  1. Pardon me if this was mentioned, but are we to assume that Darth Plagus "created" Anakin? Seems logical to me, and it's something that could be explored in a pre-prequel, if ever necessary. It also makes the character of Anakin a little more interesting, as he was created for the purpose of evil, but ended up torn between it and good.

    South Park

I strongly disliked last night's episode, actually. It was out-there, but with only a few parts as exceptions, it wasn't funny. I guess I just wasn't in the mood for a Jimmy-centric episode. However, the one at 9:30 (the assface people) was quite possibly the funniest episode I've ever seen.
  3. What was that? I didn't catch anything of that sort, but I'd like to hear about it.
  4. Not only do I admit to having greatly enjoyed The Ring, but I admit that it scared the crap out of me. Having said that, I was totally disappointed by The Ring 2. There was nothing to it- it wasn't spooky, it wasn't interesting, it was just bland. As PRP said, it was more unintentionally funny than anything else- my friends and I cracked up when Naomi Watts asked the kid if he wanted her to get in the tub with him. Oh, and making Lumberg jokes when Gary Cole was onscreen made for a good time. Apart from that, save your money.
  5. "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. And no, I'm not any good. At all.

    South Park

Top notch episode, I especially enjoyed the, um, graphic footage towards the beginning. If this is indicative of the entire season, then we're in for some great entertainment.
  7. "Tuesday's Gone" by Lynyrd Skynyrd "Like a Rolling Stone" the Hendrix/B.B. King cover "Purple Rain"- Prince
  8. "It's Not Unusual" by Tom Jones. I believe it's either 1:59 or 2:00 on the dot.
  9. If we're doing semi-obscure cartoons, add The Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa and Conan: The Adventurer to the list. I still listen to those, along with Bucky.
  10. Most of mine have been mentioned, but I must add Futurama, King of the Hill, and above all, Dallas.

    Rap Music

You've probably already heard it (especially if you used to watch ECW), but go for "Natural Born Killaz." That's my all-time favorite Rap song. EDIT: I didn't see your disgruntled face, so I didn't know you were being sarcastic!
  12. I did catch the clip, though not the robot chicken. My favorite "fight" was Al Franken beating up the baby.
  13. Me?!?!? ← Yup. Just a hunch.
  14. I think I know who'll be happy about this.
  15. 3 South, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, and Futurama (which started in 99, but I'm taking liberties). They were all great and original, epecially Futurama, my all-time favorite show.
  16. I'm pretty sure he was just saying goodbye to the congregation before he left for Hollywood. I could be wrong, though.
  17. Ooh, I forgot about F-Zero. To this day, my favorite racing game of all time. Nothing before or after can touch it.
  18. Maniac Cop and Maniac Cop 2 were both really well done movies. The acting was top notch, and more importantly, the plots were interesting. The same goes for Duel, a really fun suspense/action movie, also Steven Spielberg's first foray into full length direction.
  19. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Super Mario RPG Final Fantasy III Star Fox Super Mario World
  20. As long as you're doing this, you may as well review the single greatest video game of all time, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
  21. On a similar note, I cried at the end of All Dogs go to Heaven. Who the hell expects an ending like that from animated children's movie?!?
  22. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, I wasn't trying to defend The Butterfly Effect. Bar none, the best movie of 2004 (to me) was Kill Bill, Volume 2. David Carradine put in one of my favorite film performances of all time.
  23. Let me guess, the entire top 10 is filled with sappy chick flicks. ← No, actually that's crappy chick flicks. I GUARANTEE you The Butterfly Effect will be #1....and that sucks. ← If only... my prediction is that we're gonna be stuck with Eternal Shitstain in the top spot. ← I take it you didn't like Eternal Sunshine, Boulder? May I ask why? ← Without spouting too much flamebait, I'll say that I thought it was artsy and pretentious, and there was no reason the dream sequence should've taken up so much of the movie. It seemed interminable. The characters got on my nerves to the point where I had almost no emotional investment in the plot.

    South Park

Very funny episode. I missed it the past couple of weeks, so I made it my business to catch this one. At first I was bored, but once the "twist" was revealed, things really picked up.
