  1. *Dirk Nowitzki runs out during a Steve Nash vs. Michael Finley match, and wacks Finley with a steel chair. Nash recovers the referee and makes the cover on the bloody Finley. Nash and Nowitzki raises each others hands.* Dirk Nowitzki's overness has risen 2 points due to his turn.
  2. Everyone these days have the same movesets. That's probably why rosters aren't as big as they used to be. Heck, does Gene Snitsky even have a trademark move? How about La Resistance? Orlando Jordan? WWE is depressing now-a-days.
  3. I heard Phil Jackson might come back and coach for the New York Knicks, if Isiah gave him the option. I think Jackson might be the one guy who could turn the Knicks around. They have the talent that they could trade for a true big man and not one who takes jump shots all the time.
  4. They stopped playing. If they would have been playing all game they would have scored 140-150 points.
  5. Suns starting point guard is now Leonardhiro Barabosa. [sounds like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle to me...] Bulls are hot again. Grant Hill is actually playing near the All Star Break. The Mavericks are relying on a sophomore for most of their defense. Rumors of a lockout next year? Summary: What the hell is wrong with the NBA?
  6. Rams @ Seahawks Vikings @ Packers Jets @ Chargers Broncos @ Colts
  7. I don't like George Bush. That's pretty hard living in Texas, but when you say stupid things like "Is our children learning?" it's pretty hard to like him. Bush should have never been our president, as he lost the popular vote in 2000. Bush hasn't done anything that gives me a reason to start liking him and he's had four years to do something.
  8. AL West seems like it will be the place for the action. Angels, Rangers, Athletics and now Mariners. It will be a great race.
  9. Dirk pwns the NBA, just as George Washington pwned the British.

I'm thinking about getting the castle set. Looks pretty awesome. .
  11. Man: Michael Moore Woman: Kou J Kouerson
  12. Mavs are awesome so far this year. Erick Dampier is what the Mavericks have needed for a long time, and who's this Steve Nash character people keep talking about in Dallas? All I know of is Devin Harris and Jason Terry. w00t.
  13. At my Gamestop they get everything ealier beacuse they're one of the top selling Gamestop's in the country. We also got Madden 2005 about three days earlier. It rules. Anyways, I'll probably wait and get this game for Christmas. I have gotten Smackdown 2-5 (I think five was the latest) so I'll probably get this one, one way or another.
  14. Western Conference 1.) San Antonio Spurs [southwest Division Champions] Brent Barry is going to give the Spurs even more depth. I see this team winning sixty five games this year. 2.) Minnesota Timberwolves [Midwest Division Champions] The Big Ticket still has his MVP title, and I don't think anyone is going to stop him from winning it two years in a row except himself. 3.) Sacramento Kings [Pacific Divison Champions] Nothing has kept this team from getting on top of the West in years past, and if Webber can stay healthy, the Kings could be alot better than they have been in the past. 4.) Houston Rockets [southwest Divison] Yao + T-Mac is going to own ALOT of teams in the NBA this year. I just don't think they're good enough to catch up with the Spurs yet. 5.) Memphis Grizzlies [southwest Divison] Pau Gasol just keeps getting better, and you can't forget about Jason Williams, who has been a great point guard for awhile now. 6.) Denver Nuggets [Midwest Divison] Carmelo Anthony got K-Mart this year, and Nene is coming off the bench. Marcus Camby is down low at center, giving the Nuggets one of the best center/power forward rotations in basketball. 7.) Dallas Mavericks [southwest Division] I can't see the Mavs not making the playoffs this year. They made some changes, but so did the rest of the West, and they actually got better unlike the Mavs. 8.) Los Angeles Lakers [Pacific Division] I was debating about putting Utah or Los Angles here, but I still think Kobe will be able to carry this team to the playoffs. Brain Grant, Caron Butler and Lamar Odom were also on a playoffs basketball team last year, so this team shouldn't lose scoring from Shaquille O'Neal, just the presence. Eastern Conference 1.) Detroit Pistons [Central Division Champions] You can't go against the defending champs. Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace will once again rule the league, and finally bring a little prestige to the East. 2.) Miami Heat [southeast Divison Champions] Shaq Daddy has returned to Florida. Although the Heat lost three of their top scorers, Shaquille will probably average about 30/15 at center this year. I think Dwyane Wade will be the next Penny Hardaway (primed)/Kobe Bryant playing along side the Diesel. 3.) New York Knicks [Atlantic Division Champions] New York is one of the deepest teams in the leage and it seems Isiah Thomas can't make a bad move. I've heard rumors of Vince Carter to New York, but I think the Knicks are A-Okay with the team they have now. 4.) Indiana Pacers [Central Division] Indiana is going to have a great year, but I think Detroit will edge them out for the East title. Jermaine O'Neal is going to be great and Reggie Miller is still around, giving Indiana a great perimeter threat. Don't forget about former Defensive player of the year Ron Artest. 5.) Cleveland Cavaliers [Central Divison] LeBron James learned alot about basketball this year in the Olympics, and no matter how much I hate him, he's a good basketball player. Losing Boozer is a big hit, but Gooden is a great replacement. Eric Snow should add to this team some depth. 6.) Boston Celtics [Atlantic Division] THERE'S HOPE BOSTON FANS! With the addition of Gary Payton, Boston could have one of the deadliest 1-2-3 positions in basketball with Payton/Pierce/Davis. That is, if they can keep their egos in check. 7.) Chicago Bulls [Central Division] I like the Bulls this year. Eddy Curry is still developing into a monster, Kirk Hinrich is back and healthy, Loul Deng and Ben Gordan are going to be great. This is a excellent young team and could see a championship in five to six years once their players develop. 8.) Toronto Raptors [Atlantic Divison] If Vince Carter stays in Toronto, I like this team. Rafer Alston and Chris Bosh can cooperate this team could capture higher than an eighth seed. The 'X' factor here is Jalen Rose and if he can compete at his level. East Playoffs Detroit def. Toronto, 4-1 Miami def. Chicago, 4-0 Boston def. New York, 4-3 [Look familiar?] Cleveland def. Indiana, 4-2 [East surprise series] West Playoffs San Antonio def. Los Angeles, 4-1 Minnesota def. Dallas, 4-2 Denver def. Sacramento, 4-3 [West surprise series] Houston def. Memphis, 4-2 Division Championship Detroit def. Boston, 4-1 Miami def. Cleveland, 4-2 San Antonio def. Denver, 4-3 Minnesota def. Houston, 4-2 Conference Championship Detroit def. Miami, 4-2 San Antonio def. Minnesota, 4-1 NBA Championship Detroit def. San Antonio, 4-3
  15. Well, preseason has begun and it's almost time for the NBA to get back to my television set. After a long saga between Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'Neal the Los Angeles Lakers are basically a whole new team. Detroit added another good big man in Antonio McDyess, and the Miami Heat made the biggest offseason move trading three starters and a draft pick for the most dominate force in the NBA, Shaquille O'Neal. Kenyon Martin gives the Denver Nuggets another chess peice to make a second straight playoff run, and Phoenix reloaded getting Quentin Richardson and Steve Nash. Dallas mixed things up again, finally getting some defense with Erick Dampier, Jason Terry and Jerry Stackhouse. Houston looks like a top tier playoff team adding three time scoring champion Tracy McGrady to their lineup to accompany seven foot monster Yao Ming. And also this year will mark the second Charlotte franchise in just three years, with the Charlotte Bobcats loaded with Emeka Okafor with all of his five Olympic playing minutes and some WNBA-look-a-like jerseys. Possible the most dissapointing point in the offseason was the USA Men's Olympic basketball team not winning a gold medal. Props for their suckage. Anyways, let the general talkage begin!
  16. Astros winning over twenty straight games at home. Darn that luck. 'Stros versus Sawx, 'Stros in seven, because the curse will live on.
  17. I edited in the league ID#.
  18. League Name: 36422 Password: hooraybasketball The draft will be on Sunday the 17th, and will take place in an AIM chat room. I put the maximum of teams allowed at 12, so be sure to get your spot. So what are you waiting for? Go sign-up. Now.
  19. 893, you have to have the local network package though. I think. I think most of the WB shows come on ABC Family though.
  20. I have to read White Fang for my English class. It's not that bad, but I really don't like reading.
  21. I'll have my mom pick these up, just to save a bit of my dignity. .
  22. This is crazy, just go play the game in Japan. .
  23. I figured it was fake, but I didn't know for sure. The fact that it was on ESPN was the only reason I thought it could be real.
