  1. I disagree. People win 200+ times what he's won in lotteries. Plus, his streak is leading to increased ratings for the show, which leads to higher add revenue, which leads to more money for those who work on it. KEN JENNINGS=GOOD FOR THE ECONOMY!
  2. Why not? It's not like he has enough to live out his days. He wants to buy a house, send his kids to college (and Mormons typically have a lot of kids), the million goes pretty fast.

    I Love The 90s

Hogan was also on it here and there. Sure, he's more 80s, but so is Dee Snider.
  4. Freddy. You could make a case that the other killers listed were either (A) Lashing out based upon prior treatment, and even deserved to be pitied, or (B) Were monsters, not people. Freddy, however, was a person, and he was b-b-bad to the bone.
  5. When Lindsey decided to remain "heel" in the first season and accept his promotion, well, that was one of my all-time favorite "Angel" moments.
  6. I'm shocked that people would say Jeopardy is "getting boring" or that they'll switch back to the five-time limit. Because of Jennings, the show is getting all sorts of mainstream publicity, and I can only imagine the increase in ratings.

But we can remember the 90s better, old man
  8. The questions on "Jeopardy" are easier than the ones on shows like "Who Wants to be a Millionare", but that's part of the style of the show. It's about knowledge, reaction time, and rapid-fire participation.
  9. You mean Mr. Feeny?
  10. Thirty-time "Jeopardy" Champion Ken Jennings broke $1,000,000 on tonight's broadcast. When "Jeopardy" announced they had abolished the five-time win limit last year, I knew it was only a matter of time before a really dominant champ came along. However, I had no idea he would be this dominant. How long do you think he can go?
  11. Elton John, I probably have about 20 songs by him.

    Weezie Dies

She was great on that show. Thankfully, it sounds like she lived a long and happy life.
  13. To be honest, I think the only one without really glaring flaws is Jon Stewart.
  14. Hap Collins and Leonard Pine (Joe Lansdale books) Ah Q (The True Story of Ah Q, Lu Tsun) Hamlet (duh)
  15. Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt(Rumored & Not Denied) Peach, regardless of gender Julia Roberts & Her Babies' Daddy(Twins, Boy & Girl) Girl: Erin Boy: Brock Marc Anthony & Jennifer Lopez(Rumored & Denied) Girl: Cleopatra Boy: Anthony Liv Tyler & That Guy From Spacehog Girl: Perri Boy: Joe
  16. I never said anything about the movie being inaccurate, save for the fact that if it was, it wouldn't surprise me. All I said is that I found your "defense" of "Fahrenheit 9/11" to be far from convincing. As I've told you in the past, don't put words in my mouth.
  17. There are very few "holes" that you exposed. Your post basically involved you defending Moore's opinions and style, not the fact behind them. If that makes attitude retarded, well, then I guess that's what it is. Just because you're not drinking from the big bowl, it doesn't mean your Kool-Aid is any less toxic.
  18. Actually, he posted an article and he was attacked on a personal level. That offended me. Perhaps if I agreed with you, I wouldn't be asked to calm down?
  19. And apparently, you can't criticize a left-winger without being labeled a sheep.
  20. Jesus, why jump down Jimmy's throat? Because he posted articles that took an opposing viewpoint to one held by much of this community? He never said anything about his personal opinion of "Fahrenheit 9/11", all he said was that he wasn't surprised to hear about inaccuracies in it. Judging from Moore's past work, neither am I. Maxx, to tell him to "get [his] facts straight and stop buying what the media tells [him]" is utterly ridiculous. Nobody's allowed to question something that supposedly of an esoteric nature?
  21. Aw, shit. Good thing I still have my X-Box.
  22. Oh, it is going to be available for Gamecube? Far out.
  23. Donatello. If we're including non-turtle characters, then Oroku Saki, a.k.a. The Shredder.
