  1. Li Na wins after a very tough three set match. I think what Wozniacki is lacking is enough power at the moment to get a Grand Slam when compared to the other top players, but definitely is in great shape for the future.
  2. I've seen one somewhere, try either the TEW05 default data or over at the GDS forums.
  3. They were never really up to the standard of the other 3 semi-finalists though, but we could've lost it.
  4. Nadal injured and beaten by Ferrer in 3, Murray beat Dolgopolov. Clijsters and Zvonareva also won through, and will play each other tomorrow. Really hoping that Ferrer can at least take a set off Murray as Dolgopolov did. The guy's been around the top for so long, and to my knowledge has never made a Slam final.
  5. An interesting thing I heard in an on-court interview Jim Courier had with Dolgopolov just after he beat Soderling. I think I heard that his father coached Medvedev, and as a young kid Dolgopolov had a hit with some of the other players at the French Open a few times. Courier was incredibly impressed with him then and apparently saw him as a future star. Courier asked him if he remembered who he was, and Dolgopolov replied that he did, but not the first time as he was only 3 years old at that stage, but did a few years later. If that's true, then the kid must have been really good from an early stage, and perhaps the exposure to the game from early in his life was what caused that. Anyway, Federer beat Wawrinka, Djokovic beat Berdych, Li Na beat Petkovic and Wozniacki fought back to beat Schiavone.
  6. After seeing this happen a few times on the board, I have to point out that the word is spelt "ludicrous". Not Ludacris, as in the rapper's name.

  7. Have XPW actually restarted, or did you just make up a logo for it?
  8. Murray smashed Meltzer, Dolgopolov over Soderling in 5, Ferrer beats Raonic and Nadal crushed Cilic in 3. But I think the winner of Berdych/Djokovic is the real dark horse to win the Open this year. Mainly because I'm in denial on whether Murray or Nadal can win it though. Clijsters, Radwanska, Kvitova and Zvonareva all through to the quarters on the womens side. But since no-one else here seems interested in that, I'll have to say that almost anyone on the women's side could win this, but Clijsters is still the local favourite.
  9. We do that well. Our soccer team at least.
  10. Looks great, but it could take a while to get to know the abbreviations on the menu. Still, I wouldn't change a thing. Nice one iDOL
  11. Apparently Jurgen's had a great finish to last year, but Murray's still favourite. Roddick knocked out by Stanislas Wawrinka, who now plays Federer in the first ever all-Swiss Grand Slam QF. Agreed with the comment about Isner, but Schiavone beat Kuznetsova in a really long match today after 4h 44m. 6-4 1-6 (even that went for over 50 minutes) 16-14. "Petkorazzi" also beat Sharapova easily to get through.
  12. Nadal vs. Tomic now, so far at 3-2, Bernie looks good but obviously has no chance. Stosur out in a bit of a shock loss to Petra Kvitova, Milos Raonic, a Candian qualifier has got through to the 4th round by beating 10th seed Youzhny after already beating Llodra. He also has the fastest serve of the tournament at 230 km/h. Cilic beat Isner in a marathon 5-setter, Tsonga lost to Dolgopolov and Ferrer breezes past Richard Berankis to play Raonic next. EDIT: Now he's out, and that was our last Aussie in singles. At one point he was 4-0 up in the second, but Nadal was easily good enough to get back. Melzer also beat Baghdatis to play Murray next.
  13. Southee and McCullum apparently held Pakistan to only 124 runs.
  14. I got that Mama Cass, you know I got that Peter Tosh.

  15. We can't do that with normal TV in Aus
  16. Baghdatis beat Del Potro, Nalbandian retired hurt, Soderling through. In the women's, Stosur, Clijsters and Zvonareva are all through but Jelena Jankovic is now the highest seed to be eliminated after being beaten by Peng Shuai.
  17. It's actually www.australianopen.com for anyone interested. Vwnus Williams through in three sets, Roddick, Wozniacki, Henin and Berdych all through. Federer vs. Simon tonight for a 3rd round berth.
  18. Some early pics here http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/gallery/joshmathews.html http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/k/kidromeo/03.jpg
  19. Eddie's EWR Inventory isn't listed under links if you want to add that.
  20. Just a quick update as I can't think of much to add. I still don't like Nalbandian, but he hangs on to beat Hewiit 9-7 in the 5th. Clijsters double-bagelled Safina. Molik fights her way through. Both of Tsonga and Baghdatis challenged to 5 sets, but both progress. Nadal doesn't lose a game before Marcos Daniel retires.
  21. Has now run out of +1s for today after reading the Mason Ryan topic. On Sousa's birthday, no less.

    1. New Damage

      New Damage

      Don't you mean Jamal Chesterfield?

    2. Paige Turner
    3. Sousa

      Sousa

      Why lie here as well?

  22. Am I the only one interested in this? Anyway, Federer, Djokovic, Venus Williams and Wozniacki all easily through to the second round. A few interesting matchups coming in the next few days, including Nalbandian vs. Hewitt and Clijsters vs. Safina tomorrow.
  23. Olympics and World Cup, then just about any grand slam tennis tournament or the AFL Finals Series.
  24. Had a go... I think I've missed someone out, I'm not sure. Hope they're okay. Um... no, they were too.
  25. I was there tonight, and caught the end of the English innings including Tremlett's six as well as the Aussie batting. The boos for Clarke after a series of dot balls in the last 15 overs were massive, but even bigger support for Watto. Also, Ajmal Shahzad takes ages in between deliveries. Ridiculously long for an ODI.
