Does anyone else feel that Keane and Defoe could work if we changed the way we play ? . Say Robbie drops back a little collects the the ball , Defoe is on the shoulder of the last defender and we dont boot the ball forward in the air , i think it could work

I watched the game today at a pub that had a arabic channel . We looked pretty porr defensivly but Robbie and Midos goal was taken very well . Dawson played 10/15 mins which is great of course as Naybet looked poor

Im not a Liverpool fan but i must admit i have a soft spot for them , so i want them to do well . That is quality . how long were the highlights? just out of curiousity. And im pretty pissed off with it at the moment . earlier i played in the league cup for 139 minutes , so thats 19 minutes stoppage time and strangley enough Fergy werent about .. in that time i got Carrick injured

King is quality and carries the Spurs defence . Woodgate is solid also . Id say there about the same but with Ledley slightly better on the ball

I watched the second half of this game an he didnt play badly and he was just trying to head away the cross for the own goal . I think the problem Woodgate will get in La Liga is that he is a pretty no nonsense Terry Butcher/John Terry center half and as you see on the sending off its gonna take alot of work . For me if you took away the bad decision to send him off it wouldve been a good debut , I think Woodgate is a good center half and when fit id put him joint 4th in the pecking order for England (Behind Terry , Rio , Sol and joint with King)

When i used to play id just get on with it and beat them the next time and tell the others what they did wrong (in a constructive way of course) so we can improve for the next time . When watching Spurs if ive seen us play like complete twats and just not give enough i get pretty pissed off and have a good moan at my mates for a few days then i calm down .

It wont be easy to keep 34 players happy Jol will have his hands full . Looks like we will be shaping up as Robinson Pyo King Dawson Stalteri/Kelly Reid Davids Carrick Jenas/Routledge Mido Defoe Thats leaving out Brown , Mendes , Keano , Rasiak , Davis , Lennon , Huddlestone , Gardner . They wont be quiet over the fact theyre sitting on the bench .

I think we need former players to ref games . They have the experience and no what players / fans want to see with being fair to the players .
