  1. Just finished it. Final chapters are too rushed. Too many elements are introduced without any build up or depth to them, so they mostly fall kinda flat. Good game overall though. Door is open for a sequel.
  2. Yeah I saw it on their site, im interested in checking it out.
  3. I heard about someone trying to pick up the rights for a sequel a while ago, it seems that someone has gotten them and 2 days ago announced something that sent multiple orgasms through me. http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/09/15/news_6133326.html
  4. My hands aren't exactly huge, small if anything. I've never had a single problem with the Xbox controller, the original one that is. Are you a midget or just nitpicking? EDIT: Lies. I do have problems with the Xbox controllers. They keep breaking.
  5. What a predictable response. Hell, I don't really care. You can't really judge a controller until you use it really. My first impressions were "What the fuck" after reading the article I ended up thinking "It could work". I like the fact that Nintendo are the only company that really seem to give a shit about innovation in the next generation and attracting the non gamer crowd. They have attracted this crowd fairly successfully in Japan with the DS, this seems like the next step in that direction.
  6. You're right, he does look a lot like him, can't believe I didn't realise that before. Its just that his body language reminds me of Kuja. Which like I said, is a very good thing. Kuja was a fantastic villain, a much deeper character than Sephiroth. And he rode around on a huge dragon. Kick ass.
  7. Just got the game today, thank you very much Gameplay.com delivering me games a full day before their official release. Anyway, the only thing i don't like about it so far is the way the conversations are set up. Its essentially a fight against time, which I don't really like to be honest.
  8. Yeah thats kinda why I said im not disappointed because theres more stuff coming out.
  9. Well its been released in Japan. US date has been put back till the winter. European date until something within the next 15 years is a good estimate. And its been leaked onto the internet before that. Which I have on my computer and have watched twice now. There is essentially no story. Well there is, its just very poorly told and merely an excuse to show off, I must say, some absolutely gorgeous and amazing looking action sequences. Characters from FF7 are more or less reduced to cameo roles with the exception of a few. Aerith/s role feels like something that had no thought behind it. Theres still no real closure on a lot of stuff. Reno and Rude are reduced to poor attempts at humour. Kadaj is a very cool villain I have to admit though. The action sequences, I adore, they are mind blowingly amazing. Some suprise appearances from certain characters are admirable as well. Overall, I think that the movie is quite good really, despite the faults. It doesn't work very well as a sequel to FF7, but as something that you can just sit back and watch, its actually quite good. Ignore the story, or lack of, and just watch Cloud just generally kick massive amounts of ass. Im not disappointed, Square have several games in the pipeline that should provide closure on a lot of details that I feel should have been in the movie, so that doesn't bother me much. It just something thats very hard to not be impressed with because of the visuals and the action.
  10. lanky316 speaks the complete truth. Thats why I am happy that Creative Assembley are now in the hands of Sega, so that the bug ridden mess that is Rome Total War might actually be fixed. And I have no doubt that The Movies will be a disappointment. I think Lionhead have a shitload of good ideas but are poor in implementing them.
  11. Its been developed by Lionhead. That means it will sound really really good when Peter Molenyeux hypes it up but the reality is completely different.
  12. Godfuckingdammit, Million Dead fucking rocked so fucking much. Julia was hot too.
  13. Ok, this is more of a nod towards the fact that you mentioned Jello Biafra, but his collaboration with DOA is fantastic as well and well worth checking out.
  14. As far as I know, it was meant to be Aerith as it was an anagram of "I Earth" which fits in with Aeriths role in the FFVII universe. It was corrected for Kingdom Hearts and stays the same in Advent Children as far as I know. Other than that, I still prefer Aeris, but I like the fact that Aerith has its own meaning.
  15. I care about season mode enough to skip out on Smackdown VS Raw because it sucked. Considering that its the backbone of every Smackdown game if you want to simply play it by yourself, im sure that im not the only one that thinks this way. They've added all of the old belts? Who really gives a fuck about those? A few extra textures. Yeah, I can feel the £40 jumping out of my pocket in anticipation of this revolutionary new edition in the Smackdown series. Smackdown games have become like an EA sports game franchise. Every year theres a new one with a few minor improvments. You would have thought that with the amount of editions there have been that they would be the best games in their genre right now. Instead, every year theres enough room for meaningless aesthetic improvments and tiny steps in the right direction followed by a few bigger steps backwards. Quite frankly im getting bored of playing whats essentially the same game every year.
  16. I've been playing the PC demo for a while now. Wow, I really like the idea of the game, the multiple path idea is a really nice one. I like the sort of mini game thing going with the methods of carrying out the tasks as well. I just hope the rest of the game is as open as this. Its been getting really good reviews as well.
  17. I couldn't go in the end, i've been ill all day.
