  1. I think the difference between super teams now and super teams in the past is the way they have been formed. In the past was mainly trades and drafting. Now a days it's more players choosing themselves to form these super teams. And while I don't agree with it, it's the way the NBA works now. I think this Finals has the potential to be one of the best ever.

And we've all seen that super teams are beatable. Just look at the Lakers/Pistons from the early 2000s.

  2. Managed to pro both SS Joe and SS  Cena today. Also started leveling up the elite Brock Lesnar from my log in bonus a few days ago. Would love a HD pro or another SS when we win the TBG tomorrow.

Hopefully one day they implement a challenge TBG. Would be fun to do Vipers vs. Hitmen.

That Spurs team honestly had no business being higher than an 8-seed. It's a lot of old guys, role players, and LaMarcus without Kawhi. He transforms the team into one that can make the conf finals.

I don't care who is on his team, but I'll never count out a team coached by Gregg Popovich. Kawhi was obviously the heart and soul of that team and they wouldn't be where they're at without him, but Popovich can pull more out of roleplayers and old guys than anybody in the history of basketball.

  5. Yea, now it's all rainbows and sunshine.

I wasn't much into computer gaming until the mid to late 90s. I started playing consoles, starting with the atari and the NES probably in the mid 90s. So I missed out on all that 8 bit wars. Not that I would have even been old enough to understand any of it.

  6. I'm watching Atari: Game Over on Netflix. It's the documentary about them digging up the worse video game ever, E.T. After seeing some game play of the game, I realized that I owned that game as a kid. I remember hating it and thinking it was stupid and impossible. I don't remember what happened to my Atari collection, but I wish I still had.

  7. I guess it all depends on how you define Most Valuable Player. To some, it's the best player in the league. In which case, it's Lebron every year. And if you think that, why even have an MVP award? It's usually not that hard to figure out the best player. Or would that just be the most popular? Should we do it base off jersey sales?

Or is the MVP the player that means the most to their team. Would Cleveland still have made the playoffs without Lebron? Probably, with Irving and Love. Would OKC make the playoffs without Westbrook? Nah, they would just be mentioned as a team with no future at all. Would Houston make the playoffs without Harden? Nope. Be at the bottom with OKC. To me, those two are the MVPs. They busted their asses all season long to take their teams to the playoffs. Did LeBron? Not really. He was rested, took other games off, Pretty sure that at one point, he even admitted that he didn't about the regular season, it was just about the playoffs to him. That's the main difference I see between him, Jordan, and Kobe. They never took a game off, they always wanted to win, no matter if it was the playoffs or regular season. I don't see that with LeBron.

  8. Finally got a HD diva from TBG last night and it's Alexa Bliss. Quite happy with that. It pushed my ranked deck up to HD and got a HD Tyler Breeze as my free pull. A few pulls later, I drew a HD Samoa Joe. Got a second WM Sasha Banks from RTG this weekend, once I can get her leveled up and pro'd, it'll make a nice addition to my RTG deck. Also working on leveling and proing the SS Joe and Cena I got last weekend.

  9. Westbrook and Harden deserve co-MVPs.

I'm more interested in who wins the defensive player of the year. The NBA has had a trend the last few years of being a year late with it. Green deserved it last year over Kawhi. But Gobert deserves it this year. His impact on the defensive end was what lead the Jazz to 51 wins. Green has a big impact for the Warriors but they would be just as good without him. If Gobert doesn't win it, he's robbed.

Gobert also deserves most improved player too, but that might just be my homer side speaking.

  10. If Hayward is only after money, he can still get more by signing with Utah. The big rumor I'm hearing now is him signing a 1+1 for next season, than if he makes an All-NBA team next year, opting out and resigning for the super max. Just a rumor, like I said, or just hope from Jazz fans. I hope it doesn't make a difference to him and he'll resign with Utah for a max deal.

George, on the other hand, I think he's out of Indy no matter what.

  11. Rudy Gobert was five points away from making first team All-NBA. Pretty excited to see him getting the recognition he deserves. Hayward only got 27 points total. I understand the NBA is loaded at small forward but man, thought he would get closer than that.
