charlotte from the log in bonus, which is awesome cause I accidently put my fourth best diva into the fusion chamber last week.

At this point, I don't think Kaepernick will ever be signed.

Thanks for letting me join. Had a pretty crappy season of fantasy last season in the other leagues I'm in (even finishing second to last in one I'm the commish of). So I'm looking forward to a bounce back year and showing y'all what this rookie gots.

I need an Xbox one.

No idea, honestly. Just came out today on Google play and I haven't had a chance to download it yet.
-
Does it count with Favre tho? Cause he retired, then unretired to join the Jets.
-
Why are we not talking about the Cowboys player who injured his nipple when his nipple ring was pulled off during practice?

If Irving is traded before the game comes out, would he be the first cover athlete to change teams after being announced? Or will they just change his jersey?

Has anybody played the Skyrim: Legendary mobile card game yet?
-
I can work with tenth.

Got an Ultimate Cesaro from the Fuison chamber. Decided to drop him right back in and get my first WM 33 card from the fusion chamber.
-
I wonder how that could play into the college players should be paid argument.
-
@The Big Bratwurst looks like your Blazers just managed to trade away Crabbe. It's a miracle!
-
Is it really that surprising tho? You're wearing a helmet, you're getting hit over and over, and you're expected to just man up and keep playing. I would be more interested to know what positions those players played.
It really sucks because outside of totally changing the game, there's nothing that can be done about it.

So...whats that spell in Harry Potter that can make a building invisible? That must have been what happened, right?

I don't think I've struggled to deal with a "celebrity" death like this.
Same here, man. I've been saddened before but nothing like this.

Derrick Rose is gonna sign with the Cavs on a one year deal.
Cleveland needs to do the right thing...trade Kyrie to the Jazz in a three team deal that will get them Melo.
-
Yea, I highly doubt they will recast Steve Rogers. But turning Bucky into Captain America? That I can get behind.
-
I could see them having Bucky take over the Captain America for a few movies, then maybe Evans might want to return, or going in a different direction with the character. But, I don't know if it would work in a single movie setting. It would probably be in the team up movies.

It still amazes me every time a player retires a few years into his career (this time before it even started), due to being worried about their health. I'm happy they're making that decision for themselves, but it took you that long of playing/watching/living football to decide that it's too dangerous and could ruin your health?
