But more to the point you misunderstand what he's saying, he's not saying he IS the best, he's saying he's ONE of the best. no i dont think just because their dead and have a drug problem make them look good as guitar players, but they make slash look terrible. maybe if you actually herd eruption or crazy train when randy did it then you'd see. also i never said that they were THE best im just saying that there are WAY better people then slash Christ, you sound like the guitarist in my old band. He types horribly and worships Randy Rhodes, too. lol if you were trying to insult me you should try harder. Other forums have done worse then that. Second Randy Rhoads or any guitarest for that fact is better then your whole friggin band. Maybe thats why they get famous while your probably at home playing your moms garage ....I wasn't trying to insult you. There are people on this board much better at that than I am. First, don't ever compare playing an actual instrument to playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Second, you - stop talking. If he'd been trying to compare Guitar Hero to playing guitar then I'd mock him as well, but Rock Band Expert Drums are more or less equal in difficulty to playing the real drums. So ssh. Ok, I'll grant the drums are a lot more similar to the real thing than the guitar. I just hate people comparing the video games to the real thing(which is usually done with the guitar anyway).

First, don't ever compare playing an actual instrument to playing Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Second, I'd say learn a lot of music theory too, because drums are pretty much the foundation for bands. So if the drummer sucks, everyone's going to suck. All you need to do to play basic stuff is learn the early rhythm stuff and be able to keep a beat. The fancy shit comes later.

I've been to(and been in) quite a few local shows,, but for the names anyone would know: Rolling Stones Motley Crue Marilyn Manson(twice) Slayer Bleeding Through Ours I'd also like to see Disturbed and Panic at the Disco at the beginning of next month and end of this month, but I don't know if that'll happen.

I'm not sure for my funeral, but I do know there will be absolutely nothing at my funeral that has anything related to religion. For my dad's funeral though, I'd like to sing either "The Wind Cries Mary" by Jimi Hendrix(I have an album his old band did, and he sings lead on that song), or "No Surrender" by Bruce Springsteen.

I only ever played AOE2 and the expansion for it, but that's pretty much how every custom game could end if I didn't choose to just not actually end it that early. And by "basic unit" I mean the first unit you can build. I think it was just guys with clubs.

The only people who actually try to get the previous generation around here are poor people that can't afford the newest generation. I remember several of those people coming to Hollywood Video(between 2005 and 2007) asking if we had games for the original playstation. They got mad when I told them no games were being made for it anymore.

The original Pirates! for the NES is the single most replayable game I've ever played. If I still had my NES, I'd still play it. But I just play it on my computer instead. The XBox remake was garbage compared to it. I've never understood the appeal of Age of Empires. I've always found them really boring and just..bad. The campaign missions last way too long. I never thought they did a good job explaining mission goals. And if you play just a custom battle against the computer, all you have to do is build 6 of the basic unit and attack. Game over. Every time.

Naaah. Actually, I quit at the venue outside. And I was already in another band by the time I got home. Skills. Though if I could figure out some of these music programs, I wouldn't mind doing some solo stuff just to mess around. The whole thing basically went, last night I was looking at myspace's musician classifieds, and I saw our bass player had put up an ad looking for a new singer. None of them could give me an explanation. They all just said they didn't know who actually posted the ad. I confronted them in person at the venue we were playing at, got the same run-around, and they just kept doing stuff to piss me off on purpose and wouldn't give me any straight answers, so I walked back to my car and left. They're good at playing their instruments, but they're nowhere near musicians. They have no sense of maturity or professionalism about anything. They just want to pretend to be rock stars while paying to play for 4 people without actually having the dedication to make it happen.

They wouldn't make much money when the tour only lasts 1.3 shows and all of the fans demand refunds.

Heh, I just quit my band about an hour and a half ago. It also happened to be the day of a show. Fuckers.
