  1. Franklin's actually shaping up to be leading the Coleman after the Tigers have their bye despite being very inaccurate this year. Oh yeah, also, WE'RE TOP OF THE LADDER! As you were.
  2. Yeah, the Tiges might finally make the 8 this year. A lot of people are excited about Cotchin and Martin but I'm personally more happy to see Robbie Nahas and Jake King doing well. Nahas was deprived of a lot of chances by not being selected last year, and while King can be an annoying tagger and fight-starter at times, you can't doubt his passion and courage.
  3. lol Crows too actually, South Australia may as well just watch the SANFL this year the way they're going. Good game today, crap umpiring though. Hope Cyril's ok and Taylor Hunt too. Both went down with knee injuries. Duncan again provides some highlights to help the Cats win by 19 despite the Hawks being in front for most of the match.
  4. Wow, that cup must be made out of some sturdy metal to not get completely crushed. Found a good link for Corinthians video also for anyone not in the UK I don't know where it could be found, but a few years ago Jason Akermanis did a handstand on a stage and fell over, almost knocking the premiership cup down too. It's bizarre how often these things happen.
  5. Grrr..... Mooney's been playing down back and in the ruck to give Menzel, Duncan, Christensen and Stokes space, so Ottens is our only real problem unless we just snap shots from all over the 50.
  6. Can't find any good pics, best I could find is this. He's the one on the left apparently. I did however manage to find a good quality video of his debut in USWA, so you can probably take a good screenshot from that.
  7. The topic in Kirkland's post should have some more in there, but others will surely be around somewhere else too.
  8. They'll probably win one or two near the end. They really should beat Brisbane or the Kangas after their poor start. Would've thrown Port in there too but if Rodan, Westhoff and Motlop can keep up their form from the Showdown the Power could be OK. Cats v Hawks this week, probably a battle for 2nd on the ladder. Should be a good match, Scarlett, Taylor and others shutting down Buddy, Cyril and Roughead is a must.
  9. They're British. That's the only reason I can think of anyway.
  10. Most of these should be easy to find either through searching this topic or looking through TheWho's photobucket. Not at all a problem, thanks for your contribution (Y) I thought that if you just saved it as a .jpeg that might work, otherwise you might have to open them Photoshop, etc. and save them individually. Hopefully someone else knows more than I do about that.
  11. Happy to see Day and Ogilvy both doing well, very doubtful that they'll be any real chance though, but still good to see that we aren't completely falling off the golfing radar.
  12. I'd say give the top nine (including Bangladesh unless they become really poor opponents) and at least give the others a decent chance to prove themselves. Definitely not a fan of the 10 teams idea, mainly because the closest thing you'll have is a test-playing nation being defeated by a former test-playing nation. Plus the Kenyans, Irish and Dutch are always fun to watch as they battle some of the top teams despite not having anywhere nearly as good facilities or depth of players.
  13. Yeah, I'm just glad to see activity here. It just hit me today why Hunt is looking so good yet getting shit heaped on him from everywhere. Although there's the obvious points - he's a natural athlete but doesn't have the technique or stamina for AFL level just yet - he is trying incredibly hard and probably has as many one percenters and spoils as anyone else who's new to the AFL has. I'm not saying he'll ever be great or writing him off either, but he has got skill and he looks to be improving. The "full-body cramp" in the last quarter today doesn't particularly mean that he can't play at the top level either, Josh Hunt cramped badly in the 3rd term during round 1 and he's been playing at AFL level consistently for at least 7 or 8 years now. The sub idea has its pros and cons, and as with every new change, it has its fair share of detractors, One interesting suggestion put forward earlier this year was that clubs could play one ruckman in the first half and then sub him off for the other. But since nobody really wants their one fresh player to be a big immobile guy, everybody's now looking for guys like Paddy Ryder who can do some ruckwork but also fill in a key position well. I guess it's fair to say that guys like Mark Blake and Seaby could well have played their last game.
  14. Hunt's looking good at the moment aside from being unfit by AFL standards, but the rest of the Suns looked like no match for the Blues in the first quarter. Improved in the second though, and I'll call it now; Charlie Dixon to be the new Richo-style cult hero.
  15. tool damien steele :-) any help would be greatly appreciated Found Tommy Suede and Damien Steele, and I've seen Dynamite D, Carlito Montana and Jake Lawless pics before. EDIT: Found Suede, not Rush
  16. Great video, even better song.

  17. It's official now, but he's hoping for his form to improve now that he's no longer captain. He's said that it was his decision though, and his resignation wasn't forced by the board. It had been coming for a while and the loss to India made it clear in his mind what he was going to do. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps his spot in the team, so hopefully he'll get back some form.
  18. Vitaly Petrov has improved a lot since I last saw him, the guy could get a spot on the podium the way he's going. Kobayashi looks better too, and Buemi's going faster than Jaime at the moment. Should be a good race.
  19. Cats 1 point down at 3/4 time, lucky it's been a low-scoring match or else we'd be gone. Selwood carried off early and has a bad concussion, but on the positive side Mitch Duncan has 2 of our 4 goals. EDIT: Won it by one point after Dasher Milburn kicked a goal with 19 seconds left!
  20. Supposedly it's this guy, didn't know whether to spoiler tag it or not.
  21. It goes against me being a patriotic Aussie, but I'd still love the Kiwis to shock everyone and win the World Cup.
  22. I think I know his email, but yeah it's hardly worth it.
  23. We lost Gazza to the Gold Coast, our coach defected to the Bombers and we only made a prelim final last year, so some people have decided that we're done for now. Still have a pretty good team overall, but I'd rule out a Grand Final unless Enright, Corey and Ling recover some of their best form.
