  1. Just heard him the other day declaring loudly (as I suppose he always does) "WE DID NOT GIVE THE WORLD CUP TO QATAR TO GET EXTRA MONEY OUT OF IT!!!!!!!" Or words to that effect.
  2. I assume he meant to say if the workers in the scenario would be different. In which case, yes, the workers are from that year instead of a recent year such as 2003 in the original data.

  4. Great site iDOL, well done. I do have a couple of issues though. I downloaded iDOM 1990, which works fine but I have no clue about any of the backstory to it. Is there somewhere I can find an explanation of the world at that time? Also, The Rave-X Live 2005 data was actually included in the 1990 zip file. When I tried to run a game with that, in noted that there were 12 errors, mostly to do with people having both exclusive and non-exclusive contracts. EDIT: Anyone got solutions to either of the above problems?
  5. Well, that was a crappy performance to finish a test match. Here's how Australia stand now Katich - was not at his best, but will be a massive loss with his injury. Watson - batting OK, but not bowling very often or particularly well. Ponting - done absolutely NOTHING. Even though he's currently captain, drop him now and pass the captaincy on. Clarke - finally had a good innings, can hopefully find some form Hussey - the one batsman who really looks good. Just needs more support around him North - continues to struggle, should be dropped and given time to get back in form Haddin - not at his best, but should be able to get back well Harris - bowling fast and accurately, but having not much success Doherty - doesn't seem to be doing enough, but has deserved a chance Siddle - takes a hat-trick in Brisbane, and then goes quiet. Tough to drop him when he can perform like that on occasions Bollinger - might be injured, which would explain his below average bowling Johnson - could be the key to our hopes of winning if he can get back to his best Hilfenhaus - unlucky to be dropped when he seemed to do fairly well with not much luck. Get him back in. What I would have as the team for Perth (but it won't happen) P Jaques S Watson B Hodge M Clarke M Hussey G Bailey B Haddin M Johnson N Hauritz R Harris B Hilfenhaus 12th Man: P Siddle Jaques and Bailey are really only there because I really don't know who should replace Katich and Ponting. Hughes is an option too, along with Cowan and a lot of others
  6. Well, 9 from Ponting was pathetic, but that's only to be expected. Watson, Katich, Clarke and Hussey all went OK, so there's still a chance of a draw. Probably with rain delays, though.
  7. Very disappointing score for a 1st Innings at Adelaide, essentially a batsman's paradise until day 5. Jimmy Anderson looked deadly though. Hopefully Dougy can get us back in this one, don't see Harris, Doherty, Watson or Siddle doing much here.
  8. That was Ryan Harris I think. The last day of the match especially was completely dull. There was a one in a hundred chance that something might happen, but after we couldn't hold catches and England declaring late, it was a foregone conclusion. Hard to believe after the start of the match really. Bring on Adelaide.
  9. True. If only our bowlers could remember that.
  10. Happy that Hearts are third, don't know any more about them than that even though they're my team. Yeah, I probably should but I can't really keep up with the football code in general, let alone the SPL.
  11. Not too big a problem. Put it to 1985/1995 and just take ten/twenty years away from it.
  12. Well Katich and Watson made 78 for the first wicket, so yeah, aside from those two partnerships they would've been on top. But then in turn taking out the Cook-Pietersen and Cook-Bell partnerships as well you would probably end up with a similar scorecard.
  13. Yeah, thanks. :(

I wouldn't have a problem with it except for that he was in talks with the Bombers mid-season. In any case I would have thought it'd be better for Hirdy to have a year or two as assistant, but he was always going to get the main job.

  14. A long tail? I remember Doherty playing at 9 before, but since the other Tassie bowlers couldn't bat, it'll be interesting to see if the bats ahead of Siddle. Anyone who thought of dropping Hussey being a good idea will now surely realise that that was stupid. Hughes and Ferguson both look out of form, White and Smith aren't quite good enough batsmen, Marsh is still recovering from an injury and Khawaja has seemingly done nothing at all to deserve a call-up. Guys like Hodge and David Hussey would be the ideal option, but they're not going to get picked no matter what they do.
  15. Wow. I thought Dougy would've been the better choice over Siddle. Guess I was wrong. ^_^ Did anyone else see when they showed his 10 kph increase in speed after taking the first wicket? Never seen him bowl at 145 before.
  16. Jaime Moreno is retiring after a great career, but since I don't really follow the MLS I don't know if they'll be missing him all that much. Seeing as Allsopp and Luis Emilio are leaving too, I guess this means they'll be rebuilding their forward line. But having guys in their past like that and others such as Ryan Nelsen, Marcelo Gallardo, Fred and Eddie Pope has certainly built a great reputation and history for them.
  17. Could use this Should find one on his myspace http://www.myspace.com/antnyhenry
  18. http://s172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/ Bookmark it.
  19. TheWho has actually done that already, there's a section on his photobucket for promotion/fantasy logos.
  20. I didn't want to stretch so I had to cut it old school style I've found a better pic before, at the fow (future of wrestling) old website.
  21. November-December 2009 or later should all have them as a team.
