  1. The fiery young power of Pennington to (the other) Moss will be all the rage this season.
  2. If you don't plan on getting the DVD, there's no reason not to buy the WMXX video. As for No Way Out, it was really a crummy show, with one excellent match (Eddie-Brock), one good match (Chavo-Rey), one so-so match (Angle-Show-Cena), and four shitty matches. Personally, I'd get the "Eddie Guerrero: Cheating Death, Stealing Life" DVD, which has the Brock match as an extra.
  3. I think she took some time off to have a child, if I'm not mistaken. According to the IMDB, she's got a project coming up sometime soon. Oh, and let me weigh in on what I find ends up becoming a very dividing issue: yes, she is pretty. EDIT- Took a quick look at the IMDB, her upcoming projects haven't really got release dates, so who knows what's happening there.
  4. Pretty good list, though I severely disagree with numbers one and two. Glad to see Mario RPG made the list, though, as it's one of my faves. I'd put it in the top five, along with Link to the Past, SMB 3, and, uh, two others.
  5. "I'm Hulk Hogan, and this is my daughter, Brooke."
  6. I saw the preview, it looks interesting. Odd thing is, the trailer is already playing, but I don't think it opens until February.
  7. Johnny Bravo may be white, but The Rock is still perfect for the role. He's a big, muscular guy who can be arrogant, and who can easily play a dumbass. Plus, he sorta sounds like Bravo. In my opinion, Rock is the perfect casting choice.

Man, I hope Lee isn't in this. The guy rubs me the wrong way, but that's not what this is about. His presence would be distracting. Even if he plays Customer #4, it's still Jason Lee, and he still has an atmosphere about him. He really has no place in this film.
  9. John Entwistle of The Who.
  10. Crap, I was literally about to post almost that exact same thing.
  11. It was no worse than any other version of that crappy song that I've heard, to be honest. But, that's just me, and I don't like Aerosmith.
  12. If it's anyone's fault that the country was distracted, it's hers, because the odds that the "malfunction" was an accident are about the same as the odds of Rick Santorum and Nathan Lane becoming best friends.
  13. Full Throttle was also great. Lucasarts games are the shit.
  14. 1. She Caught The Katy - Jake 2. Peter Gunn Theme - Jake 3. Gimme Some Lovin' - Jake 4. Shake A Tail Feather - Ray Charles/Jake & Elwood 5. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love - Jake & Elwood/Patty Austin/Vivian Cherry/Ullanda McCullough 6. The Old Landmark - James Brown/Rev. James Cleveland Choir 7. Think - Aretha Franklin/Brenda Corbet/Margaret Branch/Caroline Franklin 8. Theme From Rawhide - Elwood & Jake 9. Minnie The Moocher - Cab Calloway 10. Sweet Home Chicago - Elwood & Jake 11. Jailhouse Rock - Jake
  15. Joe Lansdale. He doesn't incorporate supernatural stuff into most of his work, but if you want suspense, he's your man. Start out with Mucho Mojo.
  16. Bad idea, IMO. Ash has no place whatsoever in this series, and he really doesn't fit into this genre. The movie will just be a bunch of phoned-in one liners, and could serve to alienate hardcore fans of any of the franchises.
  17. According to Yahoo news, he died of natural causes. RIP, Rick. Thanks for all the great music.
  18. There are a lot of popular movies I haven't seen (the Godfather series, the Terminator series), but I generally catch most of the ones I want to catch. Are you kidding? The effects were awesome, especially for 1980. When the chick caught the axe to the head, it wasn't overdone or anything, just straight-up brain cleaving. I can't imagine any amount of CGI doing it any better.
  19. I haven't seen that feature, but The Ring is the only movie I've seen in recent memory that really scared me. Even thinking about it now, with the part where they were watching the survelliance video and Samara never slept, and of course, her crawling out of the well, scares me quite a bit.
  20. Very, very glad to hear it. Chappelle's Show is without question the funniest show on TV, and more of it is just what I was waiting for.
  21. Yeah, until the last ten seconds of the twelfth round, it was like he didn't even realize he was getting his ass kicked in a Championship Match.
  22. Alas, I thought even those guys sucked in this piece of shit.
  23. For an hour and a half, each and every actor attempted to emulate Christopher Walken, and then all failed miserably... even Christopher Walken.
  24. I... I'm sorry, what finishing school did you say you attended?
