I'm not sure the Oilers are a particularly good branding decision when every day another country seems to catch fire.

Yeah, not at all surprising if dissapointing. Max held his line brilliantly and made it as difficult as possible for Hamilton. Just a shame for the rest of the race. Take Red Bull out of this season and this would have been a brilliant season.

Messi and Busquets have been made DPs, two of the DPs have been shifted to a regular roster spot. Jordi Alba is also coming in one a regular roster spot. The latter three are having their additional wages covered by Target Allocated Monies, of which Miami recently traded for more of.

The heads on the CAWs are terribly out of proportion.

Of all the advances in open wheel racing over the years it's absolutely the advances in safety and structural integrity that are the most remarkable. The fact everyone has walked away just fine from that, especially the T-bone at the ends is quite incredible.

Managed to convince myself that Red Bull want to see how Danny Ric performs over the next couple of races and if he does well they'll dump Checo during the summer break and bump DR up to the RB seat for the rest of the season. This is me mainly trying to understand why they didn't wait until the summer break to drop DeVries.

Finished my first character build. Given I don't have a bloody clue of the world and I somewhat winged it I think I've got a decent character there (if likely a little stereotypical). So I've gone with: Human paladin who previously served in the military but has now pledged himself to the Girded Healers. Reserved, a bit of a grouch but Lawful Good. Proficient in intimidation and athletics.

Somehow I managed to string 21 wins in a row together on FUT. Three consecutive promotions without losing a single game. I'll probably just quit now while I'm ahead.

I will absolutely be taking you up on this. I'm going to play around with the Beyond character build feature just to get a feel for it.

Okay, there's a few games shops locally so I'll check that out. Would prefer local for sure although online might not be bad for figuring out what the hell I'm doing in the mean time.

What's the best way to find a local game? I'm in the U.K. if that makes any difference.

That's good to know. I guess my view has been skewed by watching videos online that are hamming up the role play element.

So I've always been intrigued by D&D but it's not a thing I've ever really had happening around me and I've not particularly sought it out. Ended up in a spot recently where I don't know anyone where I live so thought I'd try and find a place to go play but first did some looking into how the game actually plays. Watched some videos, etc. online and it's not what I expected? I mean it looks great but didn't expect players to basically be ad-libbing their characters and acting within the game? Also, do you have a bunch of information before the game for direction? I watched one game on D&D Beyond, three characters and two of them were just constantly asking the third if they were happy, wanted to leave where they were, intimating they were being held against their will, etc. it was so on the nose and constant that I assumed they already knew something about that third character that I'd missed? It also kind of put me off because I'm pretty sure I'd be terrible at it 😂

Yeah. The gap at the end made me wonder for half a second whether softs would have kept Lando with Max but then I realised Max was probably just managing the gap.

Time might prove me wrong but McLaren have utterly cocked up that compound choice, especially the more this safety car drags out.

Yeah, and I can't imagine Checo's engineers reacting kindly to the idea either but fuck me he's been so poor and he's not this bad a driver. Becoming a real risk they dump him mid season at this rate.

Honestly, Checo has been so poor recently and the people at the top of Red Bull seem like such horrible shits at time, I'd absolutely accept that they've somehow nerfed his car.

Series X. I've managed 4 matches since launch and have failed on about 20 attempts.
