The Rated 'R' Superstar looks like it should be a bit smaller and raised off the text 'Edge'. It just looks too cramped. Oher than that, simplistic but v. good. Second one is good enough, but I'm not a fan of the subject, so alas I'll let someone else judge.

My first attempt at using Photoshop. The font I don't like, but I couldn't get it to change colour, or get any proper effects on it. Also, everytime I added a PSD they merged with the background, I like the effect tho the bottom right picture I would of prefered in colour, for the goriness. Any thoughts, advice or criticism are welcome. Help me out, yeah? <3

I'm bewildered by some of the opinions in this thread. Typical United fans for the most part, over confiudent to the point of swelling and exploding. Newcastle aren't on form? An eight match winning streak staring me in the face here, so I would beg to differ. Fair enough, Tottenham ran all over us but we held out due to some fantasic defending and Shay Given. Love that man. The fact of the matter is, we have done better than every opponent we've faced. Why? Football is about scoring goals and for the past eight games we have done that better than our opponents. 1 loss out of 16 games in 2005 also suggests we are on what most sane people would call good form. I don't say because it's Shearer's last season we will win the cup. I say it because we have developed a team that battles for every yard of grass on the pitch and never gives up. Even Robert is busting his ass for us match in and match out at the moment. I didn't see Liverpool beating Olymiakos 7-1 over two games, or Manchester United for that matter a few years back I believe. If anyone honestly believes Manchester United will walk over Newcatle, there crazy. This is football, anything can happen. But Newcastle right now are as in form as United. I'll agree, the Arsenal and United final is odds on favourite to happen but how can you deny there isn't a hope for the Toon yet? Come the weekend of 16th of April we'll see whether its all hype on our behalf, but somehow, someway, I can see it being our day. Hell, we drew Chelsea and everyone turned around and said ... "There Out". Yes, Chelsea played a weak team but that team was still a higher standard than half the current Premiership teams. I remember saying after seeing that draw, if it was to be our year, it would be a fairy tale one. I remember the excact words ... "I can bloody see it now. If we stand any chance of winning this, we'll have to get past Chelsea. Then no doubt we'll get United or Aresenal. Then have to face the other in the bloody final." Well, here we stand, semi finalists and in football, fdreams do come true. So don't write us off just yet.

Wondering if anyones read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan? I'm onto book four now and have 5-10 waiting on the shelf for me. Fantastic so far. Also, has anyone read the books by Raymond E. Feist, starting with Magician (A BBC Top 100 Read)? Fantastic series of fantasy literacy and would advise if you enjoy that stuff, then get to reading.

As I'm against splasing out 30 quid without knowing, is this worth the money, or should I just download an updated patch for this season? I've heard there a few neat little features, but is it worth it with a perfectly acceptable game already on my hard drive?

Plenty is an understatement =/ I'll only say. The penalty could of gone either way, thats true enough. But if this had at been at Old Trafford and it was United in dire straights, the referee would of never given the penalty Oh well, we probally deserved to lose given our terrible use of the ball in the last third. And why is Bramble still in the squad? I thought Souness would of sent him back to Ipswich by now, then again maybe not, Ipswich are too good for him.

I actually won something with Newcastle United ¬_¬ At least us Geordie's will get something, even if it is in my make believe world. I'm half way through my third season and I've progressed as such:- 1st Season 3rd in the Premiership League Cup Runners-Up to Arsenal FA CUp Winners against Crewe. Knocked out of Champions League in 2nd round by Arsenal. 2nd Season 3rd in Premiership, Lost by 2 points on the final day of the season. Knocked out of FA Cup 6th round by Liverpool. League Cup winners against Aresnal. Knocked out of Champion's League Quarter Finfals by Arsenal. (again) 3rd Season Currently 2nd, 30 games in. League Cup Winners Against Chelsea. FA Cup 6th Round, waiting to be played. Champion's League 2nd Round, knocked out by Real Madrid. As you can see, I have a big ass rivalry with Aresenal., I've played them 14 times in three seasons, and ive only won twice. Mother Fuckers.
