  1. Ja Morant just came down on his hand and if he hasn’t broken fingers, if not all of them, I’ll be shocked. Looked awful.
  2. If you’re from the south anyone north of the Watford Gap is northern.
  3. *begins. Norwich is most definitely not in the East Midlands.
  4. If, as seems likely, that Wrexham win the league it feels particularly devastating for Notts they’ll have to faff with the playoffs with over a 100 points. Let’s hope they go up through the playoffs.
  5. The lads Scottish, we can probably assume there’s something in there for language as well.
  6. Is Robertson being punished? Because by standards set already this season he should be seeing an 8 game ban for grabbing the referee like that?
  7. Hows does the lottery work for the play in teams? Does the pick go to whoever finishes 9/10 or whoever loses the play in?
  8. Immediately shuffled backwards to let his teammates get in between them as well. If you’re going to throw a punch then sack up and give Anderson the chance to swing back at least.
  9. I doubt it’s within the rules but he probably deserved a sending off for a complete and utterly inability to control his staff. He just stood there, literally hands in pocket, and let it all happy. Although given Di Zerbi arrived with a massive chip on his shoulder it’s not surprising this happened.
  10. Six. And the first (Ivic) joined the same month his reign began. Also, there have been 13 Watford managers since Klopp joined Liverpool. And in case you’re interested, the Watford board take the same approach to Udinese, where there has also been 13 managers in that same period.
  11. Only 5 managers have been at their clubs longer than Reigns has been champion. Only Pep, Klopp, Thomas Frank, Moyes and Arteta have been at their clubs longer.
  12. Big Joe with a big reassuring cuddle of a goal there to really ease those nerves.
  13. Yup. Although in Lampard’s mind he’s probably just pretending Tuchel never won the UCL the year he got the sack and treating it like the same year. Like nothing ever happened!
  14. I think we’ve been great in this game but despite that I’d still say West Ham have lost this game as opposed to Newcastle winning it. Just awful composure at the back.
  15. 4 substitutions and they didn’t take Emerson off? That’s the kind of move that’ll bite you in the back side, especially with a fresh Gordon running at him now. Burn looks knackered and I’m not overly surprised. Howe is obviously very reluctant to make changes to the back 4 whether that’s the starting XI or in game. Poor guys need a rest. There’s so many West Ham fans leaving en masse you’d think it was a planned protest.
  16. Emerson definitely should be off the field now. I understand the second yellow threshold is higher but that’s three fouls now this half. Eventually something has to give. Big Dan Burn isn’t having his best game for us.
  17. I wouldn’t write Brighton off yet and we we’ve had a spell this season that if we repeated would put the top 4 at risk. Im feeling pretty comfortable about Europe in general next year, which will be great. But really, really hope those European nights are against some of the big lads. Give me Bayern, give me Barcelona, give me PSG. It’s been 20 years, I’ve bloody missed it. Also, Jacob Murphy has been solid since Almiron got hurt. Really held his own and probably deserves to be on that list with Miggy and Big Joe of players finding a real groove under Howe.
  18. I don’t want to get my hopes up about the Champion’s League but this group of beautiful bastards is making it really difficult not to.
  19. Start deducting points from clubs for it. Fans aren’t concerned about personal repercussions because of the chances of being singled out are so low. Clubs won’t care about financial repercussions. So there needs to be a sporting punishment.
  20. The issue is the players don’t seem to dispute it at all.
