  1. Nope. I'd love to see Liger in his other outfits, but so far all I've seen are a few different versions of his normal red and white outfit. (That is, the same outfit done by different CAW creators) I think there are also some of his alternate outfit - the stripped-down outfit with no shirt and a mask where his eyes are visible that he wears when wrestling heavyweights - but I don't remember where I saw them at. I'd like to see one of Liger from the match he had with Muta in `96 where Muta ripped off Liger's mask and he had facepaint on (wouldn't be possible to do the bodypaint, though).
  2. Amen on both accounts. I always thought Pearl Jam was waaaaay over-rated, and still can't believe people wore those bracelets. I Love The 80's>I Love The 90's, though. (Because more goofy shit happened in the `80's)
  3. Its already out, and went direct to video. Saw it at Wal-Mart last week.
  4. I'm glad they managed to keep Ralph Garman as the host. His new look\disguise is interesting, and his accent is fairly decent. At least to me, anyway. I'm not digging this season as much as the first. I saw just about every episode of the first season, but I've skipped a couple so far this season. Can someone PM with what the swerve was at the end, please? I was out of the room, and didn't get back in time.
  5. Meh. I'll wait for the Winter Olympics. Because I can't wait to see another figure skating pair get screwed by a corrupt judge, and because Curling>J00.
  6. If Shaq's reasons for wanting the Lakers have more to do with being lied to than Shaq's ego and his problems with Kobe, like he's claimed, that's fine. If Shaq wanted out simply because of his overblown ego and the fact that he can't get along with Kobe, then I hope Miami has the worst record in the NBA every season he plays for them. I see Rudy Tomjanovich as more of a transition coach than anything, but who knows? He might surprise me. And I'm not surprised at what's happened with the Cavs. They're one of the worst run organizations in the NBA, in my opinion.
  7. Meh. I'd throw in Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Stormy from Sealab 2021, too. :thumbs-up:
  8. Dr. Zoidberg>J00 That scene is in the new commercial for Futurama that they're airing on Cartoon Network.
  9. The damn quote button isn't working again! thuganomic: I'm sure that there are plenty of American League teams who would be willing to take him on as a DH\backup Outfielder (that is, he DHs but goes into the Outfield if needed). CM Punk: I understand why the Reds signed him, BUT....I happen to be a Reds fan, and I was saying that I didn't want them to sign him in the first place. I sat in front of my tv and watched the press conference, and let out a big `OH, HELL NO!'. I thought at the time, and STILL think, that even had he been 100% healthy with no trips to the DL, they would have been better off spending the cash on pitching. I still sort of like Griffey, but NOT when he's on the DL all too often, and I think he'd be better off back in the AL.
  10. *sigh* I wish the Reds would wise up and trade him. I never wanted them to sign him in the first place (they needed pitching more than they needed him at the time), and its hard to justify paying him the kind of money he's making when he's on the DL as often as he is. The Reds might have made it to the World Series, or at least the last round of the playoffs, by now if they had spent that money on pitching and a semi-decent outfielder instead of Griffey. Problem is, he's likely got a no-trade clause in his contract, and his contract doesn't run out for a few more years.
  11. Incidentally, I don't know about Europe or Japan, but in the U.S. FFXI came with the PS2 Hard Drive. I want the Hard Drive, but don't give a damn about FF XI. (May buy it and put the copy of FF XI on eBay or something....)
  12. CONAN O'BRIEN, MOTHERFUCKER! Seriously. `In The Year 2000', `Secrets', and `Preparation H Raymond'>J00 Incidentally, I have the same birthday as him. April 18th.
  13. Prepare to get owned by Aces High, muthafuckas!
  14. Michael, I'd definitely suggest giving Star Wars Galaxies a go. A lot of people in my Everquest guild quit to go play SWG, and the players who play both say SWG is really fun. (I've even been thinking of trying it) Plus, they're supposed to be adding an expansion later on that will add space combat to the game, and you'll even be able to get your own X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, or Millennium Falcon (and other people can board your Millennium Falcon, if you let them) - may have other ships you can get, as well. Supposedly, it'll work with a flight stick, but you won't need one if you don't already have one.
  15. Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt(Rumored & Not Denied) Male: Elmo Female: Canola Julia Roberts & Her Babies' Daddy(Twins, Boy & Girl) Male: Jethro, Heathcliff Female: Maude, Violet Marc Anthony & Jennifer Lopez(Rumored & Denied) Male: Paco Female: Louise Liv Tyler & That Guy From Spacehog Male: Popeye Female: Olive
  16. I've heard a lot of bad things about FF XI. Apparently, there are a LOT of griefers (players who try to kill off other players or get other players killed) running around in the game, and its monotonous trying to gain skills and change character classes. (I've also heard the same thing about griefers in Lineage, or whatever its called)
  17. My recommendations (all PS2 - I don't have an Xbox): War Of The Monsters. Tekken Tag Tournament or Tekken 4 (both Greatest Hits games) Mortal Combat Deadly Alliance (also a Greatest Hits game) First of all, he said no RPGs, or I'd have recommended Xenosaga, which Riceman 4k did. Second of all, I have to disagree with getting Morrowind for the Xbox. Morrowind is a good game, but if you're going to get it, PC is the way to go. There are a lot of good player-made mods for it that you can download for free online. (One of my favorites added magical arrows and shuriken, and another let you use two swords at once)
  18. One of the best acoustic guitar players I ever heard was Michael Hedges. He did a really killer acoustic version of `All Along The Watchtower' that blew me away. Unfortunately, he died several years ago, but I don't remember what from.
  19. No, because there are a lot of players who played just as long and had better batting averages. Just because he holds the record for most hits does NOT make him the best hitter. (This coming from a Reds fan, btw) I'd take Rogers Hornsby or Ted Williams over Pete Rose any day.
  20. "I've only got one thing to say to you, Vaughn: Strike that motherfucker out!" The two worst Bond movies were the ones with Timothy Dalton. The Living Daylights and License To Kill. License To Kill strayed a bit too much from the formula, and Dalton reeked as Bond. (Yes, I'm actually saying George Lazenby was better as Bond) Btw, I'd go with The Natural. Major League seems to be on cable somewhere every other month, and TWINE is my least favorite Pierce Brosnan Bond movie. (I haven't seen Die Another Day yet, though) P.S. Go rent Mr. Baseball, if you haven't already seen in.
  21. The Gamecube is more oriented toward kids, unfortunately. Nintendo needs to pull their heads out of their asses and start producing games WITHOUT Mario or Donkey Kong in them. I have a PS2, and wanted Godzilla Monster Smash Melee. They made it for X-Box and Gamecube, but not the PS2. Fortunately, I've heard the sequel WILL be made for PS2. (The only reasons I'd get an X-Box are DOA3 and Halo)
  22. Pete Rose Richard Petty I just want to say that the lack of a baseball player in the HoF greatly disturbs me.
  23. Simply amazing! As for the reliever who came in and blew the game, I can only think of one thing to do with him..... Trade him to the Yankees, and hope he stinks there, too!
  24. I'm not a fan of Slipknot - like a couple of songs I've heard, but couldn't tell you the titles - but what those `fans' did was idiotic. You know what they need to do the next time they tour somewhere where its likely that a lot of death\black metal fans will show up? Pull a page out of the W.A.S.P. handbook....sort of. I'm not sure if they did it a lot, but the VH-1 special on the Top 25 Moments In Heavy Metal mentioned that W.A.S.P. threw raw meat into the audience. Well, I think Slipknot should do something similar the next time a bunch of morons like that try to ruin their show: Get as many trashbags full of fresh cow manure as they can possibly get and keep them just offstage. Then when the fans start causing trouble, just let the shit hit the fans. Literally. (Personally, I think Black AND Death metal both suck, but that's just my opinion.) Btw, do the members of Slipknot wear their masks all the time, like KISS did with the make-up before taking it off back in the 80's (thank God they put it back on!)?
