I think he'll be good, but at what point do the high profile players think of the club as a joke because of the money they're throwing around, and just not put in the effort they should? I think they might have already fallen into that trap with Adebayor. Oh, and in the Newcastle- Orient game Tim Krul was shite. I only saw the goals, so I don't know how the whole team performed(probably in the normal 'don't give a fuck' mode), but watching the goals, I'm surprised we didn't concede more with that kind of performance.

Duff annoys me, because he drifts inside a lot and looks almost scared to use his pace. There's still something left there, it just seemed like his decisions let him down last season. Just heard Tevez' pimp on Sky Sports saying that he has too much respect for the Man Utd fans to go to Liverpool. So, not enough respect for them that he wouldn't go to Man City? I'd have liked to see him go to Liverpool and see a partnership with Torres built. Shame it looks like he's going to Man City or Chelsea.

We played PSV and Valencia last year and we played Juventus at home the year before. I got to see Nedved play in person, and from what I remember, he was absolute quality in the game. Shame Newcastle are so shit that they can't even arrange attractive friendlies now. Although, I remember hearing that conditions of the Coloccini transfer were that we had to play in two pre- season tournaments, so maybe that'll be announced soon.

I might end up going to the Leeds game, just because it's at home, and a lot of my friends love going to friendlies. Fuck it if it's over £7 a ticket though. Season ticket holders in free would be lovely.

Thanks, can't remember if it was on this site or not, but someone bought a Man Utd shirt from one of the sites, with Berbatov on the back, and from the pictures I couldn't tell the difference from a normal priced one. I feel like getting a shirt from one of them just to see what it's like. Hopefully they get the new Newcastle shirt in soon.
