  1. Well, I've never heard Debra, but the other two were good choices. The Righteous Brothers>All other male singing duos who don't play instruments. (Too bad Bobby Hatfield died from doing too much coke. ) Next time try Witchcraft (one of my favorite Frank Sinatra songs). And if you're a fan of old-school country, try I'm Lonesome I Could Cry.
  2. Hey, don't be knocking the first Mortal Kombat movie. The first one was great! (Its easily the best movie based on a video game.) Lets look at reasons why the second one sucked (although, I do agree the directing was awful, but its not the only thing to blame): 1. They killed off Johnny Cage, who was my favorite character in the first movie. Linden Ashby was so damn bad-ass as Cage in the first movie. (Good news is, he's coming back as Johnny Cage somehow for the third sequel...if the damn thing actually gets made, that is) 2. The guy who replaced Christopher Lambert as Raiden sucked ass. Mainly because he was completely wrong for the part. 3. Most of the characters from the newer MK games either didn't appear at all, or had what amounted to `blink and you'll miss it' cameos. 4. Too much goddamn focus on Liu Kang. Robin Shou is a passable actor and a good martial artist, but lets face it: Jax, Johnny Cage, the new Sub Zero, or even Sonya Blade would have all been better choices for the focus of the sequel. 5. The final battle was complete garbage. 6. Not enough special effects, since it had a lower budget than the first. MK NEEDS special effects. I hope they add some of the new characters from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, particularly the blind guy with the telekinetic powers and the winged vampire woman, to the third movie, or put them in a fourth if they make one.
  3. *Joey Styles* He is homicidal, genocidal and suicidal. He is..... Sabu
  4. I'm trying to find a good Christina Aguilera CAW, from the Dirrty video. (Just the face) I had one that was dead-on perfect, face-wise, for SYM, but the ones I've found for HCTP are far from perfect. One I made didn't look anything like her at all. Why do I need one? Simple: I've got a female tag team made up of twin sisters I created for SYM that I used a Xtina CAW as the basis for, and want to re-create them in HCTP. Unfortunately, one of them will require a new hairstyle, as they didn't put the hairstyle I used for her in HCTP. (They have the same make-up, but different hairstyles and clothing - one has slightly darker hair - and I gave them the good old #7 music and the DX ring entrance. )
  5. Its too bad that Arnold Schwartzenegger is Governor of California now, because I think it would've been cool to have a swerve at the end: One Alien and one Predator are fighting it out - either because they're the last ones left alive on the planet, or as a compromise where whichever one wins, their side wins the war. All of a sudden, Arnold appears, armed with a big ass machine-gun and dressed in camo. Looks like he's playing his character from the first Predator movie again. The Alien and Predator both go after him and manage to grab him, and the Alien drips acid all over him....which eats away his flesh, revealing a Terminator endoskeleton! Arnold dispatches both of them, and the bad news is, its an evil Terminator, like from the first Terminator movie, NOT one re-programmed to guard John Connor! Either that, or they fight it out in a city, only for the victor to be blown away by....Robocop!
  6. In the video, she has on several different outfits, with different wigs (NOT her hair dyed). And the red wig is regular red, NOT red like on a true redhead. So she looks like an anime character, or something like that.
  7. 8.1 or 8.0, but it didn't have much more in it than 7. And when I downloaded it, there was a separate .dll you had to download to get it to work, but the file wouldn't download. (Could still view the pics in a paint program and the .txt files in Notepad, though) I get my CAWs from the site Kaneanite posted, Neoseeker, GameFAQs, and an EzBoard. Had a website called Smackology bookmarked that had a lot of good CAWs, including several different Great Mutas, but the site closed down recently (and I didn't copy the formulas for the Muta CAWs. ). http://pub86.ezboard.com/bjustbringitworld - Yes, its named for an older SD game (the third one?), but they have CAWs for SYM and HCTP, too. And they're separated into sections. http://www.neoseeker.com/Games/Products/PS2/wwe_smackdown5/ http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/gentopic.php?board=35778 Check the discussion boards at Neoseeker and GameFAQs for a lot more CAWs.
  8. Personally, I think Ashlee Simpson is ugly, but looks better as a blonde. But I agree Britney Spears looked damn good with black hair in that video. The red hair look was crappy, but that might've been because of make-up that went along with it. The best parts of the video are her in that glittery catsuit in the all white background, though. And I hate Everytime, or whatever that newer BS (appropriate initials, don'tcha think?) song is called.
  9. In no particular order - I'm just posting them as I think of them: 1. Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison 2. Back In Black - AC\DC 3. Bringin' On The Heartbreak - Def Leppard 4. 18 And Life To Go - Skid Row 5. Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash 6. All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix 7. Iron Man - Black Sabbath 8. Friends In Low Places - Garth Brooks 9. Enter Sandman - Metallica 10.If I Close My Eyes Forever - Lita Ford and Ozzy Osborne 11. Don't Fear The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult 12. Real Folk Blues (End Theme to Cowboy Bebop) 13. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry - Hank Williams Sr 14. There's A Tear In My Beer - Hank Williams Sr AND Jr 15. More Than This - Roxy Music 16. Freebird - Lynyrd Skynrd 17. Bulls On Parade - Rage Against The Machine 18. She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy - Kenny Chesney 19. Behind Blue Eyes - The Who (Limp Bizkit's remake = meh) 20. Welcome To My Nightmare - Alice Cooper Songs I almost put down: Kokoro, from the PS2 game Xenosaga Die Hard The Hunter, Rock Of Ages, Foolin', and Animal - Def Leppard Ride The Lightning, Sanitarium - Metallica Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice November Rain, Sweet Child O' Mine, and Civil War - Guns N'Roses
  10. There are only two songs I can stand to hear sung by Britney Spears: Toxic and Stronger. (Lucky would be a good song, if someone else sang it)
  11. I wish you hadn't reminded me of that goddamn crap cover, which I blocked out of my mind a long time ago. Dolly is someone who should BE covered, not DO covers. One of my cousins is a huge Collective Soul fan. I've never asked him if he's heard her version of "Shine" or not. I'm afraid it would drive him nuts, if he didn't already know about it. I'd love for Lita Ford to come out of retirement and do a metal version of "9 to 5".
  12. Jimmy Cliff is one of the few reggae artists, other than Bob Marley, that I actually like. Shabba Ranks (I think that was his name) was pretty good, but I don't know if he's still around anymore. And there was some female Reggae artist I liked back in the late 80's-early 90's I liked. I think her name was Petra or Patra. She was more of a Reggae rapper, but she did sing, too.
  13. What server do you play on? I don't play (I would, if I had a better video card and more memory), but I *might* be able to hook you up with some allies.
  14. Unfortunately, most of the pics I've seen of her do look pretty bad. The one of her at Launch really sucks. Most them were taken at bad angles or in bad lighting, I think. Ransik, if you have a Yahoo e-mail account, go log in (Launch is part of, or at least run by, Yahoo), then go to http://www.launch.com and look up her video. All you have to do is look at videos by Genre, and it should be one of the first few country videos listed. (It was about 4th or 5th when I last looked) Unfortunately, I can't use Launch myself right now. I need to update my Windows Media Player or its drivers, or something.
  15. The e-fed I'm in is starting back up in September (closed for a few months because a few players quit and the owner had some work related problems that kept him from being able to run the fed for a while): http://dhw2.0catch.com/main.html If you look at the roster, I'm Blacken Blue and Takahashi Chono. You might be put off by the fact that its a supernatural e-fed (a lot of the wrestlers aren't exactly human), but normal humans have an equal chance of winning. Use of powers are mostly kept to RPs, or matches where all the wrestlers have powers. There's one guy on the roster who has won a lot of matches, and he's a normal human. (Well, if you consider someone who is kinda insane a `normal' human....) For the record, Blacken Blue is a Highlander-type Immortal who also happens to be a sorceror, and Takahashi Chono is a dragon in human form. (He has only transformed into a dragon on one occasion, but he does breathe fire a lot)
  16. Sounds like Gretchen Wilson. She's got a song out called `Redneck Woman', and yes, she is HOT!!! (If you use Launch, you can see the video there. http://www.launch.com )
  17. Bad weeds, bad weeds! Whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for yoooooooou?.... Crops is filmed on location with the co-operation of the men and women of the DEA and the U.S. Agricultural Department. Just imagine....a show that features everything from helping a cotton farmer deal with an infestation of Bol Weevils, to search and seizure of pot plants, to chasing drug runners carrying Bolivian Marching Powder through the Florida Everglades. They could even do a special April 20th episode with special guest Rob Van Dam, who looks on in horror as DEA agents destroy tons of pot plants before his very eyes!
  18. Questions for anyone who watches the cartoon (I quit after the first two seasons): 1. What happened to Misty? 2. What's the deal with Ash's new hat? Did he get it for winning a contest, or did his old one get destroyed, or something? 3. Are the other two members of Team Rocket (Butch and Cassidy, I think they were called?) still around? 4. Who are the two new kids that follow Ash and Brock around, and what Pokemon do they use?
  19. Worst movie I've ever seen in theaters? Beetlejuice. Or Masters Of The Universe. Worst movie I've seen on tv\cable\PPV\video rental ? Toss-up between Super Mario Brothers or just about anything with Steven Segal except Under Siege. Steven Segal makes Jean-Claude Van Damme look like Sir Lawrence Olivier. If you stare at a can of orange juice because it says `concentrate', you might be a redneck.

    Clue

Dr. Pepper in the Gym with a Ham Sandwich! Seriously, though, Clue's a pretty good board game. I don't own a copy, but have played it several times. So I wouldn't be all that surprised if it does become popular again. Ever seen the movie, by the way?
  21. ESPN did a poll yesterday about which player you'd rather build a team around, Kobe or Shaq. Shaq won with over 60% of the votes (something like 64.5%, I think) I agree. If I was the Lakers' owner, I would've done everything to try and get Shaq to re-sign, and told Kobe not to let the door hit him in the ass on the way out. Kobe = Over-rated.
  22. Other. Norman Bates from the Psycho movies. (And I'm talking Anthony Perkins, not Vince Vaughn from that godawful remake)
  23. There aren't any White Castles down south, as far as I know of. Down here, we prefer Krystals. Any White Castle that opened up down here would be out of business in a month. Krystals>White Castles
  24. I'm also skeptical. I haven't watched the past few episodes (I think last Thursday's episode was the last one I saw - I usually watch the Law & Order re-runs on TNT, unless its an episode I don't like or have seen a lot of times), but there was one episode where he hit the buzzer a little too fast on a question. And it was a fairly hard one. Incidentally, on one episode, the $64,000 Question was one of the answers. At any rate, I'm sure the 5-time limit will be back next season, if Ken Jennings is legit.
