Is there any point to doing the training? The whole thing seems very tedious to mel, but if you don't do it then you end up losing OVR points...

Got the game last night after I played in a tournament to get the game for free. I'm pretty much a Madden Freak and I played 05 up until a few days before this came out, and I'm still enjoying this a bunch. The vision cone is different, and sacks will happen sometimes. I'm finding that if you stay in the pocket more, rather than dropping back a ton, you'll have more time to get the throw off. Make your pre-snap reads and find the open man, turning off the cone will just be your loss as it really adds a challenge to the game. I play online a bunch and so far I'm 4-2 with both my losses being tough ones. If anyone wants to play sometime, my AIM is ErikBN3012 and my EA gamer tag is ErikBN3012 as well.

To tell you the truth, from what I've heard of the album is pretty good. There are some real corny songs on there, but for the most part it's pretty good.

It seemed like 2004 just ran a lot smoother. The running game was actually realistic, and you were able to pass more than two routes in the game. In 2005 the only completable routes were streaks and crossing routes. The Homefield Advantage Feature was alright, but it wasn't that great. The best addition to 05 was the matchup stick, but it really didn't matter that much. The stuff in 06 looks great so far, they're adding a lot of new stuff. The most important part is that they're polishing the gameplay to make it more playable.

Personally, I thought this year's game was MUCH weaker than last years. The homefield advantage is alright at first, but gets lame very quick. And I second the comment about how hard it is to complete a pass. I played the game for about four seasons, but it really got boring when the only passes I could complete were streaks and slants.

First of all... I must say that this game is sweet. I'm playing an owner mode season with the Royals (worst team in the game... what the?). I've only made about two trades. I traded #3 pitcher Brian Anderson for Tony Womack since the team needs some speed. I've traded some guy who was bitching about not getting PT on the big league squad for a prospect at 3B. My record is about 26-27 I think with Eli Marrerro and Ruben Gotay each hitting around .340 and everyone else below .300 or barely over. I sim/manage about half my games, and it keeps things pretty square stats wise. It's kind of strange playing in such a tiny stadium, and I imagine it's going to take a LONG time before I get too many upgrades since my payroll is tiny, and they predict I'm going to lose around 7 million this year I guess. It's kind of sweet being able to make your own ballpark though, no complaints from me.

Yeah... good movie. It was real, real creepy and it makes me want to go read the graphic novels. Frank Miller is the guy who put Daredevil on the map with his writing in the 80s(?). I saw Tarantino and him were both working on this and I figured I had to go see it. Also, while watching the movie I noticed how some characters' eyes had color, while others not. I was curious if any of you guys knew the significance of it.

I just noticed someone posted some of the screenshots from the upcoming Zelda games and they look hella sweet. My friend has a gamecube, and I played a few games on it, but I never got to finish Cel-da. Anyways, I noticed on ebay that I can get one for decently cheap. Is it worth it to get one so I can play the Zelda games and whatever else? Also, are there any other gamecube exclusive games that are worth buying?

Speaking of this game, I remember playing a game like it, except it was on Dreamcast and the Computer. It was called "Typing of the Dead" you typed the words/sentences and killed zombies. Now that was a fun time.

It's alright, but it's really weird. It's fun just to mess around sometimes though.

I want to know about Gran Turismo. I'm not a big car guy, but racing games are fun as hell I think.

Meh, my worst beat(s) happened a few days ago. It was like a $45 84 person tournament. I'm playing great... I'm at about 3,000 in chips when the average is 1200 or so. I get pocket Kings under the gun, I raise a small amount... I want some action. Then someone goes all in behind me. With Kings, of course I'm going to call. He shows me pocket 5s, giving him approximately two outs. He flops another 5. My stack was decreased by about half. A few hands later, I'm down to about 900, and I get kings again. Someone raises before me, so I go all in. I get called by K Q diamonds. The guy FLOPS a straight. 9 10 J all in a row. It was unreal, and the worst part is that both guys after they won said "LOL! Too funny!" It's not that funny you lucky piece of shit.

Uh, Rapper's Delight by the Sugarhill Gang. It's about 15 minutes long, and it's the best rap song ever made.

George Carlin played the hitch hiker who taught Jay and Silent Bob the ropes about getting picked up. He said they had to give oral sex to get a ride... haha.

I play some Madden. I find that it's a lot more fun to play in online leagues since you don't have to run into the bullshit cheese and whatnot that you do in the east rooms. Pretty much anyone you run into that's ranked top 100-200 will use the disconnect glitch on you or run some other cheesy crap. BTW, my online name is either ErikBN3012 or ErikBN3013

Meh, I got it in the middle of December. I played it a ton, but I haven't got enough money to pay for 15 bucks for another month... I really need a job.

I had Mario RPG, but I got stuck in the sewers and could never get out...

Hmmmmm, I've already played and beat Earthbound and it is indeed a great game. I have yet to play the Starfox for SNES though, so I might have to look into that.

I've recently found a good place to buy old SNES games for very cheap, and they have just about every game you can imagine. Anyways, to the point, I'm looking for some good games that would be able to keep my interest for a while. This also gives us all a chance to reminesce about the old games we used to play.

I play more home games, and I'm not gonna bother starting a real money account online. The best I finished in one of those free rolls was 2nd, and that's because I had to sit out so I could go to work. Best I've finished in real life was 1st place in a 24 person tournament, cashing out with 60% of the pot, aka 144 dollars.

I think she's pretty hot myself. Black hair is definately better than blonde on her though. Well, I think I like girls with black hair anyways.
