Found another bug/issue. For the hell of it, I started another game as a female character. She has the same back sprite going into battle as the male trainer. Also on the forums you linked to, why are these people talking about being further in the game than where you can get in 0.8?

Would that secret quest be that thing with the Mystery Egg? I did that, and that was it. I talked to Elm and he said nothing different, and I got healed by the Healer guy and nothing special happened. Was I supposed to hatch the egg? Because that's fucking boring, just walking around town. Also, a question: does this game use the physical/special split from D/P or does it work on the classic style? If it's the latter then you just fucked Sinnoh. If it's the former then it makes the rest of the regions much more interesting to play. You can clearly see which one I'd prefer.

New stage revealed: That's going to be...interesting, to say the least. By the way if you don't recognise where that stage is from then you officially fail it.

I had a quick go of 0.8, once in Johto, once in Sinnoh and once in Hoenn. The Pros: - I like the idea of an online Pokemon RPG, and it's good that someone's taken the trouble to work on one. - Every region? Yes please. I like this too. - Shadows is an interesting implementation. - I got a pretty awesome Mudkip in Hoenn, female and Brave. The Cons: - The Sinnoh sprites are all squished and pixellated. - No choice of player sprite. - You could do fuck-all in Johto. - No menu to restart the game. - The fuck's this guy doing with a Lv2 Noctowl on Route 101? Overall I'm not that impressed, but I'll wait and see what comes next and make a more informed opinion then.

Uh...I'm fairly certain they aren't. The third neighbourhood is Veronaville, which, if you couldn't tell by the name, is the Shakespeare one. I do know that Malcolm Landgraab IV lives in Bluewater Village, which comes with Open for Business. If there's another family of Landgraabs then I don't know about them.

So I've started making a team again for WiFi battling. I have two possible Pokemon already, but they don't fit into my plan. I am also training a third. Out of curiosity, have any of you guys put together teams for battling with? Or do you just use the teams you ran through the game with if you battle?

I actually finally got it by using a different method of thinking. I now have 116 stars, including the maddeningly hard purple coins star of the toy galaxy. That was insanity. Tell me about it. Imagine my horror when I saw a Youtube video of some guy in Japan collecting every single coin on that level, without missing a single one. I think there was like 150 of them... you don't even get any real kind-of bonus for collecting all of them, he just did it for the hell of it. There's no release date set for Brawl other than Japan (where it's already out) and America (which is March 9th), but if it's anything like Melee then you're going to be waiting a fair while. There is a Mario Kart Wii in development right now, yes, and it'll apparently come with a steering wheel controller thing that you can use while playing it. Which is pretty neat. Mario Kart Wii is set to be released March 15th in America, April 10th in Japan, and Q1 in Europe and Australia (so October-December 2008 =/). Pikachu, Ganondorf, Sonic and Marth have brutality Final Smashes. Ganondorf and Marth's are just insane.

You start the battle with Ivysaur out I believe. Hitting Down-B switches to the next Pokemon, which I think goes Ivysaur-Charizard-Squirtle. EDIT: Oh hang on, just checked the Dojo and it says you can choose which Pokemon to start with if you're Pokemon Trainer.

I will most definitely be giving Lucario a try once he's unlocked, and I'm also curious as to how ROB will play, so I wouldn't mind giving him a try either. Also Pokemon Trainer (Squirtle specifically) looks pretty cool, so there's also him. Oh, and Mario. I've always been pretty good as Mario.

Spoiler: Click here to viewWell, I know who I'll be playing as. And if that pic you posted earlier was Lucario's Final Smash (that blue beam) that means it's likely Aura Sphere, which is awesome. Either that or Aura Sphere will be his Shadow Ball, and his FS will be something like Hyper Beam or Dragon Pulse or something. Still awesome.

Double-Powder and an average SpAtk stat. That's it. As for it's disadvantages, it has the quad-Rock weak that all Bug/Flying types share that castrates them immediately, especially nowadays with Stealth Rock running around everywhere. It has other weaknesses to Fire, Ice, Electric and Flying. Ice is everywhere thanks to the Dragons, and Electric is on most special attackers that can learn Thunderbolt. Butterfree is frail and slow, and so will die fairly quickly. Heracross is far and away the best Bug type, while Forretress is meh and Scizor is a decent Baton Passer and is probably the best U-Turn user there is (especially with a Choice Band behind it).

If only Kricketot and Kricketune didn't suck like nearly all Bug types. If you really want to raise a Kricketune, then go for it, but don't expect it to do much in battle except die.

WBC have always incensed me, and I really wish they would take a look at what they're doing, and realise that they're fucking up in terms of what they're not supposed to be doing. "Judge not, lest ye be judged" is one thing they should really learn. For fuck's sake this makes me so angry.

Oh god what This game keeps delivering the greatest things ever. This is going to be fucking epic when it comes out.

Actually, if you read some stories yourself, you'd realise that's not the definite case. From the Sydney Morning Herald website There's also still an autopsy to be done, and as far as I know no suicide note was found. If it was premeditated, which it likely would've been if the speculation on suicide is true, he would've left something.
