  1. I really need to get into Tool pretty quickly, they've been on my list for a while. Although I already love the greatness that is A Perfect Circle. It would be sad if this signals his end to either, or both bands although you have got to respect peoples decisions.
  2. Yeah he is brillant, I am actually feeling really happy now with that result. And I bet you Villa guys must be as well. Double Celebrations for the Midlands! Jesus Graeme Souness doesn't look at all happy! Awesome!
  3. our 17 year old defender Richard Stearman, then Connolly scored a pen and Mark De Vries scored a header...and he just hit the post! Wow, unbelievable!
  4. 3-1 LEICESTER...ooh sorry, Villa thread right? Great performance from you guys today, this is going to be a great win because Newcastle aren't the easist team at all. I can't wait to see MOTD either, Bowyer and Dyer what a bunch of wankers.
  5. The Ring twO - 8/10 I went into this movie with an open mind, or an attempted open mind seeing as I am a massive fan of the entire "Ring" franchise. That goes all the way from the Japanese originals to the American movies. Firstly, I hated Ring 2 (the Japanese version) because it in my view added absolutly nothing on the original and wasn't scary - it just didn't have the scare factor. So I went to see this movie quietly confident that because it was totally new it should allow the original mistakes to be removed. Well it did, and although it wasn't perfect, I did really like it. But starting with the good this movie was freaky, it had spots where I wasn't sure I actually wanted to look at the screen...and then when I decided to keep watching it made me jump. The deaths in this movie look a lot more horrific than in the original...the corpses faces are taken to another level and make the scare factor get increased. Especially with the directing from Hideo Nakata - which focuses in on the faces at "scare" points to good effect. It had a lot of people jumping into the ceiling, and I even heard some screams from inside the cinema when it happened. Another big plus of this movie (without going into too much detail) was the buildup to the conclusion. It was just brillant, although when we actually got to the ending it did feel a bit too much and did feel even to happen too quickly. Despite that I did still like it, although this feeling of confusion about if I actually really liked it or not is odd. The nice twist of Samara's real mother was also good in the whole event of things, I had actually forgotten the Morgans had adopted her (despite the fact it was mentioned in the original). The final and biggest plus for me about this movie would have to be Samara. Her character development is nothing short of amazing. But you'll have to check that out to see. Ooh and there are some cool scenes in this movie, I keep thinking of more and more positives...now that's gotta be a good thing! There are a few negatives however which bring this movie down. The main line of the entire film was comedic, it made the entire cinema burst into laughter. It seemed bad to make a horror movie like this have such a shit line as the main highlight. Moving swiftly on I didn't like the new location too much, it felt out of place to me - although I don't think that would be a factor to anyone else. Finally the middle of the movie, while doing its intended job, did seem to be very slow and lagging. I was checking my watch then before it got into the build up to the conclusion. Overall, this gets a very solid 8/10. This is a movie for fans of the Ring, and I don't think they could have done much better in many areas. It felt good to watch it and I highly suggest it to anyone. Go see this now!
  6. We all know the real midland team is the almightly City...and no not Birmingham. Up with the Foxes!
  7. I'd do her, and then again, and hey! third times a charm. I don't care if shes annoying, I would still fuck her
  8. I hate how for the third year running West Brom's chairman has decided to slash my wages budget. I made them 15 million profit last year and all I ask for is 250 Thou to have for wages - cause thats about the limit I can work to with a few cuts here and there. But this year I have 180 Thou...so fuck them I'm 90 Thou over with 270 and they will have to lump it.
  9. Thanks for all the help guys, got a huge list to check out now although I have already checked out Nonpoint, 36 Crazyfists and a few others - good stuff so far. So thanks again And I'd better check out Ra especially if they are that good.
  10. Very nice to hear a Villa fan say that Sorry to say I still don't like your team though... Although we both know Birmingham City are the real enemy...
  11. Hey guys, I need some bands suggested to me cause I want to listen to some new stuff while sticking to what I like. I like metal, nu-metal and rock mostly. Just to help you guys out some more here is some bands I am really keen on. Anything along these musical lines would be most apreachated. Ill Nino, System of a Down, Damageplan, Dry Kill Logic, Korn, Mad Capsule Markets, Nothingface, QOTSA, Sevendust, Soulfly, Slipknot, Spineshank, Static-X, Stone Sour Also specific songs for me to look into would also be good.
  12. I can't wait to see the Daleks flying... ^_^ *Marks out*
  13. Her boyfriend was shocking in that episode. Not sure if he was acting like that or if he just plainly couldn't act - but he sucked. Billie wasn't too bad while I thought Chris Ecclestone was very good at the Doctor role. Good episode as well, I'll definatly be watching this series.
  14. My WBA game is going from strength to strength. I have now done the double over Man Utd following a 3-1 win over them at the Hawthorns. I've had an 11 game unbeaten run also and have played some really good football. 28 Games into the league in total with just 10 left, I'm only seven or eight points behind last seasons total in 12th place - and in the middle of a group of teams seperated by three points. So I could possibly slip to 15th or even head into 9th before the end of the season. Anything else would require some more consistant performances - which I have lacked since my unbeaten run. My squads changing already for next year, but a lot of that factor was because my wage budget got slashed midway through the year. So, Albrechtson, Maccarone and Robinson have all left to free up 50K of wages. While Emmerson Boyce has come in to fill a defensive void and Hugo Viana is set to join for 500K in the summer from Newcastle. Also I have agreed a contract with a striker called Garcia from Barcalona - he's got 20 on finishing. Most enjoyable game since i've bought Football Manager, still really getting into this.
  15. West Brom have a good transfer budget anyways, around 3 mil I think. And I offloaded a bucket loads of players that weren't needed and raised a hell of a load more money.
  16. The main thing is he had a bloody good season. Performed better than Russell Hoult could have done, and I still made over half that money back on selling him anyways. Walker's an underated keeper anyways, always has been underated. He's only remembered for his bad patch last year in the Prem with us, but apart from that he's solid.
  17. Meh I'm still gonna go and check this out, I actually enjoyed Halloween 9 when I went to see it in the Cinema so chances are I will like this.
  18. Fucking ave' it just beat Man Utd 1-0 at Old Trafford with the Baggies! Using a 4-1-4-1 defensive formation with Counter Attack works a beauty. When we counter attack we leave five down the back and have five guys charging forward passing between each other. It also helps my team are awesome at beating offside traps. Absolutly awesome.
  19. Got a West Brom game going right now, just entered the second season and just managed to survive religation (17th) - although we played so well all season it was a surprise when I checked the table in March to see how close to the drop we were. Just entered the second season and got two losses and two wins, so a good start - midtable. Here's the guys I have brought in: Ian Walker - £3.3 Million from Leicester City Paul Konchesky - Free Transfer from Charlton Andy Van der Meyde - £2.2 Million from Inter Marco Streller - £450,000 from VfB Stuttgart (Now worth £4.6 Million) Lee Bowyer - £1.5 Million from Newcastle Paulo Vernazza - £190,000 from Watford Titus Bramble - £600,000 from Newcastle Christophe Dugarry - Free Transfer (Free Agent) Massimo Maccarone - £2 Million from Middlesbrough Out of all of those buys, Walker has been a great goalkeeper, Van der Meyde had a top season and was voted Player of the Year for my team, Marco Streller came in and scored loads of good goals. Paulo Vernazza was a surprise, brought in as a backup CM he worked his way into being my main CM. The rest haven't done anything special, but have been solid. My Current Squad: 1. Ian Walker 2. Riccardo Scimeca 4. Paul Konchesky 5. Darren Moore 6. Andy Van der Meyde 7. Ronnie Wallwork 8. Jonathan Greening 9. Marco Streller 10. Kanu 11. Zoltan Gera 12. Lee Bowyer 13. Tomasz Kuzaszak 14. Robert Earnshaw 15. Paulo Vernazza 16. Titus Bramble 18. Darren Purse 19. Christophe Dugarry 20. Junichi Inamoto 21. Martin Albrechtsen 22. Paul Robinson 30. Massimo Maccarone I haven't got into a CM game as much as this one for ages. I'll report back later with how the new season is going.
  20. System of a Down - Toxicity Not everyone's cup of tea sure but the entire album just goes from strength to strength as it travels through each song. Features mostly heavy political lyrics alongside some "heavy as fuck" (as Metalhammer put it) guitaring from Malakian. Serj Tankian's voice contributes to the unique sound from the Armenian group and I just love the album all the way through. But saying that it can only really be classfied as the greatest album in metal circles - or as I believe it is because I don't really listen to anything outside of that genre.
  21. Rumors have it there probably will be, and meh they are talking about having not one, but two Samaras in that one...
  22. I prefered it more because I felt the plot behind the tape worked out better in the Japanese version. An example would be how those other kids at the start died in a car in the American Version - and it was not explained. However in the Japanese version it is explained that Sadako can come through any surface with a reflection, and thus how they died in the car. However I don't really prefer Ringu over the Ring by that much, only little niggling things really.
  23. Yeah I personally don't like Metalcore but from what I have heard from that genre they are very average.
  24. That would be being kind about it, Ring 2 is the worst sequal I have ever seen to any movie. Ring 0 isn't much better either. I just pretend they don't exist to make things easier.
