  1. Twiggy did not just stand there. I was at the With Teeth show in Edmonton. He was getting feedback from his mic when doing a solo, so he just lost it and threw the mic across the stage like a javelin. He was so into the show it was unreal. That show is easily the best I have ever been to. The use of the curtain for videos (especially during 'Beside You In Time') is really cool, and sometimes just moving emotionally. That band is note-perfect live, and I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Every show I've gone to since has been met with a 'well it's alright, but it's nothing compared to NIN' attitude now. I was so impressed it's pretty much ruined larege venue concerts for me now. Trent is amazingly talented.
  2. AFI is on tour right now by themselves, I just got an announcement about an Edmonton show this month. Check to see if they're going to your town.
  3. Check out the smaller stages at random. Every year I've ever been to a Warped, I've been introduced to a band I had never heard of that was really impressive.
  4. And I'm pushing you off. The regular fans don't have anymore room now that the whole city jumped back on too.
  5. If you're going to do AFI, look into their whole Sing the Sorrow album and it's allusion to rabbits, re-incarnation, and just a ton of other shit. I had a website on it, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Google it and a bunch of sites comes up for the topic.
  6. Fort Minor's 'Where'd You Go' is the only song on the CD I liked. Everything else was bad in my tastes. And the main 'singer' of Linkin Park isn't Shinoda.
  7. And the Oilers are FUCKED. The Score is reporting Roli is done for the series, but TSN hasn't said anything so far, and neither has Sportsnet. Anyone have any idea on it? If he is, they better start Markkanen. I can't stands me no Conklin.
  8. The end of Blow always made me get all emo, when he sees his daughter. He just looks so distraught.
  9. AFI Anti Flag Bouncing Souls The Casualties Joan Jett & The Blackhearts Less Than Jake Motion City Soundtrack Nofx Saosin Senses Fail The Sounds Thursday Underoath I went two years ago and the Sounds cancelled last minute, which pissed me off. I'm not too happy that the Warped Tour seems to be going more in the direction of the whole screamo thing, but Underoath and Saosin put on really good shows when I saw them. As usual, I go for Anti-Flag. Any word on specific line-ups yet? I wanna know who's actually scheduled for Calgary.
  10. Nothing will ever top Spider-Man 2024 or the Scarlet Spider. That is all.
  11. What Dreams May Come and Hellraiser 2 are probably your best bets out of all of those. They both describe aspects of the vision of hell, and vividly depict them. Hellraiser only shows Hell, but it's still an awesome representation of it.
  12. Might as well ask another question here. Exactly how was the new male lead guy introduced? Can't remember his name, but he's kinda been brought in to fill the void of Eric.

    Punk.

Anti-Flag is a great band I think, one of the best going today, but also check out stuff on the AF Record label. Pipedown, Virus9 (specifically 77 Threat), Thought Riot, all really strong bands. Bouncing Souls are tight, but they're more of a melodic old-school style. Coincidentally, one of my favorite Anti-Flag songs is a Bouncing Souls cover titled 'The Freaks, Nerds & Romantics'.
  14. What's the deal with Muse? Anyone in Canada that I've introduced to them absolutely LOVES them.
  15. His brother was also in Butterfly Effect and Boy Meets World. This show is awesome.
  16. I haven't figured out how to skin my profile yet. But whatever, MySpace is just a less-cooler Nexopia.
  17. Um, brick shithouse, not shit brick house. And I have no care for the Fits now, unless Graves/Danzing and Doyle get back in it.
  18. How do you access the actual missions? All I can seem to get to is the 'Small but Perfect Menu', and do challenges and multi-player mode.
  19. I seem to remember it being that the show's writers (Eugene Levy was involved) wanted to focus on their other projects. Add the fact that MTV wasn't renewing the show. Too bad too, Clone High was the best cartoon I've ever seen.
  20. See also: -Carrie (the kids 'befriend' her, and then betray her in the end, although she whoops ass)
