I'm sure there were more plans for him down the line possibly as Midnight Man, but yeh, I guess they may have re-edited after he passed?
Overall, as a big MK fan, I really enjoyed it but agreed for such a grand storytelling of a character and backdrop, it could have done with another 2 episodes to flesh it out a little more. Oscar Isaac just smashed it and I'm really hoping we get season 2 down the line that gets 10-12 episodes to really explore him more. -

Surely favourites now, no? I'd have put West Ham to win it, but Cresswell fucked it for them.
Van Brockhorst deserves some real recognition. He has saved what could have been a disaster season. Wonder if Gerrard's regretting his decision to leave now.
I doubt it, he's got a decent project on now. He's probably immensely proud that the team he's built has gone all the way to the final.

While I was in Atlanta two week back, I was lucky enough to go see Mono in a tiny venue with about 80 other people. Truly amazing live.

Honetly given up on Atlanta already this season, so many injuries, toothless in attack, nobody is worried about us in possession. We're just a husk of the team from 2018. Not really convinced by Pineda yet either, he's still tinkering and that's a worry he hasn't nailed down his preferred way to play yet.

They used to be a decent 80's punk band starting out. I also forgot they released two albums on Metal Blade Records..

The niche you've been looking for, bands and Father Ted...

The official album chart isn't much better, the other day I found out ABBA's Greatest Hits has spent 1,000+ weeks in the chart.
The juggernaut that is ABBA is also one of many reasons why vinyl production gets delayed so much for small bands and labels, pumping out that 24th remaster reissue.

Just binged all of Severance, loved how it started out as some strange The Stanley Parable show and evolved into something really intriguing and I can't wait for more.

Ted Maul.
If you know, you know. -
Dream Widow - March of the Insane.
Dave Grohl went and produced an 8 track EP worth of metal tracks for the fake band in Studio 666. Some really fun mixes on there 'Encino' reminds me of some Strapping Young Lad, March of the Insane' is just straight up early thrash. and you've got some great sludgy grungy tracks in the mix too.

How exactly are we defining Salah as the best player in the world? I'd say it's arguable, but we can hardly do a historical stat for it. Shola Ameobi only went to one World Cup for example.
You're right to be fair, he's probably 2nd best right now, but Joël Matip has retired from international duty so won't be in Qatar.

The amount of them was ridiculous. You've sometimes seen like one pen being pointed but Salah had a full on facial of green lasers on his face as if he was at a rave
Should be a rule where they just award them a scored penalty for it. It'd stop pretty quickly. For those that haven't seen it:

FYI the album Daphne and Celeste put out in 2018 was genuinely great.
Lordy, I remember seeing them get bottled at Leeds Festival in 2000, what utter carnage.

As someone who has a fair few mates on the UK comedy circuit, some who have been threatened, I think it kinda does. Reacting with violence because your offended by a joke is setting a poor tone.
-
The joke was in poor taste, but Smith's response was equally poor along with his weak excuse in his speech. Doing that on live TV just sets a tone for anyone to be a Will Smith now and physically assault a comedian if they don't like what they hear.

Last night I finally got to go to a gig in Vienna having lived her for 20 months, fantastic show with Conjurer and Celeste. Highlight was 15 or so ladies of a certain age walked into the venue whilst I was chatting the Conjurer boys at their merch table. I thought to myself, "wow, the crowds in Europe are really wide ranging!", until one of the ladies heard us speaking English and asked "I'm sorry, is this the show for Celeste? The British soul singer?". Had to break it to her that it was sadly for the French black metal band Celeste, but they should hang around and see if they like it. 😂

So sad. My thoughts go out to the band and especially Dave, so much tragedy on his career that he's had to experience. As much of a machine as this band is, i honestly question if they go on from this, or at the very least go on a long hiatus.
Time to spin some records and enjoy the memories.

It's truly scaring to think how good Atlanta would be if they had any proper person running the football side of things. I loved Boca as a player but he's clearly terrible at his job. Atlanta are mediocre in spite of him.
They are the FO is fully behind him, Felipe Cardenas did a big article on him for The Athletic with ex players and how they didn't want to leave and whatnot and how he's been instrumental in the exodus of players. The the FO tried to smear campaign Felipe for the article. Really quite disappointing.

Just started Yellowjackets, loving the Lord of the Flies type set up it's hinting at in the first episode.

That's really neat. Interesting after years of being rivals with New York and Philadelphia and New England that DC has sort of pivoted to being a southern team now. Very much in line with my experience living in Maryland.
I don't think the teams we follow in my house - DC and Montreal - have particularly rosy seasons ahead of them. Playoff berths and early exits feel the ceiling for both.
I think DC were invited as more of an 'Original South' historical link for the US, plus they needed a 4th team and as many folks in the south say "Florida ain't the South".
Having lived in Atlanta for the first 5 years of the teams existence and being a season ticket holder, it's still a big rebuilding process there now and I often find the current lineup still so alien to me, having Bocanegra dismantle the MLS Cup winning team, I feel they really still need a general in the middle to do the amazing work Darlington Nagbe did just controlling the play and supporting the backline. Until they get that order it's still a bit messy in midfield and teams are exploiting it. -
A new 'Kings of the South' fan cup has been developed by some of the SG's of Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte and DC, their take on the Cascadia Cup, end of season whoever tops the mini league gets the belt. I got the honour of designing it and I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person in a few weeks when I fly to the US for the Charlotte/ATL road game.

I don't think that draw could have gone any better for Liverpool. Happy days!

Finally started the Snowpiercer TV show, burned through all of Season 1 and really enjoying it, the film was ok but didn't have enough time to really get into the finer details, which I'm glad the TV show is doing more.

Ever had that night where you wake up and everyone is sharing videos from the amazing gig you missed? Yeh, all my friends at Avail/Hot Water Music in Atlanta, wish I'd been there big time.

Must be tough giving up on winning the Champions League at 21. Unless he's just following in his dads footsteps to experience what it's like to get relegated from the EPL whilst being at City.
