Shaun Tait's back in the team too, but neither will likely be able to regain their top pace or lethality. Tait's 5wd ball almost cost us that match, but as with just about any recent Australian bowler, he's always been a bit erratic.

This has got very little coverage in Australia, aside from that iirc the top ranked team (us) beat the lowest ranked team (India). Do Saudi Arabia have any great players anymore? If not, South Korea, Japan, Australia and maybe Iran or China should all have a good chance.

Yeah, but that's a bit different. Imagine how difficult it would be to put that sort of technology at the real outside courts, at Grand Slams especially. And they have to use all of those courts or else the tournament would run for about a month. And sahyder, with no UDRS, you'd better hope that Billy Doctrove isn't there. He was awful at Perth and had 3 or 4 of his decisions reversed in one day.

Havent been here a while or checked anything. Did anyone post these on their original background if so i'll just look back a few pgs if not anyone think they can post them? Thanks. I just went on the FCW site and got excited with the updated website lol They haven't been posted on the original background as no-one does those cuts often enough. Maybe wait until Lobo comes through. I don't think anyone else does them like that. Maybe Bill1996. That's their thing Similar to how I pretty much only do RKY updates, and only do kyky if they're there for a while. I would do some cuts of pictures on their original backgrounds if there was enough interest, it's actually really easy to do (especially compared to putting pics on other backgrounds).

Can anyone tell me if Matt Prior is actually all that great a batsman? Not to be cruel or anything, but he hasn't seemed that good to me but keeps making a lot of runs. Our bowling attack aren't quite that bad. Of course he still is far better than half our team at the moment though.

Our fans' turnout to matches has been very disappointing, especially considering that this is a series to regain arguably the most highly valued prize in cricket. But I have to admit, even though I'm a big fan of the Fanatics, the Barmy Army are bloody fantastic.

Nah, Australia stick with their captains much more than say, the West Indies or Pakistan. But he needs to go soon. I think I heard on the commentary at one point that the reason Ponting and Siddle were yelling at Aleem Dar(?) was because the reason he gave them was that the batsman hit his pad with the bat, which the replay on the scoreboard clearly showed he didn't. If not for that reason, Ponting should really have gone back to his position immediately and let it go, and I'm not condoning him arguing for the next few overs even if he was given a stupid excuse like that. But this is the sort of thing that he's done before, and Aussies unfortunately tend to gloss over it by saying either 1. it's part of the game, 2. he's just showing emotion or 3. we're all too critical of him, we need to support him instead. Finally, bring back Hauritz. We need him badly.

And that's the Ashes going back to England instead of a possible victory in only one day. And people say that cricket is slow.

It's worth a shot though, Marsh scored a century against NSW recently and is talented enough to make an impact.

Oh no you don't! Finally Johnno's got his touch back, very open game now with England 6-145. Hughes really isn't good enough though. Somehow he got a good score in the Aus A vs England game but he's been averaging 15 this year. That's right. Opening the batting for Australia with a domestic average of 15 runs this year. Where's Phil Jaques when you need him? He's from NSW so the selectors might pick him Oh, yeah, drop Ponting and Smith too. Do I really need to explain why?

That what in the what what? I swear your posts should come with an appendix. "Stoned" is a slang word we use in American sports. It just means he stopped his shot like a wall (made of stone). He's not saying he forced Young to get stoned. That's a pity. I was hoping he got angry with one of the opposition players and threw some rocks at him.
