  1. March 2005 in the US, not sure about the UK. Well that's what the massive advert perched in the corner of Times Square said when I was in New York last week.
  2. Report back here guys about how it goes for you, these testers will help out when it comes to running larger online comps.
  3. Just caught up on all this guys and I'm up for it as well. Should be an intresting experience. EDIT, When it comes to team selections for the World Cup/Euro one it could be an option for the person running it to randomise the selection process.
  4. I have been wanting to see the Eye for a while now, I really must look into it further. If you want some intresting paranormal television I would check out Most Haunted TV DVD's. You might have to import them from the UK but this is a real life paranormal program.
  5. *SPOILERS* --- -- - In the Ring 2 Samara is supposidly able to kill her victims without having to wait seven days, this was either briefly mentioned or hinted at at the end of the first film or I read it somewhere. I am not sure if they are going to run with this but it could be intresting to see how it plays out. This movie should be good, I can't see how it can be anywhere near as bad as the Japanise sequal, that was horrible.
  6. Yeah I find the bigger the challenge the longer I stick with the game. I keep going back to my current Wednesday game when before with Chelsea I was only playing to win the league and become champions of Europe. The first happened on goal difference and the second didn't happen at all, but intrest was lost anyway. I always like the challenges though and Sheff Wed is a difficult one. Esp when you can beat Fulham (who were relegated) 3-1 one week and then lose to Derby 4-0 the next...Once I have completed my goal of making them Prem champions, thats when I will probably get bored! But thats a few seasons yet...
  7. Well I managed the impossible and just finished in 6th in League 1 with Wednesday after we hit a run of 13 games unbeaten. And then completed the beyond impossible and won the playoffs to get into the Championship... And then done the impossible again and won the opening game against Burnley 2-0. I am pretty much in shock how much better they are performing of late. And I've only brought in 3 players: Les Ferdinand, Keith Gillespie and Paul Dickov. The transfer issue about wasting 45 mil on Kaka doesn't surprise me. When you are a Prem club you are more likely to splash out more transfer money due to the high standard of the football. But when you play as a lower league team you can scower the free transfers and Premiership rejects. I've only spent £6,000 of £100,000 and thats on Dickov. Much more fun to be a lower league club.
  8. Angelina Jolie and Kym Valentine, preferably at the same time, but hey one at a time I could cope with.
  9. Sheffield Wednesday are the most difficult and frustrating team I have ever played with. All the players get unhappy pretty easily and its difficult to get a run with them. Normally Wednesday win a couple then draw and then loose a few. This has resulted in me chasing the playoffs and currently being 6 points behind... Its frustrating because just when we have a chance to catch up we always seem to come a cropper to lower down teams like Luton and Doncaster. Thank God it's only February and theres a few months left before the end of the season... Heres my current team anyways: (4-4-2 Def) 1. Lucas - GK 2. Stearman - DR (£150,000 from Leicester City) 3. Heckingbottom - DL 5. Branston - DC 6. Lee - DC 14. Nalis - DMC (£16,000 from Leicester City) 24. Marsden - DMC 8. McGovern - RM 16. Mikalajunas (Free Transfer) / 20. Brunt - LM 10. Peacock / 9. Ndumbu-Nsungu - FC 12. Adebola (£9,000 from Coventry) / 15. Junior Agogo (£3,000 from Bristol Rovers) - FC Just managed to sign Keith Gillespie and Les Ferdinand on frees for next season however in preparation for my squad reshuffle come June which excites me a tad.
  10. I managed to draw against Liverpool 0-0 at home in the FA Cup and missed a couple of chances to win the game from point blank range. Then went away and lost 5-0 in the replay at Anfield. Including being 3 nil down by fifteen minutes into the game....:cries:
  11. I lost 9-4 to Doncaster in my Sheffield Wednesday game. Horrific result for a team in the bottom 3 in the league to do that.
  12. Us Leicester City fans must be more cultured we always seem to treat our team worse than the visitors! We chant, "You don't know what your doing!" - to Micky Adams "You're shit ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" - to out Keeper and boo over and over when the game reaches half time or full time. - or we even get overweight Neil Lennon lookalikes to invade the pitch and attack or players. Like the tango man except just orange on top.
  13. My fav show is the one with the computer game simulation in series II. Red Dwarf is absolutly awesome!
  14. I'm currently having a go with Sheffield Wednesday in an attempt to get them back to previous times. 7th in the league currently after twenty games and I have just drawn Liverpool at home in the 3rd rd of the FA Cup...should be good!
  15. 1. Slipknot - Vol 3. The Subliminal Verses Close call between this album and "Archetype" to the top spot, but Slipknot just delve into previously unknown ground with this record - and make it work to an even higher level than what they have ever done before. Best Song: Vermilion 2. Fear Factory - Archetype With such hits as, "Slave Labour", "Cyberwaste" and "Archetype" this album could have been top five material with just those songs. This album redefines Fear Factory with a new controlled agression and an overall addictive sound. Best Song: Slave Labour 3. Drowning Pool - Desensitized The shift between lead singers (RIP Dave) and styles has worked with Drowning Pool producing this decent album. This is not the same Drowing Pool as what produced and wrote "Sinner" but it is at the listners discretion as to which album is better. Personally its a close horse race in my view. Best Song: Step Up 4. Breed 77 - Cultura When I first bought this album, I disliked it. No, I was very annoyed with how over-hyped I had made it in my own train of thought. When "La Ultima Hora" and "River" came out I expected even better from the album...well the majority of the songs aren't that but add to the great Breed sound which makes them the band that they are. Best Song: World's On Fire 5. Damageplan - New Found Power Great album. Great album. Great album. All that I can honestly say about this great album. Best Song: New Found Power 6. Soulfly - Prophecy Not the best Soulfly have produced but is still a fine album which will appeal to the Soulfly Tribe. The beginnings with "Prophecy" and the simplistic but addictive rift of "Living Sacrifice" lead on to an album which is very decent. Best Song: Living Sacrifice 7. Seether - Disclaimer II Disclaimer II is a great album. The songs aren't spectacular or really intelligently written - but they sound good, and even better after a few listens. From the emotional "Broken" to the guitar rift heavy "Sold Me" this album doesn't really stretch the boundaries with content. But hell, it's good for what it is, and good to listen too. Best Song: Fine Again 8. Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder Papa Roach returned after "Infest" with this album which leans towards the Punk side of music. "Getting Away With Murder" the song is one of my most memorable of the year while the also memorable chorus' from other songs make this album worthy to be in the top 10. Best Song: Getting Away With Murder 9. KoRn - The Greatest Hits Seeing as it is a complilation of previous songs from previous years it doesn't figure too highly. However the covers of "Another Brick in the Wall" and "Word Up" are top quality. It could be said though that some classic KoRn songs were missed out from the record, "Faget" being one example. Best Song: Word Up 10. Jimmy Eat World - Futures Jimmy Eat World produce this decent album, although their style of music is not my best taste the songs are really good. "Pain" sticks in my memory. Best Song: Pain
  16. 1. Ill Nino 2. Sevendust 3. Slipknot 4. Korn 5. System of a Down 6. Queens of the Stone Age 7. Soulfly 8. A Perfect Circle 9. Stone Sour 10. Spineshank
  17. Fuck, just last week me and my mate and work were talking about him and how he was going to get a Dimebag guitar for christmas. This really does suck, what a fucked up way to go. Rest in peace Dimebag Darrell
  18. For once Leicester get an easy draw in the cup! Maybe this could be the year we add to winning the league cup twice in four years and manage to get the FA Cup...ok I am dreaming, wake me up when we are at the Millenium Stadium someone
  19. I love the league cup, Leicester have won it twice! And good on Watford for getting so far as well
  20. Sevendust Songs: Tits on a Boar X-Mas Day Follow Angel's Son Denial Broken Down Seperate Honesty Papa Roach Songs: Time and Time Again Blood Getting Away With Murder Done With You Sometimes Tyranny of Normality
  21. I wasn't going to invest my cash anyway I decided in the game before I saw the review, but it just cements my decision now anyways. Disappointing to put it mildly.
  22. I'll get it in a few weeks once I am rich again, fucking god damm car insurance.
  23. My Tragic Music Ill Nino Soulfly System of a Down Korn Stone Sour
  24. 1. War? 2. Know 3. Sugar Pure and simple, the first album just owns.
  25. It hasn't been a bad year but it could have been better. The only album I really have listened to a lot which was released this year would be Slipknot's Vol.3 (The Subliminal Verses), Green Day's album had too much hype to live up to despite "American Idiot" being in my view the best single released this year. Goldie Lookin' Chain have also caught my attention but apart from that I can't see much else which I really enjoyed. Albums from Seether and Papa Roach were meh while Saliva's "Survival of the Sickest" was enough to make anyone sick literally. If System of a Down get round to releasing their new album this year I might have to reconsider but it has been put back and put back so who knows when it will surface?
