I quite enjoyed the Make Poverty History concerts given that it was free, but there is no way I'm flying to Sydney and spending $99 to see the same old artists again. I really dug Live8 but I'm growing tired of the mass-scale charity concert, too many in quick succession.

If Detroit win, they get the first home game against the Ducks. If Calgary win, Anaheim get the first home game.

So I'm trying to find something explaining the road to the Stanley Cup, but can't find anything. Anaheim will play the winner of which game? Detroit/Calgary? If that is the case, who gets the first home game?

I have a message for Mirna: These people are foreign, not retarded. Stop speaking so damn slow to them. Eric & Danielle almost gave up last leg but the non-elimination saved them. Hopefully they run second, I can't stand Mirna and Smerna or Dustin and Kandice.

Damnit Anaheim, you should of sweeped. What I worry about is that they have lost every away game against the Wild this season.

With the Comedy Festival on in Melbourne, I usually check out a half a dozen shows during the month the festival it was on. Tonight it was Mark Watson and the guy is just insane. First of all was him explaining how he does his comedy (unlike most comics, Mark's low points are at the beginning and end, with the middle being good), and how he calls on audience participation without embarrassing audience members (Where you from? Brisbane. Oh I fucked your mum). It's incredible the speed the guy delivers material at, going on huge tangents on several times throughout the show while still managing to get both on topic and staying on time. Mark is also doing a 24 hour show next week which I'll make sure to catch a few hours of, because I don't think he will struggle going for twenty-four hours straight. I also saw David O'Doherty, good but not great. He said he was under the weather tho, and that could of effected it.

Sounds like it was a good show. I was thinking about seeing him in Melbourne, but the ridiculous ticket prices put me off (ditto for Tenacious D).

I thought Rehab was a pretty decent song.

So am I the only one from here going to the festival? Got my tickets today and can't wait.

Surprised that Incubus are doing festivals given their recent tour of playing at small clubs. Editors should be pretty ace tho. Saw Me First a few years back, acceptable but that's about it. Not a bad lineup by any means.
